At Studio Luce, they give artists and writers the freedom to manage their own schedules, trusting them to use their time as they see fit. They believe artists know how they work best, and their role is to support that. This is a very hands-off residency where you, as the creative, determine how best to use your time. They don’t require a finished piece at the end of your stay, understanding that this residency is a small part of your process. Deadlines can stifle creativity, but they’re always there for check-ins and conversations, offering insights into El Paredón and Guatemala. While the work is up to you, they encourage collaboration and meals with fellow artists and interaction with the local community.

For Eye to Eye 2025, they are seeking installation proposals with a strong artistic voice and feasible timeline which invite collaboration from other artists. Submitted art samples will primarily be used to give a sense of an artist’s creative voice and ability to follow through on artistic projects.
They will assign teams of 3-4 artists to work together to fabricate the installation. Each team will include at least one artist represented by Fresh Eye Arts, a progressive art studio supporting artists with disabilities.

This year the Waverley Art Prize is returning to the Bondi Pavilion Gallery as Bondi’s staple event in the local and national art prize calendar. The Waverley Art Prize is aimed for early to mid-career artists. The Open Prize and Mayor’s Prize-winning works are acquired in the Waverley Council Collection. The funds raised through the art prize support Waverley Woollahra Art School and help them sustain their role as the longest running artist run initiative in Waverley. For this open call, they will be providing 6 grants totaling $11,000 USD. 2 artists will each receive $3,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000. This is an international open call. All media is eligible. Their open call provides you with a direct path to get your work in front of an international community of curators, artists, gallerists, and arts administrators. In addition to grants, 30 artists will be selected for a shortlist. Sculpture Missoula announces a call for five sculptures for the inaugural opening of a sculpture garden in Missoula’s most beloved and picturesque park. The 15-acre park in the heart of Missoula is situated on the banks of the Clark Fork River adjacent to downtown, and offers a variety of recreational activities, including hiking and biking trails, picnic shelters, a boat ramp, parking, accessible public restrooms, and scenic views. The New English Art Club (NEAC) is delighted to invite early-career artists aged 18 and over, living in Great Britain, and working in figurative painting, drawing or printmaking to apply for the NEAC Artist Scholarships. The three scholarships are aimed at individuals who have not historically benefited from many opportunities to engage with the NEAC, and aim to support those who face financial barriers in pursuing the arts in a professional capacity. Early-career artists include anyone who feels they are at the beginning stages of their professional artistic career, regardless of age.

As with all TAAGs, community benefit is at the heart of the program and must be clearly outlined in the application.

Open call for the exhibition called FUNGI, dedicated to art works engaging in form or concept with the mycological world.
The show is open June 09 -27th, will feature approximately 40 artists, jury selected. Artists may display multiple pieces for sale.
They are collaborating BWAC, whose 25,000 sq ft gallery spans two floors of a historic warehouse on the Brooklyn waterfront and Brooklyn Mushroom a platform dedicated to arts, culture and community around all things mycological. The recent winter festival brought 1,200 visitors to the one day event.
