PAV was formed in 2015 by a group of local citizens and artists to promote and embrace "Art as a part of everyday life." PAV envisioned an outdoor sculpture program to promote a visible aesthetic voice and to supplement the agritourism of Palisade. This year PAV is seeking 8 to 15 sculptures to enhance the sidewalks, the plaza, and for the first time a local winery! With collaboration of the Town of Palisade, Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, art galleries and artists, PAV has grown from four temporary pieces to over fifteen sculptures and has purchased or sold more than a dozen of the exhibited sculptures. They are excited to coordinate our sculpture unveiling and public sculpture walk/talk with Palisade's Sunday Farmers' Market, 32nd Colorado Mountain Winefest, and Palisade's 5th Annual Mountain Arts Festival.

In partnership with Pima County, SAACA is seeking a Public Artist or Artist Team to create a site-specific public artwork for the new Northwest Service Center, a vital community resource providing public health and workforce development services. This project, funded through Pima County’s 1% for Public Art program, offers a $175,000 budget for the design and installation of a durable, impactful exterior artwork that reflects the center’s mission of fostering a thriving, healthy, and connected community. Potential artwork locations include landscaped areas, a courtyard west of the building, or the curved concrete wall on the south side of the courtyard. The selected artist will work closely with the Public Art Panel to develop a meaningful piece that enhances the facility’s civic presence along the Miracle Mile corridor. Open to all artists worldwide. The project will begin in 2025 and is expected to be completed within two years.

The City of Alexandria's Public Art Program is commissioning public art for the northern extension of Potomac Yard Park—a newly constructed city park adjacent to the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus. This initiative aims to introduce compelling, site-specific artwork that reflects the site's context and history, attracting both residents and visitors to the Potomac Yard Innovation District. The goal is to create dramatic, visually engaging, and unique art installations that foster an interactive environment for people of all ages.

In partnership with Pima County, SAACA is seeking a Public Artist or Artist Team to create a site-specific public artwork for the newly renovated Himmel Park Library in the historic Sam Hughes neighborhood. This project, funded through Pima County’s 1% for Public Art program, offers a $35,692 budget to design and install an engaging, durable piece that enhances the library’s outdoor reading porch or surrounding exterior spaces. Artists are encouraged to consider designs that reflect the library’s mission of education, inspiration, and community connection while complementing the character of the park and neighborhood. Open to all artists worldwide. The project will begin in June 2025, with completion anticipated by November 2025.

The Wyoming Girls’ School hosts approximately 25 students at any given time ranging in age from 12 to 21 years old. The selection committee has identified three potential locations for artwork. One is the 23-foot clerestory that spans the central hall of the building. The second is a large interior wall across from the library space. The final is an exterior location outside the library space where there is a clear line of sight to the interior wall with clear visibility from public areas. Key words for artwork: Powerful, serene/calming, nurturing, uplifting, inspiring, safe/secure, and change/improvement. Representational sculptures, installations, visually expansive/connected works are of particular interest to the committee, though they are open to all possibilities for the space.

The Town of Windsor Arts Commission (WAC) is seeking an artist to create a large-scale sculpture to be located at the Town's newly renovated Community Development Building, located at 200 11th Street, in Windsor, Colorado. This site was formerly the Windsor Police Station and is undergoing renovations to become the new home of the Community Development Department, which includes Planning, Engineering, Water Resources, and Economic Development. The sculpture will act as an entryway marker for the new facility and should reflect the departments that are housed there.

Sustaina India, a first-of-its-kind art x climate change initiative by Thukral and Tagra (T & T) and Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), calls for applications for the third edition of Sustaina India Fellowships. The Fellowship programme will support three creators over six months to realise impact-driven mixed-media and multimedia art projects at the intersection of art, climate science and research. The fellowship will culminate in a 10-14-day-long exhibition in New Delhi in January/February 2026.

Applications are OPEN for OVAC's next Art Crit Night on August 13th, 2025 at Oklahoma Contemporary in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Participating artists receive a $100 honorarium. Their goal is to support and strengthen the work of every artist that participates, as well as to promote critical dialogue among the community members that attend. All participants must be open to the critique process. The process will include presenting your work, receiving feedback from the curator framed in a spirit of positivity and desire to help you progress in your practice, and receiving comments from the audience as these events will be open to the art community in an effort to increase critical dialogue.

The City of Sunrise, Florida (City) is seeking to commission an Artist or Artist team to create one, possibly two iconic sculptures of significant size and quality to be located at the Flamingo Linear Park with the following locations: (Sculpture 1): Flamingo Road and Panther Parkway and (Sculpture 2): Flamingo Road and Oakland Park Boulevard in Sunrise, Florida. The sculptures should reflect the spirit of Sunrise and be impactful to passerby vehicular traffic both day and night at this high traffic roadway.

Last Ship is now in Khajuraho, the UNESCO World Heritage site in Madhya Pradesh, and Kalinjar, Uttar Pradesh, India. In the region between Khajuraho and Kalinjar lies the heart of ancient India, in its most rural and undeveloped sites, with temples and archaeological sites that go back from the famous 1,000 year old temples to prehistoric cave shelters. The Last Ship residency program is a one-of-a-kind experience of a history, nature and culture, hidden in the chaos and turmoil of contemporary India, and artists whose development would benefit the most from this experience are selected for the program.

In this intermediate/advanced workshop you will sample multiple ways to take your three-dimensional needle felting to the next level. Stephanie Metz incorporates techniques from other sculpture traditions (working in clay, carving stone, and joining metal) to reframe your thinking about needle felting. Her visceral organic sculptures—physically and conceptually both soft and edgy—reference the body as both subject and object. Her process and entire body of work a full of intricacy and intrigue and this workshop is likely to fill quickly.

International Palanga Art residency accepting 4 applicants for their 2025 Autumn (September and/or October) Residency programme. Residency duration – from 1 to 2 months. Preference is given to artists choosing 2 months residency program. Palanga Art residency is located in specific area – beside Palanga Botanical Park, which has started at the end of XIX century by famous French landscape architect Édouard François André. International residency links sharing skills and experiences, implementation of collaborative projects, dedicated to local and professional community as well as in a global scale. This residency strengthens a partnership among different countries and Lithuania, which stimulates the new ideas and projects of regional and international scale. Participating artists are able to create international networks among other professionals from art field.

Ucross strives to provide a respectful, comfortable, and productive environment, freeing artists from the pressures and distractions of daily life. Each year, they provide residencies to approximately 115 individuals. Residencies range from two weeks to six weeks in length. At any one time, there are up to ten individuals in residence, typically four writers, four visual artists, and two composers. Ucross provides each artist with living accommodations, meals, work space, and uninterrupted time so that the artists can focus on their creative process. Residents are responsible for providing their own working materials and for their travel to Sheridan, Wyoming. There is no charge for a residency. The residency program is open to visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, interdisciplinary artists, performance artists, and collaborative teams.

WIP Lab is seeking proposals for its upcoming residency program in Cyprus. Under the theme “Invisible Waters”, they welcome creative practitioners working at the intersection of art, design, technology and science, to engage with one of the most pressing environmental issues of our region: water. 2-3 months residency (October to December.)

Salt Lake County plans to contract with an artist or artist team to create one or more unique exterior artworks that will be installed on the site of the new Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Arts Center. In addition, each semi-finalist will be required to present their proposal in person to the Selection Committee on October 14th, 2025. The meeting will take place in Salt Lake City, and each semi-finalist will have up to one hour to present their proposal. Semifinalists will receive a $2,500 honorarium to prepare and present their proposals. This honorarium is inclusive of any expenses incurred for the creation of their proposal, including travel expenses, hotel, shipping, etc.

FRAME/SEQUENCE is a quarterly print periodical spotlighting underrepresented and emerging photographers, writers, artists, and communities across Philadelphia and Greater Pennsylvania — connecting art, story, and place in a uniquely intimate and enduring form. This project is open to Colorado artists and regional artists who reside in the neighboring states of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming.

The City of Wichita seeks to expand its public art collection by purchasing permanent outdoor sculptures for 14 existing pedestals located throughout Wichita’s central core districts of Old Town, Downtown, and Delano. The brick and concrete pedestals are owned by the City of Wichita and located on publicly accessible pedestrian walkways and plazas near residential buildings, small businesses, green spaces, Intrust Bank Arena, and Equity Bank Park baseball stadium. Artists at all stages of their careers are invited to submit existing or conceptual sculptures for consideration with a budget of $8,000-$14,000 per artwork. Selected artworks will be accessioned into the City’s 300-piece Public Art Collection and included in the City’s annual art maintenance plan.

From feminist legal battles to grassroots resistance, This is Gender: Law & Justice calls for powerful visual storytelling that explores the intersections of gender, power, and the law across courtrooms, communities, and everyday life. They’re calling for critical, creative, and courageous photography that expose hidden inequalities and challenge dominant systems.

The selection committee has identified the following locations for artwork: the exterior plaza as this location is visible from the facility parking lot. In addition to the exterior space, the committee has also selected a portion of the interior lobby wall and/or a piece to hang from the ceiling of the combined lobby/study area. Pieces should engage well with the physical location near/in the building, the location in Wyoming, and can be either two-dimensional or three-dimensional. Shape Arts' annual call out is now open. This year, to address the cuts to payments and funding that threaten disabled people’s lives, they are seeking work which responds imaginatively to themes of rights, protest, power, and the state of the British welfare system.

Local Perspectives, the longest running-juried exhibition featuring Siouxland’s creative communities, will be on view October 2, 2025 - February 9, 2026. Local Perspectives will be juried by Sioux City Art Center Curator Christopher Atkins, and will be installed in the JET Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of the Art Center. Who can submit? ALL artists, 18 and over who live within 75 miles of Sioux City can submit up to 3 artworks for consideration. The number of artworks selected will be based on the dimensions of 2D and 3D pieces. The newly constructed Manatee Pocket Mooring Field facility, located within the Port Salerno Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) boundary, embodies architectural elements inspired by Florida Vernacular design in its single-story structure. On SE Park Drive, the facility’s back wall offers a canvas for an approximately 7 feet tall by 6 feet wide mosaic and acts as the "front door" of the building in the context of the street and neighborhood. This artwork aims to celebrate the rich local culture, history, and natural beauty of Port Salerno and Martin County, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding architectural aesthetics.
