The major new artwork is sought for the Mathematics and Statistics Common Room at the University of Illinois. It will be a mostly two-story 2,000 SF room with dramatic views of campus and will be housed in the new Illini Hall currently being built in Champaign, Illinois. This room will be a multipurpose gathering space for the faculty and graduate students of the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics and will serve as both the social and intellectual center of these two departments.

Solo or Two Person Exhibition and Short Residency at Wabash College- Eric Dean Gallery-Fall 2026. Wabash College invites artists working in all media to propose a solo exhibition and short-term residency for Fall 2026. This opportunity includes a 1-2 week engaged residency on the Wabash Campus in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The artist will install the exhibit, connect with students and community members, and share their creative process through conversation, collaboration, and workshop-style engagements. Artists who are eager to teach through their making and open dialogue between art and community. All media and collaborative groups will be considered.

The Town of Vic Park would like to invite Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and/or experienced Noongar artists and creative practitioners for a major public art commission. The Town is commissioning a significant Indigenous public artwork by an Indigenous artist or Indigenous led collaborative team. Located in a prominent position within the park, the artwork will act as both a landmark and a storytelling element, sharing histories and cultural narratives while contributing to the site’s renewed contemporary use. Artists of all levels of experience are encouraged to express their interest. From the expressions of interest received, several artists will be selected to develop concept designs for a fee. The expression of interest phase (this phase) is unpaid.

Foci MCGA and Bicycle Glass Co. along with other community partners are launching an annual scholarship program for local glass artists. This annual scholarship is designed to provide glass artists with the financial resources needed to make high-level glass art education, requiring travel, accessible. Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend Pilchuck Glass School, Corning Museum of Glass, Pittsburgh Glass Center, Penland School of Crafts, or Haystack Mountain School of Crafts with their scholarship, but other educational opportunities can be approved upon request. Scholarships need to be used between March 1, 2026 and August 1, 2026. A final report will be required and due to Foci MCGA by August 31, 2026.

Elon University is currently accepting proposals for multiple solo exhibitions that will each run 5-6 weeks throughout the 2026-27 academic year. Exhibitions are scheduled for August 24th-October 2nd, October 5th-November 6th, February 8th-March 12th, March 29th-April 30th. The exhibition would ideally then be used to expand or frame conversations about contemporary definitions of art, materiality, and/or process. All mediums will be considered. Modest honorariums are offered for travel, shipping costs, speaking fees, etc.  Visiting/exhibiting artists will be asked to engage with the students, in the form of critique, on the same day as the artist talk and reception. City of Prospect invites South Australian artists /arts teams to submit Expressions of Interest’s (EOI’s) to create a public artwork integral to a new roundabout being installed in Broadview. The Project, Galway Avenue Roundabout Public Art involves creating a vibrant, safe and inviting focal point by incorporating public artwork into the Galway Avenue Roundabout at Broadview, integrated within the overall upgrade.

Established in 1980, this internationally renowned program annually awards visual artists of all mediums the opportunity to live and create site-specific work inspired by their total immersion experience in the natural environment. Up to 4 artists are selected for residencies at Bernheim. One residency is always dedicated to an artist currently living in Kentucky or Clark and Floyd counties in Southern Indiana, and one residency is always dedicated to an artist whose work addresses environmental issues and the climate crisis.

Open to all Australians, the $20,000 Artist in Residence program, facilitated by the City of Karratha with Principal Partner Rio Tinto, supports the relocation of a selected artist to the remote WA town of Cossack for a four-week period. During this time, the artist creates a body of works from an onsite studio space and delivers expert workshops to the community as part of the public program. Provided with remote, historic accommodation and studio space, artist’s fee, travel, art supplies and living expenses during their residency, the selected artist is presented with the opportunity to truly focus on their artistic practice in the unique environment that is the historic town of Cossack. The 2026 Artist in Residence will be hosted from 13 July to 10 August 2026, complementing the exhibition and a range of Public Programs presented to generate interest in the visual arts and craft in our region, providing skills development opportunities for local artists, art enthusiasts and visitors.

The City of Joondalup is seeking expressions of interest from artists for the 2026 edition of the Invitation Art Prize, one of Western Australia’s most respected visual arts awards. From Wednesday 5 November-Tuesday 2 December 2025, professional artists across WA are invited to submit their entries for the chance to be part of the celebrated $25,000 acquisitive award. Production company Born By A River is accepting submissions from early-career filmmakers seeking to produce a bold, author-driven short fiction project with social and cultural impact, attentive to topics related to diasporas, disabilities, gender and sexualities. With funding and resource support from industry project partners and Camden Council, Open Frame is a tailored programme designed to support Black British filmmakers based in the London Borough of Camden at the intersection of disability/neurodivergence and/or from an underrepresented gender/sexuality.

Robert A. Peck Gallery is accepting applications of artwork in all media on the theme of portrait, self or others. They are looking for artwork that captures the personality of a person or an animal. The essence of their soul, through aesthetic finesse, and create thought-provoking narratives. They are looking for unique and out of the ordinary images. No videos, films, installation or AI generated images. There is no fee to apply. Prize money of $1000 will be awarded.

To celebrate, Mornington Peninsula Shire is commissioning a new mural by an artist living, studying or working on the Mornington Peninsula. The artwork will refresh the pool’s exterior and reflect today’s Crib Point community — its people, stories, and sense of place. They're inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced mural artists to create this site-specific work.

Cafe Tissardmine is a situated in a remote village in the Moroccan Sahara. The recognise the need for artists to recharge, share ideas, be inspired and to find a place to breathe. They run 6 – 7 residencies per year for a maximum of nine artists with this idea in mind. The residency is not project based or requiring specific engagement or outcome but it is a place to find peace and new ideas. Artists from all disciplines are welcome to apply.
A Residency at Cafe Tissardmine is also an opportunity to discover the richness of the Berber culture; their way of life, cooking and crafts.

The City of Albany is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from professional artists with a connection to the Great Southern region for a new public artwork at the Orana Information Bay.

This is an invitation for artists, cultural workers who are descendants of the African Diaspora to apply for resources to support periodic facilitated spaces that support Black inquiry, multi-valent learning and expansion. Black Spatial Relics is a convening space for and supporter of Black radical performance, community care, collective research and transformative gathering. Founded in 2016, Black Spatial Relics has championed new performance work about slavery, justice and freedom through its residency, microgrant and convening programs. As a continuation of that work, Black Spatial Relics team is excited to launch its new flagship program - Conjure Council Funds.

The Small Sculpture Residency is a professional development opportunity to incubate new projects during a 3-month residency on site. These projects can be presented publicly at Gasworks Art Park in the future, but it is not a requirement of the residency. The residency will enable the development of studio practice, collaboration and creative exchange, in addition to mentoring and career guidance from the Visual Arts Manager at Gasworks. The studio space on offer will accommodate an individual artist in a shared building with 3 other full time professional artists in separate studios.

The Artist of the Month initiative at OmVed Gardens celebrates and spotlights creativity in all its forms, with a focus on artists and creators whose work explores people's connection with nature. The South Arts Southern Prize and State Fellowships acknowledge, support, and celebrate the highest quality artistic work being created in the American South. The Nexus Fund is seeking Project Proposals as a part of their participation in the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Arts Regional Regranting Program. The Nexus Fund underwrites artist-driven projects that engage in risk-taking and experimentation, notably those projects that broaden critical discourse and challenge traditional assumptions. They are seeking proposals for projects – particularly those that are multi-disciplinary and collaborative – that provoke social engagement and center the diverse audiences living and working in Metro Atlanta.* The fund will disburse ten (10), $6,000 grants totaling $60,000.
