Subasta benéfica que se llevará a cabo en el Museo del Perfume en el Centro Histórico, con la intención de apoyar tanto al museo como a la Fundación La Nana, que se dedica a la educación para personas que no tienen acceso a esta de manera tradicional.

Los artistas pueden participar con una o más obras, donando desde el 50% al 100% del valor de que adquiera la pieza a través de la venta.

La dirección curatorial la lleva el Dr. Ricardo Camacho, quien analizará las obras para ver si entran a subasta, o venta directa o bien a la modalidad de oferta silenciosa. 

Está programada para el 5 de noviembre del 2025. Es una oportunidad para ser parte de un proyecto institucional y con sensibilidad social.
Cada obra adquirida será una forma de llevar arte a casa y de contribuir a las labores de Casa La Nana y MUPE.

​Casa La Nana trabaja junto a ConArte. A.C., el cual es un organismo de sociedad civil con 20 años de trayectoria dedicado a la transformación social a través de la educación artística. Su labor se enfoca en comunidades periféricas, escuelas públicas y entornos de riesgo, utilizando el arte como herramienta para fomentar una cultura que promueva la equidad y la inclusión. Esta organización está comprometida con la prevención y concientización de la violencia de género, así como casos de feminicidio en México, enfocándose en públicos jóvenes.

Call for Artists: Riverside Arts Center presents Strange, Odd, + Curious, an online exhibition.​ 


As we enter quieter seasons, the Riverside Arts Center is hosting an online exhibition to spark curiosity and awe in our [super]natural world!
We are seeking work that engages with macabre, abstract, or metaphysical concepts. What inspires you to be curious? What questions have you been asking lately? 

This digital exhibition is designed to support artist visibility and aid in the sale of artist work through our website and social media channels.

Artists may submit 1–3 works of art. All artwork will remain in the artist's possession throughout the exhibition. Riverside Arts Center will facilitate sales for participating artists located in Southeastern Michigan and refer purchase inquiries directly to artists outside the region.


A 10% commission applies to sales processed through Riverside Arts Center. There is no fee to submit or participate.

Remembrance: More Than an Art Show - Dia de los Muertos Edition

Description:
This Dia de los Muertos, we're having an art show honoring the lives of lost loved ones - with special consideration given to those murdered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Submissions can range from traditional Dia de los Muertos artwork to more politically engaged pieces dealing with the political climate surrounding immigration and any subsequent loss of life. All media and sizes are encouraged to apply.

Gallery 86 is a Latino-based, multicultural arts organization guided by the values of honesty, fearlessness, and art for its own sake. For more information, visit www.gallery86.org.

Notta Gallery is selecting 10 artists for this year’s Notta Art Wars.




The challenge:


MAKE A "NOTTA SWAN"



Each selected artist will find their own existing painting — thrift-store art, discarded décor, an old landscape, portrait, floral, or other previously created work and transform it into an original Notta Swan.




WHAT IS A NOTTA SWAN?




It should still have a recognizable connection to Lakeland's swan culture, but it should push beyond a traditional depiction into something strange, funny, beautiful, surreal, dark, absurd, or completely unexpected.




Show us what a swan could or couldn't become, show off your wit and cunning.




The found painting should remain part of the story.




THE COMPETITION




10 artists. 10 found paintings. 10 local sponsors.




Each artist will:



  • Find their own painting to transform



  • Receive a $100 artist stipend



  • Be paired with a local sponsor

Re-Issue RFQ City of Gainesville Regional Transit System - Public Art

City of Gainesville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs

The City of Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS), the primary public transportation provider for the City of Gainesville and Alachua County, is seeking qualifications from artists or artist teams to create functional public art for the new Eastside Bus Transfer Facility.
 
Since its establishment as a public entity in 1974, RTS has grown from a small private fleet into a high-capacity urban transit network. Today, it facilitates more than 4.8 million passenger trips annually and is recognized as a national model for university–municipal partnerships.
 
The Gainesville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs (PRCA) Department, in partnership with Art in Public Places Trust (APPT) and RTS, invites professional artists to submit qualifications for this exciting public art opportunity.
 
Through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the City will pre-qualify three (3) or more artists or artist teams to develop site-specific proposals for creatively designed, functional artwork. Selected concepts should integrate artistic expression with infrastructure, enhance the pedestrian experience, and reflect the history, character, and values of the Gainesville community, while meeting all applicable safety and durability requirements.

The opportunity seeks professional artists or artist teams to create functional, site-specific public art integrated into the transit infrastructure. The Bronx Museum AIM Fellowship

Founded in 1980, the AIM Fellowship (formerly known as the “Artist in Marketplace”) is The Bronx Museum’s flagship incubator and career accelerator program for the most promising artists based in NYC. Call for Artists: Seeking artists for The Short List


The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County announces an Open Call to Palm Beach County artists for its upcoming group show The Short List. This exhibition will highlight small works of art in all media as an opportunity for collectors of all types to start or add to a collection. The Cultural Council welcomes visual artists residing in Palm Beach County to submit their artwork for the exhibition opening on March 12th, 2027. 

Artists working in all styles and media (2D & 3D) are welcome to apply. Suggested categories include collage, abstract, whimsical, flora and fauna, and food. 



All works should be “tiny” or no greater than 12 inches framed in their longest dimension. There is no minimum size.



Artists will be accepted on a rolling basis limited to 150 participants.


 Artists may apply with up to three completed individual artworks to be considered for inclusion in The Short List. Please do not apply with sets of artworks (diptych, triptych, etc.) Artwork can complement other artwork, but each must be priced and sold separately. 


When choosing artwork for The Short List, keep in mind that the Cultural Council will be promoting the show as a great opportunity to buy unique, Palm Beach County-based original work, so a price range at or below $500 would be appropriate and will result in higher sales. We will not exclude higher priced works, but the most common price range is $75 - $300.

The Winter 2027 Editorial Cover Selection recognizes a single work that will serve as the cover for an upcoming 'Vintage' issue of the Pennsylvania Journal of Arts and Sciences.

Works are considered for their ability to function as a strong, self-contained image, with particular attention to composition, clarity, and visual presence. The selection process prioritizes work that holds impact both at full scale and in reproduction, maintaining integrity across formats.

The chosen artist is featured prominently on the issue’s cover and included in accompanying editorial materials; this includes but is not limited to spotlight interviews, prominent social media promotion, and a feature in the magazine newsletter. Finalists are selected for publication within the issue.

The winter season can be a busy time, but being an artists in residence at The Ou is a call to slow down and turn inward with your practice. The forests have gone quiet as they drink up the rains, but the air is fresh with evergreen cedar boughs, pine and fir.

A gorgeous container for your creative rest and renewal, The Ou Gallery’s studios and accommodations have been thoughtfully appointed and kitted out, so that all that’s left for you to focus on is you and your work. Maybe that looks like learning how to nap again. Maybe it looks like staring out at the trees and watching squirrel acrobatics while the heron fishes below. Maybe it looks like long, uninterrupted studio hours.

Located on gorgeous Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada, The Ou Gallery is located in a a 100 year-old boat-building workshop in the Quwut’sun Valley (the Warmland) and overlooks a year-round creek fed from Mount Swuq’us.

16th Annual International Juried Exhibition at Gallery 110

Gallery 110

Since 2011, Gallery 110’s annual juried exhibition has showcased work by emerging and established artists, with pieces chosen by a prominent juror with ties to the artistic community of the Pacific Northwest. Our nonprofit gallery's location and reputation offer artists exposure to professional reviews, access to Seattle’s Pioneer Square Creative District, and participation in the First Thursday Art Walk, which averages 1,000+ visitors per month.



Gallery 110 invites emerging and established artists to submit original artwork in any two- or three-dimensional media for consideration for the 16th Annual International Juried Exhibition. This is an OPEN CALL.

FEES: The basic entry fee is $40, which allows you to upload images of up to 3 works. Add $10 for each additional image you wish to show the juror, up to 10 images total. Payment must be in US dollars. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Our nonprofit organization's aim is to be accessible to a broad range of artists. Entry fees are crucial to this annual exhibition's funding; however, if the application fee causes a financial hardship, please contact [email protected]. 



NOTIFICATIONS: Finalists will be notified by email & phone and will need to return signed, dated, and scanned consignment agreements within 7 days of notification. Artists whose work has been selected will be responsible for the framing and delivery of work to Gallery 110 by the morning of Sunday, January 31st, 2027. Shipping, delivery, and return instructions will be provided with the acceptance notification. Delivery and return shipping charges are the artist’s responsibility, and prepaid return shipping labels must accompany works.

  • November 1- November 31, 2026: Juror review and selection period. 


  • December 1 - December 15, 2026:  Call admin period. You may be contacted in this timeframe if we have questions about your entry.

  • December 23, 2026:  Selected finalists submit signed loan agreements, hi-res images of selected work(s), and any final updates to their application files (bio, statement, CV). 


  • January 20-23 and January 27-30, 2027 (Wednesday – Saturday, Noon-5 pm only). Drop-off and/or shipped artwork delivery period.


  • January 30, 2027 (Saturday): Deadline for receipt of shipped artwork.


  • January 31, 2027 (Sunday), 10 am: Deadline for receipt of hand-delivered artwork.


  • February 4, 2027: Seattle’s First Thursday Art Walk. 


  • February 5, 2027 (Friday): Artist Reception and Juror’s Awards, 5–7 pm. 


  • February 27, 2027, 5pm: Exhibition closes.

October Salon Art Prize

PleinAir & Fine Art Connoisseur Magazines

The 16th Annual Salon Art Prize, formerly the PleinAir Salon, is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. They invite a variety of top master artists, museum directors and gallery owners to judge each month. All monthly winners (242) are automatically included in the Annual Competition where the Grand Prize Winners each receive $15,000—one featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine and one on the cover of Fine Art Connoisseur.

In addition to over $65,000 in all cash prizes, winners receive exposure and recognition through their various magazines, websites, newsletters and social media platforms.

Early Bird Registration ends on the 15th. Enter before the deadline to receive 25% off every entry. The regular cost is $40 for the first entry, and just $16 for each additional entry. Artists are welcome to enter as many paintings as they like, in as many categories as they like. There are 19 categories in all.

2027 Artist Residencies at Gladstone House

Gladstone House, built in 1889, is Toronto’s oldest operating hotel. For more than two decades, it has been a hub for art and creativity, with art by local artists in public and spaces and guest rooms. The Art Studio at Gladstone House is a space for creativity and interaction. Located on the Studio Level of the hotel, the Art Studio is a bright, open, 480 square foot room with 3 spaces for resident artists. Since the program launched in 2021, they have hosted more than 50 artists in the studio. Gladstone House invites applications for short-term (3 month) visual art or craft residencies. Residencies are self-directed: the artists work on projects of their own choosing. Work may be tied to a project, including preparation for an exhibition or show/sale, or may be for portfolio/practice development.

A Smith Gallery

Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "animalia". Entries of 13 or more images are eligible for a complementary review by the gallery directors. Artist Trust Fellowship Awards

Artist Trust Fellowship Awards are merit-based awards of $10,000 for practicing professional artists of exceptional talent and ability residing in Washington State. These unrestricted awards are open to artists of all disciplines and are given annually to up to 8 artists in recognition of artistic excellence and dedication to their practice. The awards were first selected in 1987, making it Artist Trust's longest-running award program. The Lucid Art Foundation offers a residency in a retreat-like natural setting in Inverness, California, intended for creative exploration and inquiry into art and consciousness.
