Basin Arts, in partnership with Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG), invites qualified artists or artist teams to submit qualifications for the design and implementation of a large-scale public mural at the University Avenue underpass, 339 N. University Avenue, Lafayette, La 70506. This project seeks to transform a key gateway corridor into a vibrant, welcoming landmark that invites locals and visitors towards vital education and public service institutions along the roadway, including the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Lafayette City Hall, the Lafayette Regional Airport, the Lafayette Police Department, Lafayette Elementary School, Truman Early Childhood Education Center, alongside historic neighborhoods, and a multitude of local businesses from Interstate 10 to Highway 90.

The Arts Division of Lane Community College is pleased to announce a call to artists for the Jane King Artist Residency program during the 2026-2027 academic year. The residency invites dynamic and engaging artists from all disciplines to spend a few days to a few months on campus collaborating with students and faculty. The shortlisted filmmakers are flown to Los Angeles for an exclusive four-day event to gain unparalleled insight into all aspects of the filmmaking process to advance their careers. After the workshop program the filmmakers will attend an awards ceremony at Sony Pictures Studios.

The Town of Ashland’s Public Art Commission invites artists to submit existing outdoor sculptures for consideration for the 2026 “Art in Orbit” on-loan sculpture program. This rotating public art initiative brings dynamic, engaging sculptures to the heart of their community. Selected pieces will be prominently displayed in high-traffic areas, ensuring significant exposure to both residents and visitors. The artwork will be located throughout Ashland’s downtown and locations selected by Town staff.

There are two components of the artwork to be created: 1) a welcoming entryway public art feature and 2) an interpretive sign (artist responsible for sign design only, the City will fabricate and install the sign). The selected artist or artist team will work with City of Issaquah staff to ensure a cohesive design between the overall project and accompanying public art. Art shall require limited maintenance and withstand the area’s climate.

Applications are now open for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027 residencies. Artists working in all mediums are invited to apply for place-based, immersive artist residencies that connect art, community, and Montana’s diverse landscapes. This year’s CALL FOR ARTISTS offers 13 residency site opportunities across the state—from remote wilderness areas to historic cultural landmarks—artists are provided time, space, and resources to create and engage with local communities. Each individual residency provides studio space, housing, a stipend, and resources to support creative exploration of place. The Alexander Brest Gallery at Jacksonville University (Jacksonville, FL) is seeking exhibition proposals for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. The 2300 square foot gallery space welcomes proposals for 2D, 3D, installation, and video work. Both solo and group exhibition proposals will be considered. The Alexander Brest Gallery, under the direction of Gallery Director Zakriya Rabani, is located at the Linda Berry Stein College of Arts & Sciences on Jacksonville University’s historic campus. JU’s main campus is located in a beautiful riverfront setting in suburban Jacksonville, across the St. Johns River from downtown and just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. The 240-acre campus includes a half-mile of riverfront, oak-lined paths, and a mix of historic and new campus buildings.

Blue Sky, Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts, is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Pacific Northwest Drawers. Photographic artists based in Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington are welcome to apply. There is no application fee to enter. Since 2007, with the establishment of the Pacific Northwest Drawers (PNW Drawers) program, Blue Sky has been showcasing the diverse photography coming out of the region. Annually, photographers from the Pacific Northwest are selected by an outside jury to exhibit 10 prints in accessible drawers for a year. The role of the juror is to determine from the submissions the strongest and the most evocative work representing a wide range of styles, subject matter, themes, and photographic processes.

Media artists from around the world can now enter their work to be considered for the 2026 European Media Art Festival. They welcome current works in the categories Film (experimental short and feature films), Installation (installative, interactive, spatial or sculptural media art works), and Expanded (performances, live events, or workshops). You get an exhibition opportunity and fees will be paid to all artists whose work is selected for the festival.

Threshold Gallery is seeking emerging or established artists for the upcoming 2026 exhibit season. The season includes four seven-week exhibit periods open to individual or collaborative artists. Visual artists and collaborative visual teams of no more than three members are eligible to apply. Threshold Gallery was established by Mithun in 2008 to connect people with art, artists and the built environment, as well as to inspire and drive our work as designers. It is a multi-level gallery space located within the lobby of Seattle’s historic Pier 56.

Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Farm Studio residency provides three types of working spaces where artists can explore their art and ideas in the rural Rajasthani environment; at the Farm Studio indoor studios, the outdoor desert and farm environments, and in Andore Village. Collaboration and experimentation is encouraged. Relationships form between the artists coming from different countries and varied social, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. Many exciting exchanges and dialogues among artists take place, including scheduled artist talks, presentations, works in progress showings, etc.

Beam Center seeks design proposals for an ambitious public artwork that will be brought to life through collaborations between youth, Beam Camp staff and the selected proposer. Projects will be realized by a community of more than 100 young people at Beam Camp in July 2026.

Beam Camp is a specialized summer camp for building and collaboration located in Strafford, NH. Their award-winning program offers youth (ages 10-17) the opportunity to cultivate hands-on skills while exploring innovative thinking, design, problem solving and the creative process.

Every year, Beam Camp solicits proposals for unique and spectacular large-scale projects that serve as the centerpiece for the 29-day session of camp.

Tiny Spaces is looking for 6 artists for their 2nd residency programme. The project is based on exploring more sustainable methods for artist residencies. Throughout Summer 2026, artists will travel to Athens, Potsdam or Oulu using slow methods and create site-specific artwork in recycled tiny studios and public spaces. It’s all about process and mobility.

The Gallery at Graphite is seeking proposals for high quality art exhibits for their 760 sq ft gallery space in downtown Edmonds. Curators and established art groups (societies, associations, clubs, leagues, etc.) are encouraged to apply with a proposal.  The Gallery at Graphite is a program of the non-profit organization Art Start Northwest.

The Lakkos Artist Residency is a base for creatives to come and explore an authentic Greece city and a wonderful Greek island. The residency has just relocated to a new location that like the previous one needs a bit of an art injection. It’s a small area in Heraklion’s Old Town that time has not touched.
There are a couple of city beaches within walking distance. There is no obligation to put on a presentation at the end of an artist’s stay but if desired we often have one-night-only shows.

Denver Public Art is seeking to directly purchase multiple existing artworks for the new Lena Archuleta Library in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. This is a unique opportunity for artists to submit existing artworks for consideration of purchase; all artworks selected will become a part of the City of Denver’s public art collection. The goal of the project is to fill the new library with vibrant artworks that honor the beautiful new space and the community it serves.

They are looking for local and regional artists (North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia) to submit pieces to be hung in this newly renovated, high-traffic public space. Every three months the gallery will be filled with new art, chosen by committee. The artists chosen for each time period will be able to display 3 pieces of art. They will have wall space for paintings, and cabinet space for small sculpture, pottery, jewelry, etc. Information about the artists and how to contact them will be displayed by their work.
