This exhibition will take place in L'appartement 49C, an artist-run salon-style gallery founded by Steffie Chau in New York. "Fragments In Our Home" explores the idea of home as a collage—woven together from transient experiences, personal rituals, and the small, often overlooked details that shape the sense of place. This exhibition invites artists whose work engages with memory, materiality, and impermanence. Artists must be based in New York City, surrounding areas, or be able to transport the art themselves.

MidPen Housing is seeking a Bay Area artist or artist team to create an original mural that pays homage to the legacy of Ira D. Hall, the building’s namesake. They are not looking for traditional illustration or documentation of this individual’s life, but rather an artist who can tap into the energy and interpret through imagery. Ira D. Hall embodied a life of public service, a variety of careers, as well as a deep interest in art. The artwork spans two floors of the building’s east façade and is visible from the street for cars or pedestrians. The purpose of including this mural in the architectural design is to infuse the building and neighborhood with the inspiring history and sense of style of this influential individual, Ira D Hall.

All Connections to Unley Art Prize invites South Australian artists, of all ages and career stages, to create artworks on their personal connection to the City of Unley. Artists are invited to consider their real or perceived connection to the City of Unley. Works may represent, be an interpretation of, or be inspired by, currently or historically, the Unley area, its people and places. A major prize of $5,000 is on offer to the overall winner, with an Elected Members Choice Award of $500 to be awarded to the finalist selected by the City of Unley’s Elected Members. This exhibition examines how peace is never guaranteed—it is negotiated, upheld, and sometimes broken. Artwork submitted should engage in the conversation of the complicated nature of peace. The call for art is open to any artist 18 years or older living in the United States. All art in any medium, style, and technique will be considered. Art must be original. The juror is Daniel Esquivia Zapata and $600 will be given in prizes.

City of Lynnwood, WA is looking for up to 4 artists, or artist teams to create 4 sets of murals at the jail in our Community Justice Center (CJC). Selected artists/teams will design and paint the murals. They encourage artists with their own or a love one’s lived experience related to the justice system, to apply. The Lynnwood jail is a new, 86-bed facility that serves as a misdemeanor-only detention center, offering advanced technology and space for both staff and inmates. This facility is designed to ensure humane treatment and support for inmates, while maintaining the safety and security of the community and corrections personnel.

The city of Aurora, CO is seeking a sculpture/art installation that will bring together the many voices of Aurora in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the state of Colorado (the Centennial State) and the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Within Colorado this event is called the Sesquisemiquincentennial. It culminates on July 4, 2026, with events continuing through the end of 2026. Beyond the many temporary events, this public artwork in Aurora will provide a lasting perspective on this significant moment in time.

The City of Westminster’s Sculpture on Loan Program provides memorable outdoor art experiences in Historic Westminster and Downtown Westminster. The Vicky Bunsen Sculpture Garden, located in Historic Westminster, is a community jewel that contributes to the cultural identity of the Historic Westminster Arts District. The Downtown Westminster Art Walk is a new feature of the downtown area and provides a walkable experience that connects with the city's Fuse Box Art Gallery and other art installations in the downtown area.

Holyoke Paper Festival is a celebration of arts and culture recognizing the historic significance of Holyoke, MA as The Paper City. HPF will hold a one-day exhibition of fine art and feature tours, workshops, and more.

Artists making work in, on, about, or of paper are encouraged to submit 1-3 works that highlight the significance and possibilities of paper. Proposals for workshops, talks, etc. are also open

This exhibition is open to any media. Artists must be over 18, not currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, and reside in the U.S.

All work must be original. Collaborations are accepted. Any media is accepted, though should strongly related to the theme.

The artist will be paid $3,425 for the design of each mural, for a total of up to $27,400 for all eight murals. This payment is inclusive of all artist’s fees. The selected artist shall receive one-half of the honorarium upon execution of contract. The second half of the honorarium shall be disbursed after the murals have been approved by the subcommittee. The goal of the project is to add eight murals that are artistically interesting and family-friendly. The subcommittee seeks digital designs that are original and that complement the overarching theme of this project.

The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum invites submissions to its 50th annual juried Birds in Art exhibition. Birds in Art has showcased the remarkable talents of more than 1,100 international artists since 1976 and is recognized globally as the exhibition setting the standard for avian art. The Woodson Art Museum again invites artists working in all mediums excluding photography and documentary to submit original two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and time-based media artworks for jury consideration for Birds in Art 2025, the milestone 50th annual exhibition, on view September 6, 2025 through January 4, 2026.

Each summer Rochester Contemporary Art Center’s 6x6 exhibition brings together thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international & local artists, designers, youth and YOU. Each artist may enter up to four artworks of any medium except glitter (2D or 3D). Artworks must be six inches square (15cm) and signed only on the back, to be exhibited anonymously. Participation is free. All artworks will be exhibited and for sale to the public for $20 each to benefit RoCo. Artists’ names will be revealed to the buyer upon purchase and all artworks remain on display through the end of the exhibition on July 20.

The Nightingale Gallery of Eastern Oregon University in La Grande invites submissions from artists living and working in the Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and northern California). All disciplines (with the exception of film/video and performance) are welcome. The gallery hosts a variety of programming focused on contemporary art by professional artists from the Northwest. Exhibitors are responsible for shipping their work to and from the gallery, but stipends may be provided to artist who agree to visit campus and present a public talk about their work and do critiques with art students.

The Hambidge Center is situated on 600 forested acres in the mountains of north Georgia and offers miles of nature trails, meadows, waterfalls, a swimming hole and an abundance of wildflowers. The oldest residency program in the Southeast, Hambidge provides a self-directed program that honors the creative process and trusts individuals to know what they need to cultivate their talent, whether it’s to work and produce, to think, to experiment or to rejuvenate. Residents’ time is their own; there are no workshops, critiques, nor required activities. Each resident is given their own private studio which provides work and living space with a bathroom and full kitchen. The studios are designed to protect residents’ time, space and solitude.

Twelve winning images will be professionally printed, matted, and framed at no cost to the photographer. Each print will be displayed and offered for sale for one month at the gallery between June 2025 and May 2026. Your winning photographs will be promoted on ViewPoint's website, newsletter, and social media channels. The Anonymous Was A Woman Environmental Art Grants (AWAW EAG) provides grants of up to $20,000 to environmental art projects led by women-identifying artists in the United States and US Territories.

The Quiet Atelier announces an open call for artists to submit works inspired by water, the ocean, and nautical life. This group exhibition invites original artworks in any medium, exploring the theme of water through physical, cultural, environmental, or metaphorical perspectives.

The Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf awards residency fellowships to artists and writers. The residency fellowship lasts for three months and is granted for the periods March to May, June to August, and September to November. In addition to room and board at Schloss Wiepersdorf, all fellows also receive a monthly cash stipend of €1200 and a one-time grant of €480 to cover material expenses. German or English proficiency is required of all applicants. Basic German language skills would be helpful for a successful residence.

The City of Pompano Beach will commission an artist/artist team for a work for hire project for the design and installation of a mural located on the east exterior wall at 1591 E. Atlantic Blvd. The mural should depict themes of Pompano Beach and the surrounding area including ideas like fishing, boating, beaches, and sunny blue skies. The wall is approximately 1450 square feet.

The City of Pompano Beach is looking to commission an artist/artist team for a work for hire project to design and fabricate a sculpture that will be displayed at the beach for a one year. After a year, it will be submerged into the ocean and attached to Lady Luck in Shipwreck Park. It will be the selected artist’s responsibility to work with South Florida Diving Headquarters to sink and attach the sculpture.

All fiber mediums are welcome. They encourage 2 or 3 dimensional fiber works and wearable art. The only size limitation is that the work needs to be able to fit through a 7’ by 7’ gallery door. Their experienced installation team can install your piece with any method with your clearly written instructions.

This exhibition is part of GPAA's Promising Artists program designed to give current high school students and recent alumni of the program the opportunity to showcase their work and experience the process of participating in a professional, juried exhibition.

Alla Prima or ‘all at once’ is generally a wet-in-wet, direct painting approach that has been used by countless artists. Still life is an ideal genre for this approach because it allows artists to learn to control all the elements —the objects, environment, and lightning. Oil color is the quintessential choice for all prima painting (as it stays ‘open’ much longer), but acrylic, watercolor, and gouache are acceptable. Open to all levels.

Each class will include short lectures, demonstrations and lessons based on harmonic composition, color contrasts, and paint handling. There will also be instructional review of each students work. A materials list will be supplied at registration. Philip will be painting and demonstrating the alla prima techniques in oil color.

The Summer Youth Apprenticeship was founded on the importance of passing on the history of Sloss and the many techniques and traditions of metal art. This paid, 8 week program, employs 10-15 high school students, aged 16-19, to work and study under professional artists for 30 hours per week. Students are introduced to a variety of processes and techniques in an interactive, individualized environment. While being introduced to new techniques, the apprentices will create an array of work from tiles and medallions to bookends and light switch covers to be sold in the Sloss Museum Store in support of the program. For their final projects, they will submit a professional proposal and maquette and spend the final 2 weeks executing their final sculpture.
