Artists worldwide are invited to submit entries for a juried art exhibition taking place November 7-30, 2025, at Real Círculo de la Amistad in Córdoba, Spain. Over €29,000 in cash awards and €16,000 in products and prizes will be distributed. The jury includes Peter Trippi, Bryan Mark Taylor, Jeremy Lipking, and Amaya Gurpide, among others. Eligible works must be original, with the artist holding exclusive copyright. Accepted styles include Realism, Figurative Art, Hyperrealism, Photorealism, Contemporary and Imaginative Realism, Surrealism, Impressionism, and Plein Air. Photography, digital media, reproductions, or altered prints are not permitted. Artworks not available for sale are ineligible for acquisition awards.

This exhibition explores all forms of Love, a powerful force in people's lives. Artists are invited to present their visual interpretations including romantic and selfless love, erotic pleasure, young or mature love, unrequited love, jealous love, self love, and even love beyond death. In addition, artists can consider platonic affection shared by friends during the phases of an intense relationship, parents' adoration and loving care of children (and vice versa), and devotion to animals as they offer profound emotional comfort. Pictorial symbols and imagery associated with love and passion -- such as hearts, cupids, roses, etc. -- can also be submitted. These are fascinating because they vary with cultural evolution and location.

Bodies and Borders: Ecologies of Consent investigates the intersection of bodies, ecology, and agency through the lens of permeability and protection. Drawing from Elvia Wilk’s assertion that health hinges on the regulation of what enters and exits the body's borders, this exhibition explores how consent is navigated/ within biological, political, and ecological systems. Women Eco Artists Dialog (WEAD) in partnership with The 109 Gallery invites work that addresses the ethics of bodily autonomy, the fluidity of borders, and challenges rigid classifications of self and other. The exhibition invites viewers to consider how bodies; human, animal, vegetal, and microbial, are sites of negotiation, resistance, and transformation in an era of ecological precarity. Submission is free to WEAD members whose annual dues are paid by June 30. For artists who are not WEAD members, the submission fee is $45, which includes a year's membership to WEAD, and is also due June 30, 2025.

The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! “The Gap Between Art and Life,” is a competitive, southeastern regional exhibition organized by the Webber Gallery of the College of Central Florida. Open to all forms of installation art, the exhibition will present a display of multiple installation works by selected artists. “The Gap Between Art and Life,” will be on view from September 1 – October 16, 2025. The minimal entrance fee covers the online submission process. The jury panel for this exhibition will be composed of former Appleton Museum of Art Curator Leslie Hammond and Current Appleton Assistant Director Victoria Billig, who will be determining what artworks are selected for display in this show, in consultation with the Webber Gallery staff and College of Central Florida Art Faculty.

The Soon Art Studio Artist Residency Program in Vienna, Austria, is designed to support both emerging and established artists by providing them with a dedicated space to create and showcase their work. Artists can choose from 2, 3, or 4-week residencies, during which they will have the opportunity to focus on their artistic practice in an inspiring environment. The residencies range from 2 weeks (€650), 3 weeks (€850), and 4 weeks (€1250). Each residency will require the artists to secure their spot by signing our residency agreement and a deposit of €200.

Now in its 6th year, Poolside is a popular juried exhibit with a call to artists for 2D and 3D original artwork with "swimming pool(s)" as part of the subject or the main subject and not exceed 40 inches finished or famed in any orientation. (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography). This is an open call to to artists for an exhibit in August, opening with a gallery reception on Saturday August 9th at their Key West, Florida location and at Jag's online gallery. Accepted artwork must be for sale and Jag Gallery will assist with pricing determination upon request.

The Water and Rock Art House is in the beautiful and historical stone, mountain village of Kazaviti on the island of Thasos in the North Aegean in Greece. The residency is open to artists, writers, researchers and scientists who work with the themes of nature as well as to yoga practioners who want to work on their self practice. They want to bring awareness to the beauty and importance of the fauna and flora of the island in an aim to build a greater sense of interdependence. They are also keen to create community and involve the creative residents where possible in local projects to improve the village.

Street Photography takes many forms and this call looks to provide an updated look at this exciting and often challenging form of photography. This is a chance to explore the world today, to present a largely unscripted reaction to what you see, what you experience and what captures your attention. They want to see the world from your perspective, from what’s outside your front door to what’s happening Downtown and everything in-between. They are looking to celebrate the chance encounters, the random incidents and the challenge of capturing meaningful images without the preplanning or cooperation of models. Work from photographers engaged in long-term projects, and exploring social documentary projects are also welcome.

The Art in Public Places program enriches New Mexico's public spaces through an innovative and diverse art collection. Since its inception in 1986, the program has placed more than 2,500 artworks in all of New Mexico's 33 counties. Their goal is to reflect the diversity of the arts in New Mexico, the Southwest, and the nation while building a dynamic public art collection for the State of New Mexico. The objective of the Large-Scale Purchase Initiative is to diversify the state's public art collection by purchasing artwork from artists at all stages of their career. All media in all genres, suitable for both interior and exterior display, will be considered. Artwork must be durable, permanent, low-maintenance, and in compliance with ADA guidelines upon installation.

Wells Art Contemporary (WAC) is an international competition showcasing innovative visual art across all genres. Established in 2012 and open to artists worldwide, WAC offers a unique opportunity to exhibit in the magnificent setting of Wells Cathedral. This beautiful space welcomes 18,000 monthly visitors and offers an inspiring welcome to all artists, regardless of creed, with its pale stone, ethereal light and soaring architecture. The 2025 exhibition will run from 8 October to 1 November 2025. The RAi Residency returns for its second edition — a 12-week programme designed to support artists, curators, and theorists in developing their practice within a studio environment. The residency offers a chance to connect, collaborate, and expand one’s oeuvre through engagement with local communities and institutions. RAi hosts four residents at a time: three artists and one curator or theorist. Emerging artists, curators, and theorists aged 25–40 working in the visual arts, including digital, traditional, new media, video, and photography.

Fusion Art announces the Lines, Shapes & Objects 2025 Art Competition.

Since 2022, Sedona Arts Center has determined an overarching theme for each year’s exhibits and programs. For the 2025-2026 season, the theme will be FACE. When thinking of the word, FACE, people think of many things. The word FACE can be a noun or a verb and connotes many things. People first think of a person or animal’s actual face – that shows expression or emotion. It could also be the outward aspect of something or the surface or an object, cliff or mountain, building or watch. As a verb, the word takes on motion – as to face something or point in a specific direction or to confront or deal with a situation.

Hotel ACTUAL will be a small-scale contemporary art fair in which the rooms of a hotel will be transformed into exhibition spaces, each one intervened by selected artists. The initiative, part of the ACTUAL 2026 Festival programme, aims to open a space for the art market in La Rioja by offering a platform where artistic creation, innovation, and dialogue with the public converge. The Illuminations Grant for Black Trans Women Visual Artists is an annual $10,000 grant awarded to provide critical support to Black trans women whose work has often been under-recognized in the visual art field. Now in its 5th year, the Illuminations Grant was developed and named in partnership with Mariette Pathy Allen, Aaryn Lang, and Serena Jara. Winning artists and finalists will receive additional professional development resources and further guidance to bolster their creative development in the field.

VisArts invites applications and proposals from local, national, and international artists for one of two six-month residencies at their studios in Rockville, Maryland. Studio space is provided free of charge. Artists receive a $3,000 stipend. Gibbs Street Artists in Residence present their work in culminating solo exhibitions. Each year, VisArts’ Gibbs Street Artist Residency provides a unique opportunity for two dynamic individual artists or collaborative artist teams to create a new body of work, evolve an existing body of work, or develop a project in a stimulating, supportive environment over a period of six months.

Blue Space Gallery presents the 4th "Open Theme" international competition and virtual exhibition. The City of Flagstaff is seeking statements of qualifications (“SOQs”) from artists or artist teams to create a 3D artwork to be installed in the center of the Switzer Canyon roundabout located at the intersection of N. Switzer Canyon Drive and N. Turquoise Drive. The City of Flagstaff, through its Beautification and Public Art Commission (BPAC), advocates for the beautification, arts and sciences in Flagstaff and supports this project. This is an opportunity to contextualize, design, fabricate and install artwork within the project scope. An initial design services contract will be offered to the selected artist. Once City of Flagstaff approvals are met and all design documents created, the selected artist will be offered a second contract for fabrication and installation of the artwork.

The FAC Open Exhibition is a call out for submissions by Victorian artists across all visual art mediums to share stories through their artwork or to explore why they create and what inspires their creative process. The theme 'stories' is open to broad artistic interpretation.

Art Ability is dedicated to creating community awareness of cognitive and physical disabilities, encouraging people with disabilities to reach beyond their limitations and find fulfillment and inspiration through art. Art Ability provides positive role models for people with disabilities while increasing their access to the arts. The program successfully develops new markets for artists with disabilities where they can gain recognition for their technical skill and artistic vision. The annual exhibit and sale will be on display at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, Pennsylvania, from November 9, 2025 to February 1, 2026 and will be open to the public during the hospital's visiting hours. The event will kick off with a ticketed preview party and fundraising dinner on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Open to all U.S. artists 18 years of age or older working in any media. Work must be original work, executed within the past three years, and entry cannot be work that has previously been exhibited at Wilson Arts. Entry in this exhibit establishes an agreement on the part of the artist to all conditions listed in the prospectus and is a contract to exhibit entries selected by the juror.

The residency program is aimed at artists from Baden-Württemberg and offers them the opportunity to integrate into new artistic communities and present their work to a wider audience in Namibia. For 2026, the program will award two six-month residency grants from February to July in Windhoek to artists from Baden-Württemberg. The residency will give two artists the opportunity to travel to Namibia together and mentor each other during the residency. In return, two artists from Namibia will have the opportunity to travel to Baden-Württemberg for six months in 2026. These residency grants will be announced in a separate call for applications. The program organizes events such as readings, exhibitions, panel discussions, and workshops to disseminate the results of the residency to a wider audience in Namibia. Applicants are free to choose the thematic focus of their project.
