The MSU Museum CoLab Studio invites bold and innovative proposals for their upcoming exhibition, Singularity. This exhibition and public programming series unravels the enigmatic and transformative concept of the technological singularity, a point in time which artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence, leading to rapid technological growth and unpredictable change in human civilization. Specifically, this exhibition will examine the singularity through the following subthemes: 1. Humanity Redefined, 2. Artificial Minds, Creative Souls, 3. Democracy through an Algorithmic Lens. Through these lenses, the exhibition aims to illuminate the myriad pathways of society might traverse in the shadow of singularity, prompting profound reflection on the collective destiny. 

Sarratt Gallery at Vanderbilt University is pleased to announce this call for Celebrating American Craft 2025.

This exhibit is open to all professional craft based artists that are 18 years and older and residing in the United States. All work must be original designs from the artist. All craft art made with clay, metals, wood, fiber arts, and glass will be considered. Works may range from functional to sculptural and should be made primarily of one of the craft mediums. The jury panel will be tasked with finding the best examples of each medium and for strengths in techniques as well as creative expression. Invited Artists are responsible for expense of shipping their work to the Gallery and the Gallery will pay return shipping costs. Invited artists may also deliver and pick up their work but this is at their own expense. All works must have been created in the past five years and may be for sale or from collections (NFS).

The Art Center in Dover, New Hampshire, invites artists to submit original sculptures for a juried exhibition celebrating the diversity and creativity of contemporary sculpture. Artists may submit up to three entries, which must be their original designs and available for sale during the exhibition. The Art Center will retain a 30% commission on all works sold.

In partnership with Queen’s Wharf Brisbane, The Royal Queensland Art Society Brisbane Branch is pleased to present the 2025 Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Art Prize. Artists are asked to submit an artwork that reflects what makes Brisbane and its surrounding attractions unique. Tell the story of what you love about Brisbane and your connection to it through your art. All entries must be accompanied by a statement further describing the connection of the artwork to the Greater Brisbane area. The finalist exhibition will open at Petrie Terrace Gallery on Wednesday 3rd September, and will be on display at from Thursday 4th September to Sunday 28th September. Artwork must be 2D and a painting or drawing in any medium. For works using collage or mixed media, the painting or drawing must be the predominant technique displayed.

The Zsuzsi Roboz Scholarship is intended for a committed figurative artist who have a developed artistic vision, but who need assistance or support with the next steps of their career.

The City of Sarasota Public Art Program invites experienced muralists to apply for a public art commission as part of the Florida Legacy Arts Mural Series. This project will result in a large-scale mural on a multi-family residential building at the corner of 10th Street and Osprey Avenue, a prominent intersection adjacent to Gillespie Park and near Sarasota’s downtown core. The mural must reflect the theme of Florida Flora and Fauna, with a focus on local and native bird species found throughout Sarasota. Artists are encouraged to propose original, nature-based designs that may include species such as the Osprey or Monk/Canaday Parakeet, alongside native plant life. The mural should celebrate Sarasota’s natural environment while enhancing the identity of the surrounding neighborhood.

STILL: National Still Life Award is Yarrila Arts and Museum’s national biennial acquisitive art award. Established in 2017, STILL aims to recognise excellence, diversity and innovation in contemporary still life practice while broadening the interpretation of this enduring genre. STILL: National Still Life Award is open to artists at all stages of their practice and working across all mediums, including but not limited to painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video and installation. STILL 2025 has a prize pool of $36,000.

The Lanyon Art Prize 2025 invites artists from the ACT and region to submit works that respond to Lanyon Homestead. Through their response, artists can explore what Lanyon Homestead means within the broader context of Canberra’s past, present and future. The Lanyon Art Prize has a prize pool to the value of $20,000. The purpose of the selected works is to inspire contemporary views and storytelling about Lanyon and its surrounds – its landscape, local and regional context, the First Nations and non-First Nations people who have lived and worked here, tangible and intangible heritage, the collection of objects, and the living heritage of the gardens and its pastoral setting which is still a working farm. Finalist’s works will be exhibited in select locations on the property to create an immersive experience.

Ink Only 5 is a bi-annual juried exhibiton of contemporary prints. Sponsored by PaperWorkers Local, a non-profit artists co-op in Birmingham, AL. This year they are partnering with Birmingham Public Library to bring this exhibit to their 4th Floor Gallery, August 16 -September 13, 2025. Ink Only 5 is open to all printmaking methods with the exception of all digital prints.

When drawing the human figure, artists are in a sense, always drawing themselves as well. Upstream Gallery invites artists working in any medium except photography to submit work focused on the human figure that speaks to the idea of individual identity. All styles ranging from abstract to representational are welcome.

The mural should embody Orlando’s iconic landmarks, culture, and diversity, offering a dynamic and inviting visual experience for travelers. The Calleen Art Award is an annual acquisitive painting prize and exhibition. It presents the best of contemporary Australian painting in any style, theme or subject. The Award was established in 1977 as an acquisitive art prize by Mrs Patricia Fagan OAM to encourage originality, creativity and excellence in the visual arts, and is made possible by the generous support of the Calleen Trust. The Calleen Art Award 2025 is open to artists across Australia and this year’s award prize is $30,000. The winning artwork will join the Calleen Collection at Cowra Regional Art Gallery.

Gosford Regional Gallery is pleased to present the 2025 Gosford Art Prize. This year the prize pool has increased in all categories. The acquisitive Gosford Art Prize winner is awarded $25,000. The Gosford Art Prize started as a community-driven project in 1970 that has grown to become one of the highlights of the exhibition calendar and an important part of the cultural landscape of the Central Coast. The Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) invites artists working in mosaic media to submit applications to Mosaic Arts International (MAI) 2025: Fine Art & Site-Specific Mosaic. Held in conjunction with SAMA’s annual conference, the juried exhibit presents the best in contemporary fine art mosaics from SAMA’s diverse international membership. Fine Art is a segment of the Mosaic Arts International 2025 exhibition series that will be presented at Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens, Polasek Gallery, Winter Park, Florida: August 26 – December 7, 2025.

PAV was formed in 2015 by a group of local citizens and artists to promote and embrace "Art as a part of everyday life." PAV envisioned an outdoor sculpture program to promote a visible aesthetic voice and to supplement the agritourism of Palisade. This year PAV is seeking 8 to 15 sculptures to enhance the sidewalks, the plaza, and for the first time a local winery! With collaboration of the Town of Palisade, Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, art galleries and artists, PAV has grown from four temporary pieces to over fifteen sculptures and has purchased or sold more than a dozen of the exhibited sculptures. They are excited to coordinate our sculpture unveiling and public sculpture walk/talk with Palisade's Sunday Farmers' Market, 32nd Colorado Mountain Winefest, and Palisade's 5th Annual Mountain Arts Festival.

Established in 1997 in memory of the artist Penny Meagher, the emphasis of the Windmill Trust Scholarship is to support visual artists from regional NSW to take up career development and/or presentation opportunities for their work. The Windmill Trust Scholarship supports artists in various career aspects, including independent artistic research or practice, professional development, exhibiting and presenting work in new ways. Financial support encompasses studio rental, materials or labour costs, framing, space rental, promotion, artists’ fees, freight, installation, and documentation.

The City of Tamarac, Florida (City) is seeking to commission an Artist or Artist team to create a vibrant sculpture for the entrance to the City’s Caporella Park’s parking lot entrance located at 5200 Prospect Road, Tamarac, Florida. The sculpture should be vibrant, colorful and impactful to pedestrians and passerby traffic both day and night.

Wells Art Contemporary (WAC) is an international competition showcasing innovative visual art across all genres. Established in 2012 and open to artists worldwide, WAC offers a unique opportunity to exhibit in the magnificent setting of Wells Cathedral. This beautiful space welcomes 18,000 monthly visitors and offers an inspiring welcome to all artists, regardless of creed, with its pale stone, ethereal light and soaring architecture. The 2025 exhibition will run from 8 October to 1 November 2025. The City of Alexandria's Public Art Program is commissioning public art for the northern extension of Potomac Yard Park—a newly constructed city park adjacent to the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus. This initiative aims to introduce compelling, site-specific artwork that reflects the site's context and history, attracting both residents and visitors to the Potomac Yard Innovation District. The goal is to create dramatic, visually engaging, and unique art installations that foster an interactive environment for people of all ages.

The Wyoming Girls’ School hosts approximately 25 students at any given time ranging in age from 12 to 21 years old. The selection committee has identified three potential locations for artwork. One is the 23-foot clerestory that spans the central hall of the building. The second is a large interior wall across from the library space. The final is an exterior location outside the library space where there is a clear line of sight to the interior wall with clear visibility from public areas. Key words for artwork: Powerful, serene/calming, nurturing, uplifting, inspiring, safe/secure, and change/improvement. Representational sculptures, installations, visually expansive/connected works are of particular interest to the committee, though they are open to all possibilities for the space.

In partnership with Pima County, SAACA is seeking a Public Artist or Artist Team to create a site-specific public artwork for the new Northwest Service Center, a vital community resource providing public health and workforce development services. This project, funded through Pima County’s 1% for Public Art program, offers a $175,000 budget for the design and installation of a durable, impactful exterior artwork that reflects the center’s mission of fostering a thriving, healthy, and connected community. Potential artwork locations include landscaped areas, a courtyard west of the building, or the curved concrete wall on the south side of the courtyard. The selected artist will work closely with the Public Art Panel to develop a meaningful piece that enhances the facility’s civic presence along the Miracle Mile corridor. Open to all artists worldwide. The project will begin in 2025 and is expected to be completed within two years.

Artists selected may be highlighted in the library's and Sweet Pea’s social media, promotions and marketing. Submission does not guarantee acceptance into the exhibit, entry fees are non-refundable. All selected art works must be labeled with artist’s name, title, medium and sales price or NFS upon delivery. Sweet Pea’s acceptance of works into the exhibit and prize decisions are final. Awards & cash prizes: First Place: $500, Second Place: $250 and Third Place: $125. An appointed judge will select winners. People's Choice Award. Voting will take place during the course of the Art Show, community members will vote on their favorite piece and the winning artist will receive a $100 prize.

This project, funded through Pima County’s 1% for Public Art program, offers a $35,692 budget to design and install an engaging, durable piece that enhances the library’s outdoor reading porch or surrounding exterior spaces. Artists are encouraged to consider designs that reflect the library’s mission of education, inspiration, and community connection while complementing the character of the park and neighborhood. Open to all artists worldwide. The project will begin in June 2025, with completion anticipated by November 2025.

The Town of Windsor Arts Commission (WAC) is seeking an artist to create a large-scale sculpture to be located at the Town's newly renovated Community Development Building, located at 200 11th Street, in Windsor, Colorado. This site was formerly the Windsor Police Station and is undergoing renovations to become the new home of the Community Development Department, which includes Planning, Engineering, Water Resources, and Economic Development. The sculpture will act as an entryway marker for the new facility and should reflect the departments that are housed there.

“Drawing Resistance: The Artist’s Dilemma in Political Conflict” is a virtual group exhibition that explores the tensions artists face when navigating their creative practice in politically charged environments. The title plays on the dual meaning of “drawing”—as both a visual act and a metaphor for tracing boundaries, beliefs, or courage. They invite women and non-binary artists from around the world to submit work that confronts, reflects on, or challenges political realities—whether global or deeply personal. Submissions may explore war, migration, censorship, social justice, protest, surveillance, gender-based oppression, or the quiet defiance of everyday survival. They are especially interested in works that wrestle with the dilemma of making art in a time of unrest: how to act, what to say, and what it means to resist.

Sustaina India, a first-of-its-kind art x climate change initiative by Thukral and Tagra (T & T) and Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), calls for applications for the third edition of Sustaina India Fellowships. The Fellowship programme will support three creators over six months to realise impact-driven mixed-media and multimedia art projects at the intersection of art, climate science and research. The fellowship will culminate in a 10-14-day-long exhibition in New Delhi in January/February 2026.

The Hortus Residency Program is open to established and emerging artists, botanical artists, or photographers, who are exploring the themes of nature and/or the human connection with nature. Hortus Arboretum & Botanical Garden is an accredited botanical garden and arboretum established by by two artists turned gardeners. The purpose of this residency is to provide opportunities to artists whose work focuses on nature. The residency would allow artists to have constant access to the botanical garden and produce art derived from that experience in a quiet natural setting.

Applications are OPEN for OVAC's next Art Crit Night on August 13th, 2025 at Oklahoma Contemporary in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Participating artists receive a $100 honorarium. Their goal is to support and strengthen the work of every artist that participates, as well as to promote critical dialogue among the community members that attend. All participants must be open to the critique process. The process will include presenting your work, receiving feedback from the curator framed in a spirit of positivity and desire to help you progress in your practice, and receiving comments from the audience as these events will be open to the art community in an effort to increase critical dialogue.
