Bethany Presbyterian Church seeks Seattle-area-based BIPOC, Latine, and AAPI artists to create artwork that communicates solidarity with the BIPOC, Latine, and AAPI communities at this juncture in history and their belief that cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity, expression, and reconciliation are central to human flourishing. The finished piece will be for temporary outdoor or outward-facing display on the church grounds. It need not be religious in nature.

They are open to a wide variety of visual media. This commission is intended to generate new, publicly visible work. Prior projects include video projections, 2-D & 3-D window hangings and displays, murals, and free-standing sculptures on their large, flat lawn on Queen Anne Ave.

Diriyah Art Futures (DAF), is the MENA region’s first hub that is dedicated to New Media and Digital Art. You are invited to submit an application to the inaugural Mazra’ah Media Art Residency for experienced artists and scholars.

The 3-month residency comprises two distinct streams for artists and scholars, established in the fields of New Media and Digital Arts. Designed to foster innovation and intellectual exchange across disciplines, the residency offers participants access to world-class studios and production labs, as well as a production budget.

Artwork developed during the residencies will be showcased through exhibitions, or incorporated into scholarly publications, facilitated by DAF and its network of regional and international partners. There will also be opportunities to secure broader recognition and engagement, through further potential exhibitions, publications and artist monographs.

The Don Bachardy Fellowship at the Royal Drawing School enables a gifted and dedicated post-graduate artist from outside the United Kingdom to join the Royal Drawing School during the Summer Term each year. The fellowship gives one artist the opportunity to join London’s vibrant art scene, with the School’s Shoreditch campus and artists' studios located in the heart of East London’s art, design and fashion scene.

The next Don Bachardy Fellowship will take place during the Royal Drawing School Summer Term 28 April – 5 July 2025. The Don Bachardy Fellow will spend 3 full days per week for ten weeks, drawing alongside postgraduate students studying on the Royal Drawing School's MA level programme, The Drawing Year.

To assist with travel and accommodation costs, the Don Bachardy Fellow will be awarded a $5,000 stipend.

Up to six best in show artists will have their work published in the catalogue with detailed critical essays written by the curator. Artists participating in the online exhibit will have two works of art on display and a link to their artist website. Artists keep 100% sales of their work.

Blue Space Gallery - “Ephemeral Now”, an international competition and virtual exhibition. Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their medium and style. Submissions should revolve around the central theme of “Ephemeral Now”. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, in collaboration with Historic Cane Hill, Inc. and the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, invites artists to participate in the 2025 Arkansas State Quail and Turkey Stamp Art Competition. Artists are encouraged to submit original designs featuring the northern bobwhite quail or eastern wild turkey within their natural Arkansas habitats. Winning artworks will be featured on the 2025 state quail and turkey stamps, promoting habitat restoration awareness. Accepted works will be exhibited at the Historic Cane Hill Gallery in Canehill, Arkansas.

The Hambidge Center is situated on 600 forested acres in the mountains of north Georgia and offers miles of nature trails, meadows, waterfalls, a swimming hole and an abundance of wildflowers.
The oldest residency program in the Southeast, Hambidge provides a self-directed program that honors the creative process and trusts individuals to know what they need to cultivate their talent, whether it’s to work and produce, to think, to experiment or to rejuvenate. Residents’ time is their own; there are no workshops, critiques, nor required activities.
Each resident is given their own private studio which provides work and living space with a bathroom and full kitchen. The studios are designed to protect residents’ time, space and solitude.

Montresso* Art Foundation’s residency at Jardin Rouge is open to visual artists (drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography).
There are no restrictions based on nationality or age, but applicants must demonstrate a significant professional artistic background.
The residency duration is between one and three months. Artists may be invited to return to continue their research based on the initial project or to develop new projects in collaboration with the Foundation.

Ground Floor Contemporary (GFC) is an artist-run and supported collective. They are currently composed of thirty local and out-of-state artists. GFC artists commit to a year-long membership/exhibition season and show twice in that year: once in a three-artist group show and in the final all-artist exhibition. Their open calls are for new exhibiting artists/collective members. GFC is a commission-free gallery and artists retain 100% of their sales. Membership dues are $780 per year/season. These dues can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually. With GFC, artists are challenged to develop their studio and professional practice, and collaborate with other artists.

This grant category is for individual Staten Island artists, collaborative groups of individuals, and community arts and cultural organizations who produce art or cultural programming. All projects must include a public component or simply a public sharing of work (for example, an exhibition/showing at a local venue). * First-time applicants must attend an application info session. Schedule is posted at the start of each grants cycle.

All art and artistic cultural disciplines are considered. Arts Education programs offering arts exposure (but not instruction and curriculum-based programs) at Staten Island public schools are eligible, as are programs taking place at senior centers.

Bighorn Canyon will be taking applications for the 2025 season. The park is looking for four artists to participate in 2025. Applications will be taken from November 15, 2024 to January 31, 2025.

Artists in this program will be able to discover and interpret Bighorn Canyon through their own creative projects. Writers, sculptors, musicians, composers, photographers, painters, culinary and performing artists are all welcome to apply for this program.

Greenville Center for Creative Arts, Daydreamers and Other Nightmares – Reimagining Myths and Legends for a Collective Future, curated by Brad Silk. Local artists of Upstate South Carolina are invited to submit works that explore the connection between mythology, nostalgia, and contemporary identity. We are looking for artists who reimagine and reference masterworks, art history, and mythologies. Participating artists will explore how contemporary creators use collective stories to reflect and reinterpret the challenges of our time, from political unrest to climate change and global crises. The Wabash College Art Department seeks artists with demonstrated experience in and a commitment to socially engaged art practice and/or community-based art projects to apply for our Restoring Hope, Restoring Trust Artist-in-Residence position for Spring 2026. The Artist-in-Residence will be a mentor for undergraduate students and engage in creative collaborations that involve students/campus community and local community partners in Crawfordsville/Montgomery County. 

The Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art (PMJA) at Rodeph Shalom has a long tradition of art exhibitions. Last year, with the reopening of the exhibition programming, PMJA began with an open call exhibition, which turned out to be an overwhelming success, bringing a new vision for community, artists and attendance to our vibrant urban gallery. PMJA’s intention with this open call is to build on this momentum by inviting artists to reflect upon and give expression to the theme of “Tikkun Olam” – duty to confront the challenges of repairing our world. PMJA invite artists to submit works that give expression to this concept. The Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) invites you to participate in the “Artistic Signal Box” project, an exciting initiative to transform 19 signal boxes into vibrant public art pieces. These boxes, located between the Zoo and Holman Road in the PhinneyWood area—a community born from the blend of Phinney Ridge and Greenwood—will celebrate the area’s rich creativity and community spirit.

ArtLab brings artists and scientists together to share viewpoints, observations, philosophies, and perspectives in their common quest to observe and understand the world around them. The ArtLab Artists-in-Residence program began informally in 2013 when 13 artists were invited to stay at Mountain Lake for part of the summer. Artists were recruited from Virginia, nationally, and globally. Most stayed for about two weeks. The program has continued ever since. Six artists-in-residence are invited to live and work at MLBS alongside six undergraduate student artists from the University of Virginia, and a Lucile Walton Fellow. Residents share studio space. All studio fees, user fees, and housing costs are covered by the program. The ArtLab program typically runs in early or mid July.

A juried selection is held annually to award artists three-to-twelve month residencies. Artists selected for the program receive 24/7 access to studio space, cultural and professional development opportunities, a monthly stipend that includes a small housing/materials allowance, and the opportunity to give an artist talk. The studios are equipped with sinks, telephones and wireless Internet access. Artists are selected based on the quality of their creative work, ability to interact with the public, career direction, and program diversity. To support artistic development, the program offers additional opportunities such as discussions with curators and gallery owners, exposure at HCCC events, and interactions with visiting art professional.

ARCUS Research is a short-term and self-funded program that offers an uninterrupted time and contemplative environment for creative experimentation, in-depth fieldwork, and research for practitioners and professionals in art and other cultural fields, including artists, curators, researchers, university educators, or writers. Located around an hour from Tokyo and a half hour from Tsukuba City, known for hosting one of the largest accumulations of science and technology institutes in the world, ARCUS Research allows participants to come into contact with the contemporary art scene and leading research institutions, as well as devote themselves to their creative endeavors in a calm environment. The program provides participants from around the world with valuable time and space to reflect, unwind, and nurture the creative process.

Kala Fellowship is an artist residency for international, national, and local artists producing innovative work in and across multiple media. For over 30 years, Kala Art Institute has provided artists with equipment, time, space, and financial support for their work through Kala Fellowship. The Fellowship is geared towards supporting artists in completing specific projects or bodies of work that would benefit from Kala’s specialized equipment. In 2025, Kala will support up to 6 artists with a $3000 stipend, 1 month of housing for artists outside of the 9 Bay Area counties, 24/7 access to Kala’s facilities for 1-9 months, a Kala class or workshop, and a culminating group show in the Kala Gallery.

Incinerator Gallery and Moonee Valley City Council invite expressions of interest from First Nations artists for a playable public art sculpture commission. The artwork will be temporarily installed at Incinerator Gallery to coincide with a major exhibition in mid-2025, before being permanently relocated to the neighbouring Maribyrnong River in Aberfeldie, Victoria, on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country. For over 40,000 years, the Maribyrnong River has been a site of significant cultural connection for the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung First Peoples. Drawing on the diverse histories of the river, artists are encouraged to design a sculpture that explores themes of childhood, play, togetherness, and renewal. The design will reflect the river’s cultural and environmental significance, creating a public art sculpture that fosters inter-generational exchange.

Arts Council Korea is inviting Artists, Producers, and Engineers who are keen on the convergence of arts & technology to participate in APE CAMP2025, to be held in Seoul from 24 to 27 May 2025.

Over 4 days in Seoul, selected participants will collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to refine innovative project ideas addressing the intersection of arts & tech, receiving mentorship from global professionals. Two outstanding overseas campers will be awarded a prestigious certificate of excellence by the chairperson of the Arts Council Korea. They provide partial support for round-trip airfare, accommodation, and meals during the program.

In honor of the WNBA All-Star Weekend, to be hosted in Indianapolis July 18-20, 2025, the Indy Arts Council will commission a new portrait mural depicting former Indiana Fever player and WNBA All-Star Tamika Catchings. Artists are invited to provide their interest and qualifications for this project. $60,000, covers artist fees, labor, and materials for a site approximately 45 ft. h. x 30 ft. w. (approx. 1350-1500 s.f.). With each mural the Arts Council commissions, Indy Arts Council offer the opportunity for an emerging Indianapolis-based muralist to serve as an apprentice to the lead artist. Apprentice artists spend approximately 100 hours working with the lead artist from design development through completion, learning how to design, plan, and paint a major civic-scale artwork. Apprentices are paid between $3,500 and $5,000 depending on the nature of the site.

Baobab is a Black-led, community resource, mobiliser and organizer for Black and Global Majority individuals and groups dismantling racial injustice in the UK. Baobab is grateful to announce the return of The Baobab Community Fund, a £3m fund dedicated to Black African/Caribbean and Global Majority collectives, organisations and individuals dismantling systems of oppression for communities in their work. The Baobab Community Fund grants range from £5,000 - £30,000 per year for up to 5 years. A £500 Access Pot is available to support Black and Global Majority applicants who are disabled.

Chadron State College's Art Program and Galaxy Series are accepting exhibition proposal submissions for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years. The exhibitions provide the educational and regional communities with visual art experiences that are aesthetically stimulating and engaging. Exhibition Proposal: Proposals for all forms of visual art, including new media and installations, are encouraged. The exhibition proposals should be professional and cohesive, demonstrate innovative concepts, and be conceptually engaging. Each art exhibition will last approximately four to six weeks and be on display during the academic year. Workshops and gallery talks are also available in conjunction with the exhibit.
