In Transformed, the artists challenge us to think about sustainability, consumption, and waste in a world increasingly aware of its environmental footprint. The works in this exhibition reflect a commitment to the belief that through art, something as simple as a discarded object can tell a new, rich story, providing insight into the connections we have with the objects we use and the lives they have lived before finding their way into the artist’s hands.This exhibition is a celebration of resourcefulness, creativity, and the ever-present potential for renewal in our fast-paced, throwaway culture. As you walk through the gallery, you’ll discover how objects once considered obsolete or meaningless can be transformed into pieces of art that speak to our collective past, present, and future.

Contemporary artists working accross disciplines, artist groups or curators can apply to exhibit or curate an exhibition at Sauerbier House in one or more of three very distinct gallery spaces. Whilst exhibiting, artists/ curators are requested to facilitate the opportunity for visitors to deepen their understanding of the work, the processes, concept, or practice of represented artists. These supported exhibitions run for up to six weeks. A support fee of $400 is available to be paid per exhibition. Extra support will be given to host a skill sharing workshop.

The Cultural Arts Committee invites artists to create a signature sculptural installation for the roundabout at the north end of San Pablo Avenue. The selected artwork will serve as a visual landmark and reinforce the corridor’s evolving identity as a vibrant, design-forward public space. Artists are encouraged to consider scale, visibility, and durability in their concepts, and may propose either a single large-scale piece or a series of coordinated elements. Works that incorporate lighting to enhance nighttime presence are strongly encouraged. Water and kinetic features will not be considered.

The VID Grant supports emerging photographers and artists from the Balkans to create or complete a compelling, non-stereotypical and unconventional visual story or project on social issues relevant to the Balkan region. The City of Auburn, Washington, seeks applications from regional artists to install 3-dimensional or multi-media art installations in two site-specific gallery spaces in downtown Auburn: the Art on Main Gallery and the Vault Gallery. Both spaces provide a $1,000 artist stipend to support the creation of new work and site-specific projects, or the installation of existing work.

The City of Henderson is calling on all artists to design and create a large-scale mural on the wall of the Oceanside Apartments on Water Street. This project is an artist residency wherein the selected artist/artist team will be housed at the mural site in a furnished, two-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment while the piece is created. The City of Henderson and the apartment’s owner/manager are seeking submissions that consider the past, present, and future of downtown Henderson to create a unique and iconic piece that welcomes everyone to the Water Street District.

Expressions of interest are now open for practicing contemporary artists to apply to undertake a supported site responsive studio-based residency at Sauerbier House in the beautiful coastal township of Port Noarlunga. Sauerbier House is located on Kaurna Yerta (Kaurna Country), south of Adelaide, South Australia. The Sauerbier House residency is an established program aimed to foster and support the professional development of contemporary arts practice while responding to the City of Onkaparinga.

The City of Wichita invites professional artists and artist teams with a demonstrated history of completing complex, permanent, outdoor public art projects to submit their qualifications for a $40,000 public art commission for A. Price Woodard Jr. Memorial Park. The start of this project is scheduled to begin in late fall/early winter of 2025. It is anticipated that the installation of the art will be completed in 2026. Emerging artists are encouraged to apply.

The City of Bloomington’s Office of Creative Placemaking and Parks and Recreation Department invite public artists to submit qualifications for the design, fabrication, and installation of an interactive artistic sculpture which will be located at Bryant Park, serving as a striking focal point within the landscape. The sculpture should be unique and specific to the site. The sculpture should have a theme drawing from nature, highlighting the importance of wetland and water quality improvements, providing an opportunity to inform and inspire visitors. The sculpture design must be inclusive, featuring accessible elements that ensure safety and accommodate a wide range of abilities and ages.

The City of Bloomington’s Office of Creative Placemaking and Parks and Recreation Department invite Minnesota-based public artists to submit qualifications for the design, fabrication, and installation of an interactive artistic sculpture which will be located at Bryant Park, serving as a striking focal point within the landscape.

This RFQ is open to experienced public artists and artist teams who have completed at least one commissioned outdoor public art sculpture with a budget of $20,000 or more in the past ten years. Applicants must be 18 years or older and residents of Minnesota, with priority consideration given to teams who include a Bloomington resident.

In honor of patrons Fleur and Charles Bresler, VisArts invites applications and proposals from local, national, and international artists for a four-month residency at our studios in Rockville, Maryland. The Bresler Residency provides three dynamic individual artists or collaborative artist groups the gift of time, space, and financial support, along with a unique opportunity to create a new body of work, evolve an existing body of work, or develop a project in a stimulating, supportive environment. · The Bresler Residency encourages interaction, dialogue, experimentation, and exploration with the VisArts artist community and the local community. The Young Creatives Lab program seeks proposals for new projects led by creatives aged 18 to 25 years. Proposals may include an exhibition, installation, performance, conversation series, development of a publication, new composition or screen work.

This Excellence In Fibers is their 11th anniversary exhibition, bringing the best of current international fiber and textiles to a growing global fiber art community. Artists are encouraged to push the boundaries in the areas of installations, sculpture, vessels, wall/floor works, and wearable art. The exhibition will be featured in the winter 2025–2026 issue of Fiber Art Now to be released in early January 2026. Denver Public Art seeks to commission an artist or artist team to create public artworks for Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. The goal of the project is to incorporate permanent artwork into the park and amphitheatre, integrating natural and man-made areas at Red Rocks. The public art will serve to enhance the experience of those who visit Red Rocks but not detract from the natural landscape.

The Hodder Fellowship will be given to artists of exceptional promise to pursue independent projects with Princeton University during the 2026-2027 academic year. Potential Hodder Fellows are composers, choreographers, performance artists, visual artists, translators, writers, or other kinds of artists or humanists who are selected more "for promise than for performance" and have "much more than ordinary intellectual and literary gifts" as traditionally defined. Hodder Fellows spend an academic year with Princeton, but no formal teaching is involved. A $93,000 stipend is provided for this 10-month appointment as a Visiting Fellow. The Lewis Center is committed to fostering an academic environment that acknowledges and encourages community. The successful candidate will pursue academic excellence in University settings.

The Princeton Arts Fellowship offers early-career artists a two-year appointment at Princeton University, where they are expected to teach or engage with students through creative practice. The City of Wilsonville, Oregon is requesting applications from a talented Artist or Artist Team, with expertise in mural design and implementation/installation for interior murals (four walls) in the Children’s Section at the Wilsonville Public Library. Preference may be given to Artists’ who are experienced in artwork geared towards children. Artist(s) should also be well versed and comfortable with engaging with the community. The budget for this project is not to exceed $20,000, which is inclusive of everything including but not limited to: time, labor, materials, equipment, travel expenses, insurance requirements, etc. In order to minimize closures of the Children’s Section, artists should be able to complete installation within a two-week period from start of install to completion and clean-up.

The Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation Department seeks to commission a local professional muralist to design and complete one 13’ x 22’ Mural at Pleasant Lea Park located at 1100 SW Walnut St, Lee's Summit, MO 64081. This work will be situated on the right side of the two handball courts. The artwork should be inviting and creative; it should be complementary to the space, the park, and reference the park's play, active, and engaging environment.

The Digital Constellations Residency offers Indigenous digital media artists, filmmakers, and animators dedicated time and a supportive environment to advance the video and audio production and post-production aspects of their projects. With guidance from faculty and support from our Media Production team, participants will refine their work, create high-quality samples, and further develop their projects throughout the program. This residency provides space to experiment across production and post-production phases, including: Digital media, Narrative film, Animation. City of Casey Council is seeking to commission an artist/s to create an artwork for the Ballarto Road Family and Community Centre (interim name) under development on Riverland Road, Clyde. The curatorial theme for this commission is simply – colour! This public artwork should invite viewers to experience colour as a language that speaks across cultures, histories, and personal narratives. They are inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from artists to develop concepts for a free-standing sculpture/s.

City of Bellingham is seeking artist(s) or artist team(s) qualified to design, fabricate, and install artwork associated with several capital projects at various locations as part of the Percent for the Arts program. Artists and artist teams may apply to be considered for a roster that will be used to select artists for one or more upcoming projects. The budget for current artwork opportunities range between $50,000-$195,000. The Dreamers competition: a springboard for young talent
The Dreamers competition was created to meet a key need: to offer teenagers aged 12 to 16 a platform for developing and showcasing their photographic talent. The competition is aimed specifically at this age group, as it is a crucial age for personal and artistic development. The Dreamers is designed to offer teenagers a unique opportunity for recognition and learning.

Theme and entry
This year’s theme is ‘Growth’, inviting entrants to explore change and evolution in different forms.

Entry requirements
– The competition is free and open to young people aged 12 to 16.
– Each entrant must submit 4 images, produced without any external assistance (except technical and educational assistance).

The Hambidge Center is situated on 600 forested acres in the mountains of north Georgia and offers miles of nature trails, meadows, waterfalls, a swimming hole and an abundance of wildflowers. The oldest residency program in the Southeast, Hambidge provides a self-directed program that honors the creative process and trusts individuals to know what they need to cultivate their talent, whether it’s to work and produce, to think, to experiment or to rejuvenate. Residents’ time is their own; there are no workshops, critiques, nor required activities. Each resident is given their own private studio which provides work and living space with a bathroom and full kitchen. The studios are designed to protect residents’ time, space and solitude.
