The Gallery at Graphite is seeking proposals for high quality art exhibits for their 760 sq ft gallery space in downtown Edmonds. Curators and established art groups (societies, associations, clubs, leagues, etc.) are encouraged to apply with a proposal. The Gallery at Graphite is a program of the non-profit organization Art Start Northwest.

Denver Public Art is seeking to directly purchase multiple existing artworks for the new Lena Archuleta Library in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. This is a unique opportunity for artists to submit existing artworks for consideration of purchase; all artworks selected will become a part of the City of Denver’s public art collection. The goal of the project is to fill the new library with vibrant artworks that honor the beautiful new space and the community it serves.

The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! They invite a variety of top master artists, museum directors and gallery owners to judge each month. All monthly winners are automatically included in the Annual Competition where the Grand Prize winner receives $15,000 and has their painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 representational art magazine at Barnes & Noble.
In addition to over $50,000 in ALL Cash Prizes, winners receive exposure and recognition through their various magazines, websites, newsletters and social media platforms.
Early Bird Registration ends on the 15th. Enter before the deadline to receive 25% off every entry. The regular cost is $40 for the first entry, and just $16 for each additional entry. Artists are welcome to enter as many paintings as they like, in as many categories as they like. There are 19 categories in all.

The Lakkos Artist Residency is a base for creatives to come and explore an authentic Greece city and a wonderful Greek island. The residency has just relocated to a new location that like the previous one needs a bit of an art injection. It’s a small area in Heraklion’s Old Town that time has not touched.
There are a couple of city beaches within walking distance. There is no obligation to put on a presentation at the end of an artist’s stay but if desired we often have one-night-only shows.

Apapacho is PROArtes México’s arts residency and studio space in the heart of Mexico City. Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA) is central to Northern Arizona’s vibrant creative culture, fostering an engaged, equitable, and imaginative community. Managed by Creative Flagstaff, CCA serves the arts, science, and cultural sectors of Flagstaff. CCA’s facilities include a 4000 sq ft Main Gallery, an adjacent 215 sq ft Project Gallery, and an intimate 200-seat Theater. CCA is located on US 180 in route to the Grand Canyon. CCA invites exhibition proposals from artists, curators, and cultural organizations for rolling review by the CCA Exhibitions Selection Committee. The Main Gallery hosts 3-4 major exhibitions annually, with a rotation of 4-6 exhibitions in the Project Gallery. Interdisciplinary proposals that include digital media or installation elements are encouraged.

This residence program offers all entering participants a fully furnished room within a communal apartment located on the aqb premises, as well as a studio space catering to the project’s requirements.
They offer varied services to integrate residents into the local art scene and assist in establishing professional connections that best support their work and career. aqb personnel provide assistance through the program, catering to practical needs related to life in Budapest, to obtaining necessary materials, equipment and more.
The residency program offers broad possibilities for artists, including cooperation among various disciplines, backgrounds and interests to serve as sources of inspiration.

Applicants should demonstrate a high level of mastery of their chosen medium/media, and must be able to include original pieces available for purchase over the weekend. The event requires that artists stand with their exhibited work.
