The State of Kansas seeks proposals from qualified artists or teams to design, fabricate, and install large-scale public artworks for the newly reconstructed Docking State Office Building in Topeka. Two projects are available: a sculptural interpretation of the American bison and an aerial installation representing Kansas skies. Each work should reflect Kansas's unique character and spirit, engaging viewers through creativity and artistic excellence.

The Foundation wishes to encourage artists who have dedicated their lives to developing their art, regardless of their level of commercial success. This program was conceived in order to recognize and support the serious, fully-committed artist. 20 grants are awarded each year. Applications are reviewed by a panel of five professionals in the arts who have no affiliation with the Foundation. Please note that these grants are available only to individual painters, sculptors, and printmakers who have worked in a mature phase of art for 20 years or more.

Monson Arts’ residency program supports emerging and established artists and writers by providing them time and space to devote to their creative practices. During each of our 2-week and 4-week programs throughout the year, a cohort of 5 artists and 5 writers are invited to immerse themselves in small town life at the edge of Maine’s North Woods and focus intensely on their work within a creative and inspiring environment. They receive a private studio, private bedroom in shared housing, all meals, and $500 stipend ($250 for 2-week programs).

The South Arts Southern Prize and State Fellowships acknowledge, support, and celebrate the highest quality artistic work being created in the American South. The program is open to individual artists living in the South Arts region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. South Arts is committed to practices and funding that create greater cultural equity, represent the diversity of artistic expression of the US southern region, are inclusive of diverse voices and artistic expression, and are accessible to everyone. The Emmanuel College Art Department offers a six-week artist residency to four artists each summer. The residency supports a diverse group of artists, providing uninterrupted time and space for established and emerging artists to develop their work.   
 
The Art Department specifically aims to award a residency to one individual from each of the four categories: ceramics, photography, printmaking and social practice. They strive to foster a supportive environment so artists have the opportunity to achieve their creative and artistic goals. The residency also plays an important role in advancing the visual arts on the Emmanuel campus, making contemporary art accessible to students, staff, and faculty. 

The Island Press Artist Research Fellowship is a biennial residency open to artists who are in any stage of their career, who are under-recognized, and whose voices reveal significant potential. Paramount to the review of each proposal is an assessment of the quality of the artistic work. Island Press welcomes the opportunity to support projects that embody diverse perspectives. Candidates are asked to submit project proposals for a one-week residency at Island Press to conduct practice-based research in print media and/or multiples. The fellowship results in artifacts that stem from the artist’s proposal including, but not limited to, the creation and edition of fine art prints, with the expectation that ideas and projects evolve through experimentation and making during the residency.

For centuries the skill of recording scenery, subjects, and historical events through hand-crafted artworks were relied upon by society to understand the imagery associated with the civilized and uncivilized world around them. That skill evolved over time as devoted artists strived to depict their images as closely as possible to the real thing, setting new standards for artists that would last forever. Art Scene West wants to celebrate this genre of Realism and the contemporary masters who carry on that tradition.

Bethany Presbyterian Church seeks Seattle-area-based BIPOC, Latine, and AAPI artists to create artwork that communicates solidarity with the BIPOC, Latine, and AAPI communities at this juncture in history and their belief that cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity, expression, and reconciliation are central to human flourishing. The finished piece will be for temporary outdoor or outward-facing display on the church grounds. It need not be religious in nature.

They are open to a wide variety of visual media. This commission is intended to generate new, publicly visible work. Prior projects include video projections, 2-D & 3-D window hangings and displays, murals, and free-standing sculptures on their large, flat lawn on Queen Anne Ave.

The Elephant Trust aims to support artists and small organizations in the fine arts by providing grants to facilitate the creation and exhibition of new work. Priority is given to imaginative proposals that may not easily secure funding from other sources. Applicants are encouraged to leverage these grants to obtain additional funding from organizations such as the Arts Council.

Montello Foundation is a foundation dedicated to supporting artists who foster their understanding of nature, its fragility and the need to protect it.
The Montello Foundation provides a solitary retreat where artists can experience the vastness of a desert landscape from a safe building, a “base camp,” a unique space for inspiration and creation, a place that provides a shield from distractions in the solitude of the desert.

“The Places We Go” is an exhibition organized by the Alabama Women’s Caucus for art (ALWCA). This exhibition was created for a location where people may be spending hours, days, weeks, or even months confined to unfamiliar spaces. The Don Bachardy Fellowship at the Royal Drawing School enables a gifted and dedicated post-graduate artist from outside the United Kingdom to join the Royal Drawing School during the Summer Term each year. The fellowship gives one artist the opportunity to join London’s vibrant art scene, with the School’s Shoreditch campus and artists' studios located in the heart of East London’s art, design and fashion scene.

The next Don Bachardy Fellowship will take place during the Royal Drawing School Summer Term 28 April – 5 July 2025. The Don Bachardy Fellow will spend 3 full days per week for ten weeks, drawing alongside postgraduate students studying on the Royal Drawing School's MA level programme, The Drawing Year.

To assist with travel and accommodation costs, the Don Bachardy Fellow will be awarded a $5,000 stipend.

Blue Space Gallery - “Ephemeral Now”, an international competition and virtual exhibition. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, in collaboration with Historic Cane Hill, Inc. and the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, invites artists to participate in the 2025 Arkansas State Quail and Turkey Stamp Art Competition. Artists are encouraged to submit original designs featuring the northern bobwhite quail or eastern wild turkey within their natural Arkansas habitats. The Sculpture Center is seeking applicants for its 2026 Revealed Emerging Artist Series. This program offers early-career artists the opportunity to create work for a solo exhibition. Eligible artists should be in the first ten years of their career and have a connection to the greater Ohio region. Montresso* Art Foundation’s residency at Jardin Rouge is open to visual artists (drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography).
