Art Ave began as an initiative of the Daybreak Arts Council in 2019 and is a yearly rotating outdoor public art display. Artwork of all sizes may be submitted, and artists at any experience level are encouraged to apply. As part of this program, the community is invited to come see the artwork at an annual Art Stroll event and throughout the year. Artists whose pieces have been selected for the program are invited and encouraged to attend the Art Stroll event. Artists are given the opportunity to speak to the community about their artwork, artistic process, inspiration, and experiences.

FEED Media Art Center, in partnership with Erie Art Company, invites digital artists from around the globe to participate in OPEN FEED 2025, an exhibition and residency program exploring the vast landscape of digital art. They welcome submissions of artworks, performances, and workshops that push boundaries, challenge conventions, and engage with the electric pulse of the contemporary world.

The Open FEED 2025 Onsite Residency is an opportunity for media artists to prototype and finish artworks using FEED’s unique resources. Artists are invited to expand their practice in large-scale dedicated studio and exhibition spaces located in a historic 200-year-old building, and explore new skills and techniques with access to FEED’s one-of -a-kind collection of digital and analogue tools and technologies.

Open to artists 18 years and older. Entries must be original and created entirely by the artist. Paintings must be water-based media (watercolor, acrylic, gouache, casein, or tempera) on paper, synthetic paper, paperboard, wrapped canvas, or cradled wood panel. Non-water-based media may be integrated but cover no more than 20% of the artwork. Digital entries only. Artwork submitted must have been completed after January 1, 2023, and not received an award in any national or international show. Artwork exhibited in any previous SDWS International Exhibition is not eligible. Only one painting per artist may be juried into the exhibition.

The position of Artist in Residence is available as a one-year assignment for a working artist in any medium. The successful applicant will have access to studio space and use of the facilities within the Art Department. The post holder is expected to contribute to curriculum and co-curricular Art, as well as the community work that takes place within their purpose-built gallery. The Artist will be engaged on a self-employed basis for an average of 3 days per week. However, the position is flexible and may evolve through the course of the residency.

David Roche Gallery is excited to announce the inaugural Best in Show 2025: Australian Photographic Dog Prize. Established as a biannual prize to celebrate Australian dogs and pay homage to the legacy of their founder, David Roche AM (1930-2013). From David’s famous Fermoy Kennels in North Adelaide his dogs won awards nationally and internationally from the 1950s to the early 2010s. Particularly known for his Afghan Hounds and Kerry Blue Terriers, David holds the record for having won more Best in Shows at Royal Shows than any other Australian. Best in Show 2025: Australian Photographic Dog Prize is open to amateur and professional photographers with a first prize of $5000. The Young photographer category offers a first prize of $500 and the People’s Choice Award $500.

The City of Grand Junction and the Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture are pleased to announce an opportunity for an artist(s) to create a shade shelter to install along the paved trail. The theme for the Pensychnant Conservation Centre Open 2025 will be Nature, Environment and Conservation. They welcome 2 and 3 dimensional artworks in any medium or style. Tulsa Artist Fellowship is a place-based, durational award that aims to support visionary arts practitioners. Realizing George Kaiser Family Foundation’s vision grounded in social change, Tulsa Artist Fellowship is committed to fostering an environment where a visionary community of artists and arts workers have the opportunity to thrive. Echoes of Ice is an international exhibition exploring Iceland's glaciers through diverse creative expressions. To be held online and in Skaftafell National Park throughout the summer of 2025, it responds to the UN's International Year of Glaciers' Preservation by inviting creatives and scientists to show case work that reflects on the past, present, and future of these landscapes.

Nested in the heart of a dynamic city, Tirana Art Residency – Vila 31 x Art Explora aims to support contemporary creation in all its forms, within a transdisciplinary and transgenerational perspective. The Painting Center is seeking submissions for the juried group exhibition Turned and Turning Still curated by Kellie Lehr, Jamie Powell and Lisa Petker Mintz. The exhibition will be on view from June 24 - July 19, 2025, and will be featured on Artsy.
