Cafe Tissardmine is a situated in a remote village in the Moroccan Sahara. The recognise the need for artists to recharge, share ideas, be inspired and to find a place to breathe. They run 6 – 7 residencies per year for a maximum of nine artists with this idea in mind. The residency is not project based or requiring specific engagement or outcome but it is a place to find peace and new ideas. Artists from all disciplines are welcome to apply.
A Residency at Cafe Tissardmine is also an opportunity to discover the richness of the Berber culture; their way of life, cooking and crafts.

The artwork will refresh the pool’s exterior and reflect today’s Crib Point community — its people, stories, and sense of place. Fusion Art announces the Light & Shadow 2025 Art Competition.

For this competition, both 2D & 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best artwork depicting light and shadow. Whether color or black and white, the artwork should focus on the dramatic placement and effects of light and shadow over the canvas or through the lens.

The Arroscia Residency an artist run, 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation open to all emerging and mid-career artists who’s focus is on one or more of the following disciplines: painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, fiber art, photography, installations, and/or mixed media work.

"Resolution" is a resolve, decision, or determination. With the New Year, one typically make resolutions and sets goals. As an example, one may resolve to spend more time in nature. The theme is flexible and can be interpreted in different ways, which is up to you as the artist. Your artist statement needs to state how your artwork relates to the theme, and your statement will be displayed with the artwork.

This is an invitation for artists, cultural workers who are descendants of the African Diaspora to apply for resources to support periodic facilitated spaces that support Black inquiry, multi-valent learning and expansion. Black Spatial Relics is a convening space for and supporter of Black radical performance, community care, collective research and transformative gathering. Founded in 2016, Black Spatial Relics has championed new performance work about slavery, justice and freedom through its residency, microgrant and convening programs. As a continuation of that work, Black Spatial Relics team is excited to launch its new flagship program - Conjure Council Funds.

The Small Sculpture Residency is a professional development opportunity to incubate new projects during a 3-month residency on site. These projects can be presented publicly at Gasworks Art Park in the future, but it is not a requirement of the residency. The residency will enable the development of studio practice, collaboration and creative exchange, in addition to mentoring and career guidance from the Visual Arts Manager at Gasworks. The studio space on offer will accommodate an individual artist in a shared building with 3 other full time professional artists in separate studios.

The Material Works Art Award supports artists through a one-time $2500.00 grant in exchange for an original artwork that will join their growing contemporary art collection. This award recognizes artistic excellence and aims to promote career advancement through increasing visibility and exposure.

They are currently accepting applications from artists with contemporary art practices. Visual artists working worldwide in painting, photography, installation, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, mixed-media, experimental, and conceptual art are eligible to apply. Join Fiber Art Now’s celebration of color. Artists are invited to present their most creative and colorful art. All submissions must include a fiber material or textile technique. Hera Gallery is looking for 52 selections of visual art that speak to invisible job descriptions most often designated to those assigned female at birth. Alchemy Art Center hosts a seasonal artist residency program on San Juan Island, WA for artists working in the mediums of ceramics, printmaking, fiber art, or darkroom photography. Alchemy’s AIR program is a unique opportunity to live in an immersive arts community on San Juan Island, connect with the wider SJI community via teaching and outreach activities, and have focused time to create art in an environment that supports collaboration, cross-pollination, and innovation. Artists-in-Residence are encouraged to work in all of Alchemy’s focus areas (regardless of their area of expertise), and experiment with mediums they may not have tried before.

The House hosts the Envelope Art Contest every year in honor of Edward Gorey’s prodigious legacy of envelope art. It is a tradition beloved by House staff and patrons alike — and deeply feared by their local postal workers.

The South Arts Southern Prize and State Fellowships acknowledge, support, and celebrate the highest quality artistic work being created in the American South. The program is open to individual artists living in the South Arts region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The cohort of nine-state fellows will be selected through a two-tiered selection process by a national jury. A second national jury will select the Southern Prize Winner and Finalist. Jurors will make their selections based on artistic excellence that reflects and represents the array of artistic expression of the region. Innovate Grant awards (2) $1,800.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition, (12) honorable mentions (6 in art and 6 in photo), will be featured on their website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Innovate Grant's commitment extends beyond the grant cycle by promoting the work of selected winners and honorable mentions into the future.

Innovate Grant supports artists and photographers through quarterly grants. They've simplified the grant process, so that artists and photographers can focus on making their innovative work. The work should speak for itself and their application reflects that.

Sitar Arts Center invites artists to submit original artwork for the 16th Annual Patricia Sitar Juried Exhibition: “Belonging.”

At people's core, all long to belong—to feel connected, understood, and accepted. “Belonging” explores the places, people, and moments that make them feel rooted, and the journeys people take to find them. It invites reflection on identity, home, community, and the bold (or quiet) ways people seek to be part of something greater than themselves.

This theme holds space for stories of inclusion and exclusion, of searching and finding, of creating a sense of belonging where it didn’t exist before. Whether fleeting or lifelong, shared or solitary, belonging shapes who people are and how they move through the world.

Oglebay Institute's Stifel Fine Arts Center, in partnership with historic Bethany College, will host a national exhibition of collegiate ceramic art in February and March 2026. This exhibit will celebrate and honor the college ceramic artist and run in conjunction with Earth & Fire 2026. The juror will be Earth & Fire 2025 best in show artist Ruth Douzinas.

The International Artist Residency Pedvale is now officially accepting applicants for their 2026 Spring Residency programme. The Anderson Center’s Winter Retreat program is a short-term residency during the organization’s off-season for artists and writers seeking concentrated creative time for reflection and the advancement of their personal artistic goals. A Winter Retreat at the Anderson Center is a fee-based opportunity for up to four artists at a time to live in community and fellowship while working on their own projects in the inspiring setting of the historic Tower View Estate.

The Arts Division of Lane Community College is pleased to announce a call to artists for the Jane King Artist Residency program during the 2026-2027 academic year. The residency invites dynamic and engaging artists from all disciplines to spend a few days to a few months on campus collaborating with students and faculty. This residency offers a unique opportunity for artists to immerse themselves in a vibrant academic environment, engage with a diverse student body, and contribute to the rich cultural landscape of Lane Community College and the greater Eugene community. The Jane King Lane Community College Artist Residency is designed to foster reciprocal learning and creative exchange.

All The Small Things: A Small Works Exhibition invites South Jersey artists 18 years and older to submit up to three artwork sample work images that can be translated onto a 10 inch x 10 inch cradled wooden panel. Eligible media includes drawing, painting, collage, photography, watercolor, pastel, hand-pulled prints, mosaic, glass, ceramics, metal, jewelry, and wood. Artists can also submit finished artwork created within the past two years that comply with this 10 inch x10 inch x ⅞" inch cradled wooded panel specified for use in this exhibition.

The Masur Museum of Art began building its collection in 1964 with the very first Juried Competition, when Ida Kohlmeyer, student of Mark Rothko, won first place, and the museum acquired her painting Immanence. Today, the collection houses more than 500 works, including pieces by internationally renowned artists such as Picasso, Renoir, and Rodin. Yet a significant percentage of acquisitions have come directly through the museum’s long history of Juried Competitions. They remain committed to supporting and advancing the work of contemporary artists across the nation through both exhibition and acquisition.
