The Wassaic Project accepts proposals for our 2025 Summer Residency program (June – September). Since its inception in 1975, The Harding Art Show has become one of the largest and most profitable fine art exhibitions in the Southeastern United States. On May 1-3, 2025, Harding Academy will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Harding Art Show.
The Harding Art Show is Harding Academy’s single largest fundraising event, and it attracts over 5,000 visitors to our campus in Nashville, TN over a 3-day period. The weekend includes festive 21+ events as well as a designated Family Day and is always free to attend. Works available for purchase include fine art paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry, and more. Pieces are offered at all price ranges, so there is something for everyone!

The MSU Museum CoLab Studio invites bold and innovative proposals for our upcoming exhibition, “Blurred Realities.” This exhibition and public programming series will delve into contemporary questions that challenge our perception and understanding of what is real and authentic. In an era of new and evolving technology, “Blurred Realities” seeks to explore real and surrogate objects and media, authenticity and deception, and information and disinformation. With the rise of 3D-printed materials, generative AI, deep fakes, synthetic voices, and simulated realities, how do we distinguish between authentic information and deceptive fabrications?

The Dresher Ensemble Artist Residency (D.E.A.R.) was established in 2012 to support Northern California artists actively exploring new aesthetic premises and pushing the boundaries of conventional art forms and media. The program provides artists free studio space and up-to-date equipment to create new work in time-based arts such as theater/performance, dance/movement, music/sound art/instrument invention, and collaborative and interdisciplinary work. D.E.A.R. grants up to six awards annually to individual artists or groups of artists collaborating on a single project. The lead artist must be a Northern California resident and not a student at the time of the application and residency.

Water-based pigments on paper must constitute the major portion of the work. Entries composed of paper constructions, paper sculpture, paper collage, cut paper, mobiles, or two or three-dimensional wall pieces, and installations are eligible. Artists are urged to enter work that is innovative in concept and approach, whether representational or abstract. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months. Work that has been previously displayed at TCA is not eligible. All work must be the original creation of the artist.

Alaska Native visual artists living in the United States are welcome to apply. Artists may use existing work in their application but are strongly encouraged to develop new work for this opportunity. Applications will be reviewed by a committee made up of museum staff and artist professionals. Selections will be based primarily on the quality of the work presented, but also on the artist’s record of professional activity (artist’s resume) and their exhibition proposal (letter of intent). Three artists will be selected for solo exhibitions to take place from February through mid-April of 2026, February through mid-April of 2027, and February through mid-April of 2028. Selected artists will be announced in December 2024.

As part of Troy Main Street’s 2025 Sculptures on the Square event, artists are invited to submit letters of interest including: a short bio about themselves and headshot, sculpture details and history, and qualifications for outdoor sculpture artwork. The theme of “Sow & Grow” has been selected for the 2025 event. Sculptors are welcome to freely interpret the theme in their submissions. Proposals must fit artist's interpretation of the theme to be considered. Artists with more than one sculpture fitting this theme are strongly encouraged to apply!
