The City of Albany is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from professional artists with a connection to the Great Southern region for a new public artwork at the Orana Information Bay.

Fusion Art announces the Light & Shadow 2025 Art Competition.

For this competition, both 2D & 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best artwork depicting light and shadow. Whether color or black and white, the artwork should focus on the dramatic placement and effects of light and shadow over the canvas or through the lens.

This is an invitation for artists, cultural workers who are descendants of the African Diaspora to apply for resources to support periodic facilitated spaces that support Black inquiry, multi-valent learning and expansion. Black Spatial Relics is a convening space for and supporter of Black radical performance, community care, collective research and transformative gathering. Founded in 2016, Black Spatial Relics has championed new performance work about slavery, justice and freedom through its residency, microgrant and convening programs. As a continuation of that work, Black Spatial Relics team is excited to launch its new flagship program - Conjure Council Funds.

"Resolution" is a resolve, decision, or determination. With the New Year, one typically make resolutions and sets goals. As an example, one may resolve to spend more time in nature. The theme is flexible and can be interpreted in different ways, which is up to you as the artist. Your artist statement needs to state how your artwork relates to the theme, and your statement will be displayed with the artwork.

This year, the Morgan Conservatory showcases its 14th Annual Juried Exhibition featuring innovative artworks from artists in Northeast Ohio and around the country that highlight paper as a creative medium and active substrate. Artists who utilize handmade paper, printmaking techniques, or artist books are highly encouraged to apply. This year's exhibition is juried by Brittany Gorelick and Lillian Young.

The Material Works Art Award supports artists through a one-time $2500.00 grant in exchange for an original artwork that will join their growing contemporary art collection. This award recognizes artistic excellence and aims to promote career advancement through increasing visibility and exposure.

They are currently accepting applications from artists with contemporary art practices. Visual artists working worldwide in painting, photography, installation, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, mixed-media, experimental, and conceptual art are eligible to apply. Please note that submissions for music, writing/poetry, and time-based media are not being accepted at this time.

The Small Sculpture Residency is a professional development opportunity to incubate new projects during a 3-month residency on site. These projects can be presented publicly at Gasworks Art Park in the future, but it is not a requirement of the residency. The residency will enable the development of studio practice, collaboration and creative exchange, in addition to mentoring and career guidance from the Visual Arts Manager at Gasworks. The studio space on offer will accommodate an individual artist in a shared building with 3 other full time professional artists in separate studios.

Join Fiber Art Now’s celebration of color. Artists are invited to present their most creative and colorful art. All submissions must include a fiber material or textile technique. The print exhibition will be juried by the Fiber Art Now creative team and juried selections will be featured in the spring 2026 issue of Fiber Art Now, and be eligible for an on-site exhibition.

Alchemy Art Center hosts a seasonal artist residency program on San Juan Island, WA for artists working in the mediums of ceramics, printmaking, fiber art, or darkroom photography. Alchemy’s AIR program is a unique opportunity to live in an immersive arts community on San Juan Island, connect with the wider SJI community via teaching and outreach activities, and have focused time to create art in an environment that supports collaboration, cross-pollination, and innovation. Artists-in-Residence are encouraged to work in all of Alchemy’s focus areas (regardless of their area of expertise), and experiment with mediums they may not have tried before.

Hera Gallery is looking for 52 selections of visual art that speak to invisible job descriptions most often designated to those assigned female at birth. LABOR will take place throughout the year of 2026. All selected works will be on virtual display throughout the duration of the exhibition on heragallery.org. The South Arts Southern Prize and State Fellowships acknowledge, support, and celebrate the highest quality artistic work being created in the American South. The program is open to individual artists living in the South Arts region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The cohort of nine-state fellows will be selected through a two-tiered selection process by a national jury. A second national jury will select the Southern Prize Winner and Finalist. Jurors will make their selections based on artistic excellence that reflects and represents the array of artistic expression of the region. This program is open to visual artists in several categories.

Oglebay Institute's Stifel Fine Arts Center, in partnership with historic Bethany College, will host a national exhibition of collegiate ceramic art in February and March 2026. Sitar Arts Center invites artists to submit original artwork for the 16th Annual Patricia Sitar Juried Exhibition: “Belonging.”

At people's core, all long to belong—to feel connected, understood, and accepted. “Belonging” explores the places, people, and moments that make them feel rooted, and the journeys people take to find them. It invites reflection on identity, home, community, and the bold (or quiet) ways people seek to be part of something greater than themselves.

The International Artist Residency Pedvale is now officially accepting applicants for their 2026 Spring Residency programme. They are inviting artists to apply for a 4 weeks long residency in March, April or May. Applications will be selected and 9 artists each month will have the opportunity to work creatively. The group will be formed according to a principle so that representatives of different areas would be included – visual artists, writers, dancers, performance artists. Pedvale Art Park & Artist Residency is located two hours northwest of Riga. The spacious territory of almost 100 hectares at Pedvale Art Park is suitable for leisurely walks, during which you can enjoy both the landscape and the art exhibited in the park.

All The Small Things: A Small Works Exhibition invites South Jersey artists 18 years and older to submit up to three artwork sample work images that can be translated onto a 10 inch x 10 inch cradled wooden panel. Eligible media includes drawing, painting, collage, photography, watercolor, pastel, hand-pulled prints, mosaic, glass, ceramics, metal, jewelry, and wood. Artists can also submit finished artwork created within the past two years that comply with this 10 inch x10 inch x ⅞" inch cradled wooded panel specified for use in this exhibition.
