The Nexus Fund is seeking Project Proposals as a part of their participation in the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Arts Regional Regranting Program. The Nexus Fund underwrites artist-driven projects that engage in risk-taking and experimentation, notably those projects that broaden critical discourse and challenge traditional assumptions. They are seeking proposals for projects – particularly those that are multi-disciplinary and collaborative – that provoke social engagement and center the diverse audiences living and working in Metro Atlanta.* The fund will disburse ten (10), $6,000 grants totaling $60,000.

Complete applications will include high-quality photos of work as well as the title, media, dimensions, year, price/value, and short artist description of the work as it relates to the themes of Afrofuturism. Priority may be given to projects that highlight remembrance across cultures. The grant must result in a deliverable product, program, or event that is unique to Lakewood Cemetery. All projects will be presented to the public (how and when projects are presented is to be determined by the artist and Lakewood).

The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards is a major program providing exceptional opportunities for creators and filmmakers. The shortlisted filmmakers are flown to Los Angeles for an exclusive four-day event to gain unparalleled insight into all aspects of the filmmaking process to advance their careers. After the workshop program the filmmakers will attend an awards ceremony at Sony Pictures Studios.

The Town of Ashland’s Public Art Commission invites artists to submit existing outdoor sculptures for consideration for the 2026 “Art in Orbit” on-loan sculpture program. This rotating public art initiative brings dynamic, engaging sculptures to the heart of their community. Selected pieces will be prominently displayed in high-traffic areas, ensuring significant exposure to both residents and visitors. The artwork will be located throughout Ashland’s downtown and locations selected by Town staff.

The Alexander Brest Gallery at Jacksonville University (Jacksonville, FL) is seeking exhibition proposals for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. The 2300 square foot gallery space welcomes proposals for 2D, 3D, installation, and video work. Both solo and group exhibition proposals will be considered. The Alexander Brest Gallery, under the direction of Gallery Director Zakriya Rabani, is located at the Linda Berry Stein College of Arts & Sciences on Jacksonville University’s historic campus. JU’s main campus is located in a beautiful riverfront setting in suburban Jacksonville, across the St. Johns River from downtown and just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. The 240-acre campus includes a half-mile of riverfront, oak-lined paths, and a mix of historic and new campus buildings.

Artists working in all mediums are invited to apply for place-based, immersive artist residencies that connect art, community, and Montana’s diverse landscapes. This year’s CALL FOR ARTISTS offers 13 residency site opportunities across the state—from remote wilderness areas to historic cultural landmarks—artists are provided time, space, and resources to create and engage with local communities. Blue Sky, Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts, is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Pacific Northwest Drawers. Photographic artists based in Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington are welcome to apply. There is no application fee to enter. Since 2007, with the establishment of the Pacific Northwest Drawers (PNW Drawers) program, Blue Sky has been showcasing the diverse photography coming out of the region. Annually, photographers from the Pacific Northwest are selected by an outside jury to exhibit 10 prints in accessible drawers for a year. The role of the juror is to determine from the submissions the strongest and the most evocative work representing a wide range of styles, subject matter, themes, and photographic processes.

Located in the heart of the arts district of Northeast Minneapolis, the bakery and cafe invites visual artists’ responses to the question, “What does warmth mean to you?” At the intersection between literal heat generated from our bakery ovens and café espresso machine steam wands and the friction emanating from political discourse and issues of justice is the center point for our show’s curation. Playful. Charged. Practical. Electric. What is aflame within you? Where is heat rising in your creative world this winter season? They welcome your artistic responses! This show opens January 9 and will hang for 10 weeks. The Cafe will host an opening night party Friday, January 9, from 5:30–8 PM, with guest DJ Megan O and Cafe Marguerite poet-in-residence, Sara Dovre Wudali. Wine, beer, cocktails and food will be available for sale. All artists will receive a drink ticket. There will be an artist talk at 6pm.

Threshold Gallery is seeking emerging or established artists for the upcoming 2026 exhibit season. The season includes four seven-week exhibit periods open to individual or collaborative artists. Visual artists and collaborative visual teams of no more than three members are eligible to apply. Threshold Gallery was established by Mithun in 2008 to connect people with art, artists and the built environment, as well as to inspire and drive our work as designers. It is a multi-level gallery space located within the lobby of Seattle’s historic Pier 56.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces the 15th Annual “All Women” Online Art Competition.

Artists of all disciplines creating in any media are welcome to apply. Farm Studio International Artist Residency is located in a rural community in India. Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Farm Studio residency provides three types of working spaces where artists can explore their art and ideas in the rural Rajasthani environment; at the Farm Studio indoor studios, the outdoor desert and farm environments, and in Andore Village. Collaboration and experimentation is encouraged. Relationships form between the artists coming from different countries and varied social, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. Belgrade Art Studio brings its quirky formula of contemporary art and a warm, homey ambience to the Serbian capital. The studio opened during 2011 in a 19th-century listed building in Belgrade’s historic neighborhood of Dorćol. It provides artists with an environment to take themselves out of their daily routines, find new inspiration, conduct research and create new work. The ability to work uninterrupted for hours, days, weeks in a quiet studio. These are just a few of the reasons why so many world’s visual artists, curators, writers come to Belgrade Art Studio each year. Typically, their artists find they accomplish more in a matter of weeks at Belgrade Art Studio than they can in a year at home. It’s all about the work – art.

The Creative Center in Stöðvarfjörður, established in 2011 within a 2800 m² repurposed former fish factory, marks a transition from its industrial origins to becoming a focal point of culture and innovation in the region. This unique opportunity provides a one-month, self-led residency for creatives of any discipline, whether they are based locally, nationally, or internationally. The Live/Work studio offers a private, fully contained, versatile workspace designed to provide uninterrupted time for focusing solely on your practice in a peaceful and inspiring location.

The Black Artists Grant (BAG) is a no-strings-attached financial support initiative by Creative Debuts aimed at assisting Black artists in the UK. Recognizing the systemic under-support of Black artists within the art world, this grant provides recipients with £500 to use as they see fit, whether for artistic development or personal needs. The grant is awarded monthly, with recipients selected from ongoing applications. There is no age limit, and the grant does not require any specific outcomes or reporting.

The Mentorship Residency Program at Indigo Arts Alliance in Portland, Maine, brings together artists from diverse backgrounds of the African Diaspora to engage in their creative processes while building lasting relationships rooted in co-mentorship. The program pairs a National or International artist with a Local/Regional artist to foster rich conversations, collaborations, and exchanges of experiences, knowledge, and technical skills. Artists are encouraged to work independently but are expected to dedicate 8–10 hours weekly to joint activities, including community engagement and collaborative projects. The residency provides 24-hour access to a flexible 3,000-square-foot community studio equipped for various disciplines. Visiting Artists are provided with private housing within walking distance of the studio.

Breck Create’s Artist-in-Residence program offers artists across all disciplines the opportunity to focus on their creative process while engaging meaningfully with the local community. Residencies span 2 to 4 months, during which artists reside in a live/work studio within the Breckenridge Arts District, an intimate campus of historic structures nestled under majestic snow-capped peaks in cozy downtown Breckenridge. During the school year, artists serve as guest instructors in Summit County schools, providing support and supplemental curriculum to teachers. In the summertime, artists identify and collaborate with a community partner or organization on educational programs. Artists are expected to facilitate two weekly open studios on campus, instruct weekly lessons in schools and on campus, participate in on-campus public events, and collaborate with a community partner. Priority is given to artists with teaching experience.

Apapacho is PROArtes México’s arts residency and studio space in the heart of Mexico City. This international program of art-based residencies has been launched to provide space and time for artists, curators, art historians, etc, to research and network in one of the most historically and culturally profound cities in the world. As an artist founded and operated space, we strive to provide an increasingly diverse group of guests an affordable international arts residency experience. As the name ‘Apapacho’ reflects, our interest is in developing a thoughtful and caring interaction unique to each resident’s curiosities, needs, and area of focus. The Olepangi Artist-in-Residence Programme is designed to create a space where people and communities come together to share and learn; and for the artist, to create an exceptional experience for those seeking the time and mental space to investigate new ideas and deepen artistic inquiry. They are open to thinkers and creatives and will consider anyone with deep interest and already well-developed skill in visual arts, writing, culinary arts, composers, musicians, scholars, filmmakers, architects and more.

This residence program offers all entering participants a fully furnished room within a communal apartment located on the aqb premises, as well as a studio space catering to the project’s requirements.

Their environment is a unique archipelago. With the National Parks and the Archipelago Sea Biosphere Reserve, frozen seas, light summer nights, rich birdlife as well as amazing star nights – this place has something to offer around the year: Outer archipelago or the nearby wild forest lake, the seaside is straight outside AARK, passing ships.

AARK can offer a quiet retreat as well as a more social setting depending on the artist’s needs and other art professionals visiting. They organize a weekly informal meeting in the residency. Travel and working plans, questions, dinners and sauna … or just some coffee together.

The Ano Asites Artists Residency is the sister residency to the Lakkos Artists Residency in Heraklion city. The Lakkos Artists Residency has been running since 2015. After a request from some of the locals in Ano Asites village a new residency was started. The project started in 2019 and hopes over time to create an artistic community based in the village.

The Residency @ Greywood Arts is an artist-run space in our iconic 3-story Georgian house located in the centre of Killeagh, a vibrant modern Irish village. The Dissour River runs alongside the residency, and the the ancient Irish woodland Glenbower is just a short walk upstream. The house and garden are also home to Greywood’s Artistic Director, Jessica Bonenfant, her husband Hughie Coogan, and a menagerie of dogs, cats, chickens and goats. The Coach House, Greywood Arts CLG’s not-for-profit creative hub with studios, art classroom and event space is adjacent to the residency.
