The University of Reading is seeking Expressions of Interest for the design and delivery of a large-scale mural on the University of Reading’s Whiteknights campus. Spanning approximately 9.5m wide x 3m high, the mural will be painted onto the wall of the University of Reading’s historic Edith Morley building. The mural will celebrate 100 years since the University of Reading was granted a Royal Charter and became a university.

Rupert (Vilnius) and Sonic Acts (Amsterdam) are pleased to announce the open call for the second edition of ALTERLIFE – a joint production and research residency between both cities. The three-month residency is fully funded and split across two periods: April–May 2026 at Rupert in Vilnius, and November 2026 at Sonic Acts in Amsterdam. Artists will present research during each residency, with the final work to be exhibited, possibly as iterations, at Rupert (2026/2027) and the Sonic Acts Biennial (2028).

Bischoff Inn is a 5-Room boutique hotel located in the Appalachian Mountain region of Pennsylvania. They offer one & two week residencies to artists & writers. Their Summer 2025 residency is now looking for artists to attend during the month of September 2025. Artists must submit a short statement about why they'd like to attend and a website or social media account.

Fee is $375 per week to attend, taxes not included. All artists receive their own private room and bathroom, plus studio workspace. Each workspace is a minimum of 500 sq ft.

AMoA BIENNIAL-600 will be an exhibition of artworks selected by a juror from works submitted by artists residing within a 600-mile radius of Amarillo, Texas. The 2025 AMoA BIENNIAL-600 is the eleventh iteration of an ongoing series of juried biennial exhibitions exploring areas of artistic practice, material, and content. Previous Biennial-600 exhibition focuses included Drawing (’05), Clay (‘07), Glass (‘09), Figurative Painting (‘11), Printmaking (‘13), Sculpture (’15), Architecture (’17), Textile/Fiber ('19), Justice-Equality-Race-Identity ('21), and an open call for all media in 2023. This year, the AMoA staff and Board of Trustees are once again excited to offer the museum’s exhibition spaces to artists working across all materials and genres.

AMoA BIENNIAL-600 will be an exhibition of artworks selected by a juror from works submitted by artists residing within a 600-mile radius of Amarillo, Texas. A functional, aesthetically pleasing, eclectic Downtown environment that facilitates business vitality, fosters a sense of community, creates opportunities for engagement and accentuates the identity of the Downtown commercial district is desired. The City of Loveland Water and Power Department is currently working on upgrades to the utility infrastructure beneath the road. The Public Works Department will lead the storm water, roadway, and sidewalk improvements. The project includes the removal of the current roadway and sidewalks, providing an opportunity to redesign downtown. There is strong interest from the community and downtown business owners to see public artwork incorporated throughout the 5 blocks of the project.

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts invites the community to participate in “The Soldier’s Lens,” a curated exhibition showcasing the original perspectives of active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. The exhibition will explore the diverse experiences of military life, from moments of intensity to everyday routines. Chosen submissions will be selected by a panel of judges knowledgeable in art and military service. Selected works will be featured in a group exhibition at FMoPA in November 2025. The project is planned to have multiple phases: online exhibition, live programming, and curriculum. PUAM will commission twenty (20) 8’ x 8’ murals to be curated as follows: Fourteen (14) murals created by selected New England-based artists, up to six (6) murals created by Salem-based artists participating in their Creative Neighbor Program, supported through installation by two artist mentors. Artists are also encouraged to apply as mentors for the Creative Neighbor Program participants. This is a unique opportunity to support local artists while contributing to the collective spirit of PUAM.

In September 2025, London Art Collective will present the large-scale international group exhibition “ArtEvol 2025: Voices from the Undefined” at Saatchi Gallery. The exhibition will focus on emerging artists who are shaping the visionary future of contemporary art, collectively examining the motivations and emotional tensions encapsulated by “Evol,” which signifies “Evolution” in the context of today’s art landscape.

The City of Orlando invites artists to submit qualifications for a public art installation at the Orlando Tennis Centre. The commissioned artwork will celebrate Orlando’s tennis culture and community, reflecting both the sport’s energy and the vibrancy of the surrounding neighborhood. The artwork should serve as a visual landmark for the new Tennis Centre, enhancing the sense of place while complementing the facility’s architecture and purpose.

The Estée Lauder Companies Pink Ribbon Photo Award is the first photographic competition and event dedicated to breast cancer.

For its 14th edition, the competition orientate this year with a deeply human and symbolic theme: “Closer to the Heart”. Photographers are invited to take a subjective look at the disease, by telling a story: the story of Women - or much more rarely, the one of Men - who face this cancer. This has been the the aim of the Estée Lauder Companies Pink Ribbon Photo Award since its beginning in 2012, to encourage the audience for early breast cancer screening.

More than 900,000 people in France face this ordeal, one woman in eight, with an average of more than 60,000 new cases diagnosed every year.

Photo Trouvée Magazine is a contemporary art platform with a focus on vintage found photographs and nostalgia. The Photo Trouvée Artist Residency is a 10 week virtual program led by Juliana Naufel & Twiggy Boyer--founders of Photo Trouvée Magazine-- in which artists are invited to set goals, carve out time for their art practice, focus on a project and connect with like-minded artists from around the world. Only 9 slots will be available and there is an application process to join the Fall 2025 cohort.

KETT Gallery, run by the Ajuokse community in Tartu, Estonia, invites alternative artists to apply for a two-week funded micro-residency in their 45 m² creative gallery space. The residency supports experimentation, DIY spirit, and humour in art. Ideal for those who embrace street art, illustration, comics, or lowbrow aesthetics.

Le Moulin de la Barde is an independent, artist-run residency nestled in a restored 11th-century watermill in the heart of the Périgord Noir, France. Their Fall 2025 program invites artists from all disciplines to immerse themselves in a landscape of deep history, natural beauty, and creative calm. The residency is self-directed and non-prescriptive, offering time and space for research, experimentation, or production. Artists are encouraged to slow down, engage with the unique rhythm of the place, and explore personal or site-responsive work. While the program is primarily focused on individual practice, they welcome exchanges between residents and offer optional opportunities for artist talks or open studio events.

Nexus Artspace, in collaboration with @i.e.artprojects Online Art Foundation, invites applications for the international virtual residency “Unwritten Maps: Belonging Beyond Borders.”
They welcome artists to explore themes of belonging, migration, memory, and cultural intersections, beyond fixed ideas of home or nationality. Participants will chart personal and collective geographies shaped by movement, imagination, and in-between spaces.

The residency includes virtual meetings twice weekly, with a few sessions hosted in the Metaverse via @spatial_io, a platform for creating immersive digital environments, hosting events, and showcasing artwork. Creative Alliance Manitou Springs (CRANE) is selecting an artist to design and produce a monumental sculpture at 134 Manitou Avenue in Manitou Springs. CRANE exists to elevate creatives and support artistic and economic vitality in Manitou Springs. Funding has generously been provided by the Manitou Springs Urban Renewal Authority (MSURA). Installation expected in 2026.

This exhibition celebrates the humble mug as a vessel for more than just drinks. It’s a keeper of secrets, a witness to gossip, a companion in ritual. Whether you’re pouring coffee for comfort or tea for truth, mugs hold the moments that connect humans. “Spillin’ the Tea” invites ceramic artists to submit original, functional mugs or cups that reflect the power of shared moments and meaningful exchanges. Playful, poetic, personal, or provocative—they welcome it all, as long as it’s ceramic and sippable.

The Society of Wildlife Artists (SWLA) invites artists worldwide, aged 18 and over, to submit artwork for the SWLA Annual Exhibition 2025 at Mall Galleries. Selected artists will have their work exhibited at Mall Galleries, London, with potential for sales and commissions.

Artists are encouraged to submit 2D & 3D work that explores the use of patterns within the piece. Within artwork, the concept of patterning can look like the repetition of line, shape, color, or theme, aiding the artist in telling a story through or creating an experience in the work. Patterning is open to any theme or medium, aside from the prohibition on floor or ceiling-hung installations as they are not possible at this time. No video.

This juried exhibition will feature the country's finest quilters and showcase a variety of techniques and designs, from traditional quilting to contemporary art quilts.

The Town of Silverthorne Art Board seeks to commission an artist or team of artists to create an original mural or art installation on Silverthorne’s Recycling Center Fence. The mural should give a nod to the recycling center and sustainability efforts in Silverthorne and feature educational elements about recycling and the connection of recycling to the environment and where everyone lives. The installation could also be a painted mural with three-dimensional elements.
