Pottery Farm Gallery offers a serene artist residency in the French countryside, accommodating up to five creative practitioners at a time. Residents live and work on a hillside farmhouse with 360° views of rolling hills and the Pyrenees mountain range. The farmhouse features five spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lounges, and a large kitchen with a log fire and heat pump. Artists are responsible for their own equipment, though access to the ceramics studio may be arranged upon special request and availability. The residency is self-funded and self-directed, with durations of up to one month. Applications are accepted year-round.

Their 10th edition of the All About Photo Awards invites photographers from around the world to submit their best work for consideration. In reference to Henri Cartier-Bresson’s photo essay, The Mind’s Eye investigates the depth and thoughts behind each image. Winners will receive $5,000 in cash awards, extensive press coverage and global recognition. The grand prize is $2,500, the 2nd prize is $1,000, the 3rd prize is $750, the 4th prize is $500, and the 5th prize is $250! Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency aims to promote the production and dissemination of Printmaking done in a large format. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, among others. TRAILS invites artists to submit contemporary sculptures to a multi-location interior exhibition, totalling up to 50 finalists. They encourage all artists, established and emerging to participate. Works may be submitted to one of two categories, Large Form and Small Form. Large Form works may be up to a maximum size of 1800mm x 800mm x 800mm, a maximum weight of 30kg. There is no minimum size requirement for Large Form works. Small Form works may be up to a maximum size of 400mm x 300mm x 300mm, a maximum weight of 30kg. TRAILS Sculpture Prize is supported by Committee for Portland.

The SCG ART program brings established artists to Placer County for the purpose of teaching and sharing their artistic talents and experience to the greater community. The program was lovingly established at the Placer Community Foundation (PCF) in memory of a local artist, Susan Cooley Gilliom, by her family. This is a national call for artists to apply for this annual residency opportunity. This residency offers a large studio space, funding for projects, and the opportunity to teach workshops in a formal setting.

Northglenn Arts is conducting an open entry competition to select six sculptures ─ valued at no more than $35,000 each ─ to be part of Northglenn’s “Art on Parade” on-loan outdoor sculpture program. Each of the six finalists will receive a $1,000 honorarium to help offset their expenses. In addition, $1,000 will be awarded to the artist who is the recipient of the annual “People’s Choice Award.” Artists will receive substantial recognition and opportunity to sell; therefore, all pieces must be for sale. The placement of selected pieces will begin in May, 2025 and will be on display until May, 2026.

Car-Free Earth Day transforms NYC streets into active and attractive public spaces with the addition of public art, performances, workshops, and demonstrations. Environmental programming is offered by City agencies and nonprofit organizations along the routes to promote activism and education surrounding climate change, sustainability, and other relevant topics. NYC DOT invites all professional artists to submit proposals for new or existing artwork to be installed at Car-Free Earth Day sites as designated by NYC DOT as a one-day installation. The display structure and attachments must be compliant with the requirements stipulated. The majority of available sites for art installations are concrete sidewalks or asphalt street spaces.

The Local Contemporary Art Prize 2025 is a highly anticipated annual exhibition at Caloundra Regional Gallery, showcasing the breadth of contemporary arts practice from emerging, mid-career and established visual artists residing on the Sunshine Coast. Caloundra Regional Gallery, in partnership with The Gallery’s Friends, invites artists living within the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions and working across all mediums to submit 2D and 3D works for the Local Contemporary Art Prize 2025. The Allianz Foundation is inviting applications for its 2025 Grants Program to support civil society, ecological, cultural, and artistic initiatives. Special emphasis is given to projects intersecting these fields and pursuing systemic transformation. Eligible projects should contribute to Allianz Foundation’s mission of fostering just societies, resilient communities, and climate-neutral futures. They fund projects in the range of EUR 80,000 – 200,000 for a period of up to 24 months, starting from August 1, 2025 at the earliest.

The Graphic Arts Biennale, established in 1999, is a cyclical review/competition presenting the works of young-generation artists working in the area of graphic arts. IMPORT/EXPORT is the theme of the 14th Graphic Arts Biennale, which will take place in Poznań in the spring of 2025. The City of Wilsonville, Oregon is requesting qualifications from talented artist(s) and/or artist team(s) to create a new and engaging public artwork(s) for Boones Ferry Park, a ~15-acre park adjacent to the Willamette River. This park is intended to serve the larger community as well as the local neighborhood. The theme for this Public Art Project is “The Essence of the River.” The Willamette River flows from west to east through town and was historically the site of a ferry and sternwheeler landing. It is desired that the artwork(s) celebrates and pulls inspiration from the river and surrounding natural areas in the park. The artwork(s) should be site-specific and engaging for users of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Artists working in craft/traditional arts, design, literary, media/film, performing, visual, and interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary arts are invited to apply for $500 relief stipends. This opportunity is open to professional artists 18 years or older whose artistic practice generates any portion of their income. This relief stipend is intended for individual artists only. Must currently reside in FEMA disaster areas in Florida (Helene), Florida (Milton), Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.

The South Washington Watershed District (SWWD) seeks a creative fine art aerial photographer and/or aerial videographer to celebrate and document the landscapes, ecosystems, natural resources, and diverse inhabitants that call southern Washington County home. The lengthened term of the artist’s residency is designed to allow exploration throughout the seasons and remove arbitrary timeline limitations from creative project ideas. SWWD is interested in discovering new ways of envisioning, connecting, and valuing its water resources while recognizing different perspectives and ways of knowing. Through this program, SWWD hopes to incorporate unique ideas and views into SWWD programs and projects while promoting and achieving water quality improvement by providing visibility to the watershed and its natural resources.

The Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF) is proudly known as “The First Home to Asian American Cinema.” Organized by Asian CineVision, it’s the first and longest-running festival dedicated to showcasing the moving image work by media artists of Asian descent for and about the Asian diaspora experience. The Festival takes place in New York City, the second-largest Asian American market in the U.S. Every year, AAIFF attracts audiences from all five boroughs of New York City, the tri-state region, and around the world.

This is an immersive drawing retreat for artists keen to experiment with mark and image, create with natural materials, and connect to the experience of drawing within the stunning landscape of Northern New Mexico. The retreat creates the mental space to sit, sense, and create with river, stones, and sky, find good ground, and come away with a body of original artwork directly inspired by place.
The residential retreat takes up drawing in an expanded, embodied sense – some may be compelled by the shape and color of the cliffs, while others draw the sound of wind, flow of the river, or simply feel what it’s like to collect and grind clay into powder pigment to draw the red line of the mesa.

This is not a traditional residency, but is a residential workshop.

The Keyholder Residency Program offers emerging artists free 24-hour access to printmaking facilities to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. Keyholders work independently, in a productive atmosphere alongside other contemporary artists. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended. Basic instruction in printmaking techniques is available for new Keyholders. Applications are evaluated by an invited panel of artists, critics, curators, and art professionals. A total of 8 artists are awarded the residency annually. Artists based in the New York City area and without access to a studio space are encouraged to apply.

They are excited to invite applicants, at any career stage, to apply for a short term ceramic residency program at Mudflat Pottery School in Somerville, MA. This residency program will be offered during a flexible period within the summer months, with the timeframe to be determined by the resident based on their schedule and residency goals. Applicants will propose how they intend to use this residency program; options include, but are not limited to: Developing teaching experience in a workshop format, Developing a solo show hosted Mudflat, Dedicating time to creating a body of work. Mudflat will provide support to candidates to structure the residency to further their artistic career and facilitating mentorship relationships within the area(s) of interest.

Long Meadow Art Residency is a six week – three-month solo residency in the Berkshires. LMAR offers studio space and housing, allowing time for artists to retreat and deepen their practice. The residency provides a $3,000 monthly living stipend, a $2,500 supply budget, as well as access to a vehicle for transportation. 

Submit your work to be considered for inclusion in a group exhibition focused on birds. Submissions can either focus on visual depictions of birds or work which communicates the metaphors attributed to birds (i.e. on a wire, of a feather, catching the worm, etc.). Work submitted may be in any medium and there are no size restrictions. This call for work is open to artists residing in New York State. No Entry fee, submit up to 5 pieces.

La Porte Peinte is an international arts centre located in Noyers sur Serein, a medieval village in Burgundy that is recognized as one of the 100 most beautiful villages in France. Based in a rambling medieval half-timbered building that leans out over the village square like something from a fairy tale, La Porte Peinte offers artists, makers, musicians and writers in residence the opportunity to engage in creative exploration and exchange in an unusually inspiring and supportive environment. Workshop spaces and event spaces are available for classes and performances. Along with residency accommodation, each creator in residence chooses the private studio space most suited to their practice.

Alderworks welcomes writers and artists every summer to work in cabins on the edge of the wilderness in historic and stunningly beautiful Dyea near Skagway, Alaska. The purpose of Alderworks is to enhance the creative process. They host residents in three cabins for 4-6 week summer residencies. Artists also have access to a studio building. Applicants are screened in the winter for the following summer's two residency periods. Residency fee applies.
