East Quay is pleased to offer a 6-week residency to a South West based artist in their sought-after Studio 10 Project Space. They are accepting applications from artists working in all mediums.‍ Studio 10 Project Space helps them build connections with the local community through introducing their audiences to new mediums, artworks, and wider contemporary practice. It provides them with the space to platform emerging and underrepresented artists as part of their wider exhibition programme and encourages open conversations about different ways of creating and experiencing art.

Currently seeking 2025 Visiting Artists! Sloss Furnaces Foundation hosts three, 8-week Visiting Artists throughout the year, typically in the Summer (June-Aug) and Fall (Sept-Nov). This program is designed for artists interested in developing their studio practice and honing technical skills. Visiting Artists will be provided with a furnished apartment near Sloss Furnaces, casting materials, and 24-hour studio access in Sloss' historic casting shed. Visiting Artists are expected to have a final exhibition at The 600 at the conclusion of their residency. The majority of the work is to be displayed for up to a year, with the option to sell throughout the exhibition. Artists are expected to donate one piece from their residency to Sloss Furnaces' permanent collection.

The [r.e. award 2025] is an exhibition-based art award designed to support diverse artistic practices and creators, encouraging experimental and boundary-pushing projects. They invite artists to position themselves within a "three-point perspective," with their current location as one of the observation points, alongside ASP and hazi. By reconsidering borders—both conceptual and physical—they hope this award will serve as a catalyst for new artistic expressions that extend beyond personal and geographical boundaries. Artists receive a residency opportunity of approximately one month at either ASP, hazi, or both, providing space for research, experimentation, and artistic production. At the end of the residency artists will have the opportunity to make some kind of presentation, such as an exhibition or workshop.

Nested in the heart of a dynamic city, Tirana Art Residency – Vila 31 x Art Explora aims to support contemporary creation in all its forms, within a transdisciplinary and transgenerational perspective. Opened in January 2025, Vila 31 x Art Explora runs a dynamic cultural programme in collaboration with local stakeholders, institutions, schools, and associations, including exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, discussions, and festivals open to all. Each resident benefits from: A 3 months residency in Vila 31, in Tirana, a studio-apartment (only one double bed), fully equipped and furnished, a grant of 800 euros per month, a production grant of up to 1,500 euros, and a round trip to the residence.

Building on the legacy of previous iterations, Jaipur Art Week Edition 5.0 launches an Open Call, inviting artists and creatives to share innovative proposals for new work that will encourage meaningful and open dialogue and collaboration. Selected artists will be given the opportunity to showcase their work in a group exhibition or as solo interventions across partner venues throughout Jaipur. The applicant's proposal can respond to one of the venues listed on the site, otherwise their team will support the artist through the curatorial process to find the right fit for their work.

This exhibition seeks to merge Afrocentrism—a worldview that recenters people of African descent in historical, cultural, and artistic narratives—with eclecticism, an approach that embraces diverse influences, styles, and mediums. Inspired by Molefi Asante’s philosophy of reclaiming African diasporic identity, this exhibition creates a space for BIPOC artists to explore, celebrate, and challenge perceptions of Blackness across time, space, and artistic expression. Artists working in all mediums are invited to submit works that reflect the depth and multiplicity of Black diasporic identities—seen and unseen, shared and personal, historical and futuristic. This exhibition encourages a dialogue on how Blackness is experienced, imagined, and expressed across different cultural landscapes.

DVAA is now accepting applications for our 2025 Fellowship program. Inspired by the vision of DVAA’s founders to provide a creative refuge for marginalized artists, the DVAA Fellowship Program was created in 2018 to better serve the DVAA Membership and the arts communities of Philadelphia. In 2021, DVAA expanded their Fellowship by adding a Studio Residency program. This program was created to support underrepresented artists from a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and experience levels at pivotal stages in the development of their artistic practices. Each Resident receives one month of 24/7 studio access in the residency space at DVAA, support from the DVAA staff throughout their residency year, and a year of professional development opportunities alongside the rest of the Fellowship and Residency Cohort. Must be Over 18 and planning to live in the greater Philadelphia region during the full year of the program.

In this grant program, the Jonathan and Barbara Silver Foundation’s goal is to encourage and support sculptors as well as writers on sculpture, both emerging and established.

The JBSF offers one $20,000 grant per year.

The JBSF grant program operates on a 2-year cycle with alternating grants that support writing in even years and sculpture in odd years. Applications are now open for the sculpture grant. The next writing grant application will be available in 2026.

Funds will go toward creating a work or a body of work that is essential to the artist’s development and a contribution to sculpture as a field.

The sculpture grant is specifically for an artist who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to sculpture that includes an informed and imaginative engagement with its materials, histories, and situation.

The writing grant is specifically for a writer who generates fresh writing and thinking on the history, aesthetics, purposes, imagination or situation of sculpture.

The grant recipient is expected to complete the project within one year of receiving the award.

The Olympic Heritage | Artists in Residence programme provides artists with a unique experience and unparalleled access to museum collections, mentorship, expert support and resources to create innovative, boundary-pushing digital art inspired by Olympic history.
Two artists will be selected by an esteemed and prestigious international jury for a two-month residency. The resulting artworks and artists’ digital diaries (films) will be selected and accessioned into the permanent collections of QOSM (Doha residency) and the Olympic Museum (Swiss residency), as part of a growing body of Olympic art in each institution.

The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! The 8th Annual PROUD+ Exhibition will be held July 3 - August 2, 2025, during San Diego Pride Month, showcasing the work of LGBTQ+ artists from across the country. Produced by The Studio Door, this national exhibition celebrates the unique perspectives and voices of the LGBTQ+ community through contemporary art. For nearly a decade, PROUD+ has provided a vital platform for LGBTQ+ artists to express their creativity, identity, and lived experiences. From bold declarations of self to quiet explorations of inner worlds, this exhibition seeks to highlight the richness and diversity of LGBTQ+ life and culture. Artists are invited to submit works that reflect their own interpretations of pride, resilience, and community.

Miniature art is fine art on a small scale, with minute attention to detail, which can be enlarged or withstand close inspection without revealing faults. Non-representational work such as abstracts may meet the spirit of a miniature if all other factors in the definition of a miniature are met. 3D art is welcome. Digital art and photography is not accepted for this show.

Fusion Art announces the Figures & Faces 2025 Art Competition.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography depicting the human form - both figures & faces.

A to Z Wineworks, located at their REX HILL property in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, seeks an Artist in Residence for a term beginning in Fall 2025 with a harvest experience and ending in Fall 2026.

The A to Z Artist in Residence immersion program follows the natural cycle of a vintage from pre-harvest through bottling, observing and participating in the art of winemaking. The artist begins as a paid harvest intern. After harvest, the Artist in Residence works on their individual art while remaining involved in the life of the winery as the wine moves from grapes to glass. The residency concludes with a public showcase of some of the artist’s work through a gallery showing, lecture, reading and/or performance.

Inspired by the Hands Off movement, Kehler Liddell Gallery invites you to express yourself through art. A community comes together through art. Let it all out on canvas, paper, stone, metal, photography, and more. Hands OFF – Hands On Art will be a juried exhibition of small works to be shown at Kehler Liddell Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut taking place in Summer 2025. There will be an opening reception July 13, 2025 from 2-5pm with an opportunity for artist discussion in additional to regularly held events and open hours at KLG.

Sculpture in the Valley submissions now open, closing 1 June. $25K+ in prizes. Arts in the Valley is a community organisation, umbrella for three types of events conducted in the historic village of Kangaroo Valley – music, Visual Arts and Sculpture in the Valley. It typically shows off some large-scale and thrilling sculptures viewed against a scenic backdrop. Small scale works are also on show, this time within a re-purposed heritage cow shed. There is a competition with non-acquisitive prizes. The sculptures are available for sale and: “yes, commissions occur”. Sculpture in the Valley 2025 will be held again on private acreage. Two adjoining properties have been chosen and they sit alongside Barrengarry Creek with marvellous views of the soaring sandstone escarpments for which the valley is known.

The Working Artist Project (WAP) is a year-long fellowship program facilitated by The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA). The program was created by MOCA GA to champion established visual artists of merit who are based in the Atlanta metropolitan region. Each year, a guest curator selects three of our best and brightest to receive a solo exhibition, promotion, a studio apprentice (in support of emerging artists in the Atlanta Community), a full-color catalogue, and a $15,000 stipend to create work over the course of the year.

This is for an upcoming call for artists to attend Farm Studio in January and February 2026. Farm Studio International Artist Residency is located in a rural community in India. Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. There, collaboration and experimentation is encouraged. Relationships form between the artists coming from different countries and varied social, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. Many exciting exchanges and dialogues among artists take place, including scheduled artist talks, presentations, works in progress showings, exhibitions, etc. Farm Studio also promotes and celebrates the local community’s artistic and cultural identity while also introducing art and culture of others’ (Indian and International guests) back to the community.

Our River: Mississippi Muse is a juried exhibition sponsored by Friends of the Mississippi River in partnership with F-O-K Creatives. Artists whose work relates to the river are invited to submit. A portion of all artwork sales will be contributed to Friends of the Mississippi River.

The Larch Creative Fund, in conjunction with the Spruill Center for the Arts, is seeking project proposals for innovative projects that encourage creative and critical thinking through the arts, with a focus on having fun and encouraging community participation and related activities. A total funding of $50,000 in grants will be awarded to artists or organizations. Grant funding amounts will be awarded commensurate with the project scope and impact, in amounts determined at the discretion of the jury committee.

/rəˈzɪst(ə)n(t)s/ a juried call for photography that represents, express or documents resistance, seen or unseen. Open to all photo-based work with no limit on subject matter or technique. Entries will be judged individually. They are looking to assemble a gallery exhibition, to explore, express and document resistance. Beyond the requirement that light was captured somewhere in the process of making of your work, there are no limits to the type of resistance you choose to represent.

Kinhouse seeks to support emerging and mid-career artists with their meaningful opportunity to facilitate their own art exhibition in Kinhouse's space! They welcome proposals for solo or small group exhibitions, collaborations, artist collectives or groups, performances, installations, and site-specific artwork. Exhibitions will be considered for their 2026 programming year and they will select between 2-6 proposals. Each selected exhibition proposal will be awarded a stipend of $250 for the artist(s) to use at their discretion. Curators are also welcome to submit proposals for the space! Proposals are never final but they consider strong proposals to have a clear vision, statement, compelling visuals and consideration towards diversity and inclusion.

Heartland Art Club is proud to announce RepreSENSATIONAL 2025, a national exhibition celebrating the finest in representational art from across the United States. The Town of Windsor invites sculptors to submit applications for the inaugural season of the SoL of Windsor, Sculpture on Loan Program, located on the west end of scenic Windsor Lake. The works selected for this public art exhibition will be on loan to the Town for a period of twelve (12) months and must be available for sale on commission during that time.

c.r.e.t.a. rome organizes artist residencies for periods of 4 weeks in the spring, summer and fall. The 2024/25 residencies include a shared equipped studio, some technical assistance, access to several electric kilns, advice on museums, galleries and sites in Rome and beyond. The residency fee does not include accommodation. A second residency site in the countryside of Rome is a particularly good option for collaborative projects and/or artists who want to bring their spouses/companions and/or young family (supplemental fee). Housing is included. Residents have a private studio and one-bedroom house. For ceramic artists, there is access to electric and gas kilns, with options for reduction firing. 

Business for the Arts Broward (BFA) is partnering with Florida Purchasing Agency on a mural mentorship for their building. The mural mentorship project in Lauderdale by the Sea, FL aims to create a vibrant and visually striking mural under the guidance of Lead Artist Lori Pratico in partnership with BFA, funded by Wayne and Lucretia Weiner, Florida Purchasing Agency and BBX Capital. Lori Pratico brings over 30 years of experience and creativity to the initiative. This collaborative endeavor will involve five mentee artists, providing them with the opportunity to build their mural skills and gain valuable insights into the process of creating murals. Throughout the project, the mentees will work closely with Lori Pratico, their mentor, participating in brainstorming sessions, design development, and the execution of the mural itself.

The City of Subiaco is seeking artists creating functional or utilitarian public artwork. This might be lighting, seating, shade, art utilising living plants – or any artwork serving both a practical and aesthetic use. It is important the artwork be robust, able to endure outdoors long term in WA’s high UV, windy conditions. The City of Subiaco is undertaking a number of laneway upgrades in the coming years and would like to identify a pool of artists who may wish to collaborate with their landscape designers and staff on relevant projects as they arise. They are open to working with artists based nationally, where budget allows.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR A LANDMARK SCULPTURE AT COVINGTON CENTRAL RIVERFRONT. The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center (Carnegie) and The Center for Great Neighborhoods (CGN) seek proposals for a new landmark public art installation to anchor Covington’s newest development, a 500-million-dollar mixed-use project in the heart of the downtown riverfront area. The Covington Central Riverfront (CCR) site, a 23 acre site that was once home to an IRS processing facility, is being transformed into a neighborhood with a restored street grid, office, residential, retail, and public spaces. Preference will be given to Artists living or working in Covington, surrounding areas, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, or with strong ties to the region.
