Salt Lake County (“County”) plans to contract with an artist or artist team to create one or more unique interior artworks that will be installed on the site of the new Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Arts Center (“Arts Center”). Artists or artist-led teams are eligible to apply for all three public art projects, provided they meet the specific qualifications for each. Different selection committees will review and select artists for each project. It is the intent of the County to enter into separate contracts for each separate project (Exterior open to US Artists; Interior open to US Artists; and Interior open to State of Utah Artists) with an artist or artist team for this site. The City of Sunrise, Florida (City) is seeking to commission an Artist or Artist team to create one, possibly two iconic sculptures of significant size and quality to be located at the Flamingo Linear Park with the following locations: (Sculpture 1): Flamingo Road and Panther Parkway and (Sculpture 2): Flamingo Road and Oakland Park Boulevard in Sunrise, Florida. The sculptures should reflect the spirit of Sunrise and be impactful to passerby vehicular traffic both day and night at this high traffic roadway.

The meeting of land and water is a place of transformation—a space where motion and stillness, power and tranquility, exist side by side. The Coastal Landscape is a juried photography exhibition celebrating the diverse character of coastlines, shorelines, and waterscapes.
They’re seeking photographs that capture the beauty, power, and mood of coastal environments—from dramatic waves to quiet shores. All photographic styles, from traditional to experimental, are welcome.

Last Ship is now in Khajuraho, the UNESCO World Heritage site in Madhya Pradesh, and Kalinjar, Uttar Pradesh, India. In the region between Khajuraho and Kalinjar lies the heart of ancient India, in its most rural and undeveloped sites, with temples and archaeological sites that go back from the famous 1,000 year old temples to prehistoric cave shelters. The Last Ship residency program is a one-of-a-kind experience of a history, nature and culture, hidden in the chaos and turmoil of contemporary India, and artists whose development would benefit the most from this experience are selected for the program.

The Woodson Art Museum Artist Residency Program provides space and time for artists to experiment, explore, and produce individually developed or collaborative artwork in any medium. The Artist Residency Program will increase community engagement and accessibility to the visual arts in north central Wisconsin by providing opportunities for artists to share their creative processes through outreach, workshops, and programming. The Artist in Residence program at Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona) offers artists of any discipline the opportunity to work at one of the world's most beautiful sites. In this intermediate/advanced workshop you will sample multiple ways to take your three-dimensional needle felting to the next level. Stephanie Metz incorporates techniques from other sculpture traditions (working in clay, carving stone, and joining metal) to reframe your thinking about needle felting. Her visceral organic sculptures—physically and conceptually both soft and edgy—reference the body as both subject and object. Her process and entire body of work a full of intricacy and intrigue and this workshop is likely to fill quickly.

Cyprus Art Retreat offers an art centric environment that allows established artists to reside and work in a remote environment (away from the busy, crazy world) whilst creating a micro-climate for an inspiring artistic-cultural destination (Cyprus Art Retreat) in Agioi Vavatsinias, Cyprus, is established in a peaceful, serene, country setting – that celebrates and promotes the coming together of artistic endeavor from diverse places and cultures around the world. Ucross strives to provide a respectful, comfortable, and productive environment, freeing artists from the pressures and distractions of daily life. Each year, they provide residencies to approximately 115 individuals. Residencies range from two weeks to six weeks in length. At any one time, there are up to ten individuals in residence, typically four writers, four visual artists, and two composers. Ucross provides each artist with living accommodations, meals, work space, and uninterrupted time so that the artists can focus on their creative process. Residents are responsible for providing their own working materials and for their travel to Sheridan, Wyoming. There is no charge for a residency. The residency program is open to visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, interdisciplinary artists, performance artists, and collaborative teams.

Loghaven Artist Residency’s mission is to serve artists by providing them with a transformative residency experience and continued post-residency support. The residency is located on ninety acres of woodland in Knoxville, Tennessee. Artists live in five historic log cabins that have been both rehabilitated and modernized to create an ideal setting for reflection and work, and they have access to new, purpose-built studio space. All Loghaven Fellows are awarded stipends to support the creation of new work during the residency.

Whitelock Art Center in New York, USA, is issuing a global call for entries for the “2025 New York International Art Competition – The Light from the Other Shore.”
The announcement of award winners and the online exhibition will take place from July 27 to August 27, 2025.

The competition will present the following awards: Grand Exhibition Prize, Gold Prize, Silver Prize, Bronze Prize, and Excellence Award. Winners will be selected by the Academic Committee Jury of the Whitelock Art Center. Salt Lake County plans to contract with an artist or artist team to create one or more unique exterior artworks that will be installed on the site of the new Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Arts Center. In addition, each semi-finalist will be required to present their proposal in person to the Selection Committee on October 14th, 2025. The meeting will take place in Salt Lake City, and each semi-finalist will have up to one hour to present their proposal. Semifinalists will receive a $2,500 honorarium to prepare and present their proposals. This honorarium is inclusive of any expenses incurred for the creation of their proposal, including travel expenses, hotel, shipping, etc.

WIP Lab is seeking proposals for its upcoming residency program in Cyprus. Under the theme “Invisible Waters”, they welcome creative practitioners working at the intersection of art, design, technology and science, to engage with one of the most pressing environmental issues of our region: water. 2-3 months residency (October to December.)

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is home to the Irene Rosenzweig Biennial Juried Exhibition. The New England Regional Juried Exhibition is a juried show featuring the best of representational painting, drawing, and sculpture by regional artists who work in the realist tradition.
