Underdonk is thrilled to announce their Summer Solo open call! The selected artist or collaboration will receive an NYC solo show in their Lower East Side gallery for two weeks. The run of the show will be July 18-27, 2025. They are looking for artists who have an exhibition concept ready! This exhibition opportunity is perfect for experimental and interdisciplinary work that activates the space and fosters cultural dialogue. In addition to choosing one solo exhibition, Underdonk members will also promote their top ten picks from the application process and post them on their social media platforms. The Worcester Center for Crafts is a non-profit community-based arts organization committed to sustaining craft as a vital part of their community. Established in 1856 as the Worcester Employment Society, the Worcester Center for Crafts is an organization that still sees the value of craft in improving the quality of life for Worcester residents. In the early days, the Center forged its tradition of economic empowerment through craft by teaching the skills necessary to create and sell handmade crafts primarily to immigrants and immigrant women. Ceramic Botanica is held in the Handcrafted shop and all items are entered into their store-inventory under the guidelines of the gallery store consignment contract.

The Attleboro Arts Museum, a prominent cultural institution between Boston and Providence, invites U.S. artists to submit work for its 2025 National Juried Exhibition, Reign, Rain, Rein. Open to all mediums and interpretations, the exhibition challenges artists to explore themes of power, weather, and restraint. Submissions might depict a reign of terror, heavy downpours, or control and discipline. Artists may reference The Queen of Hearts, the end of a drought, or an equestrian maneuver. Works could examine authority, climate change, or redirection—potentially merging all three concepts. Selected pieces will be displayed from June 14 to July 11, 2025.

Nexus Artspace, in collaboration with i.e. Art Projects Online Art Foundation is launching an international virtual artist residency themed "Invisible Connection."
They invite artists from diverse disciplines and mediums to explore the intricate and multifaceted nature of connection.
This residency encourages participants to delve into the concept of Invisible Connections—the unseen bonds that link people, places, emotions, and ideas across time and space.
Through this theme, artists are inspired to creatively investigate the invisible forces that shape relationships, shared histories, and collective consciousness, offering a fresh perspective on how these intangible connections influence present lives .

The Big Gay Art Show is a much anticipated, well attended exhibition open to all artists in any medium and of any level. In 2012, the Big Gay Art Show was conceptualized by a small group – some connected to SAC and others in the Sedona Pride organization. The event began as an effort to offer the LGBTQ+ community a voice in the local art scene. Since that first show, SAC has welcomed hundreds of emerging and professional artists to Sedona to share their work throughout the history of the event. All art mediums will be accepted.

The rite is understood as a recurrent practice, conducted with seriousness and commitment through a prescribed procedure that gives it validity. This call is open to works related to ritual practices that testify to its wider functions, from sacred to social ones, and from the family-biographical to psychological and introspective ones.

Museology is a call for art that invites an exercise in strategic thinking for an artist's legacy or as a means for advancing recognition or individual fine art practice. The call has an emphasis on sculpture, metal casting specifically. All mediums are welcome for submissions as 2d work will be apart of the exhibition. With sculpture getting a fair shake accepted sculpture works will to be exhibited on the floor, pedestals, wall mounted or on shelves mounted to a wall (the latter type work must include the shelf and have an invisible concealed mount). Entries that hang from a ceiling will also be considered. The call for submissions extends to all mediums.
