The City of Mühlhausen invites artists to creatively reinterpret its historic old town through light art, projections, and videomapping — as part of the 2025 commemorative program "freiheyt 1525 – 500 Years of the Peasants’ War". They are seeking contemporary visual works that engage with themes of freedom, resistance, social transformation, and memory. Amazónica Artists-in-Residence is a production and research residency program located in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. The Amazónica program offers residents an immersive experience in the socio-cultural landscape of the Peruvian Amazon, fostering critical research through both traditional and contemporary artistic practices in close collaboration with local communities. The Gifts of Art Program is seeking submissions for individual and group art exhibits for the September 2025 to August 2026 exhibition year. One of the first arts in healthcare programs in the nation, Gifts of Art brings the world of art and music to Michigan Medicine. Their 2-D and 3-D galleries throughout the medical center are viewed by thousands of people each day and display over 30 exhibits per year.

Gifts of Art’s rotating gallery program is intended to support the healing process and reduce the stress and anxiety often associated with healthcare settings. The annual Anne & Gordon Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarships enable Australian artists to develop their artistic capacities and skills through a dedicated period of practice-based learning at a leading international art school of their choice. Established in 1991, this scholarship has supported over 140 artists in building impactful international careers. ACS is offering a recent graduate the chance to win £6,000 to contribute to the cost of an artist’s studio in a UK city of their choice. ACS is delighted to announce that this year’s Studio Prize will be judged by Victoria Miro, Melanie Gerlis, Hester Westley and Harriet Bridgeman. The Studio Prize was established after a number of our members’ spoke of the economic challenges they faced when starting their artistic careers. The Soon Art Studio Artist Residency Program in Vienna, Austria, is designed to support both emerging and established artists by providing them with a dedicated space to create and showcase their work. Artists can choose from 2, 3, or 4-week residencies, during which they will have the opportunity to focus on their artistic practice in an inspiring environment. The residencies range from 2 weeks (€650), 3 weeks (€850), and 4 weeks (€1250). Each residency will require the artists to secure their spot by signing our residency agreement and a deposit of €200.

Carolinas Rehabilitation is looking for local and regional artists (North and South Carolina) to submit pieces to be hung in their newly renovated, high-traffic space. Every three months the gallery will be filled with new art, chosen by a committee. The artists chosen for each time period will be able to display 3 pieces of art. They are looking for art that creates a positive and welcome distraction for their patients and visitors.

This is a busy lobby and connects to their flagship hospital. The campus is 4 million square feet. The Water and Rock Art House is in the beautiful and historical stone, mountain village of Kazaviti on the island of Thasos in the North Aegean in Greece. The residency is open to artists, writers, researchers and scientists who work with the themes of nature as well as to yoga practioners who want to work on their self practice. They want to bring awareness to the beauty and importance of the fauna and flora of the island in an aim to build a greater sense of interdependence. They are also keen to create community and involve the creative residents where possible in local projects to improve the village.

The RAi Residency returns for its second edition — a 12-week programme designed to support artists, curators, and theorists in developing their practice within a studio environment. The residency offers a chance to connect, collaborate, and expand one’s oeuvre through engagement with local communities and institutions. RAi hosts four residents at a time: three artists and one curator or theorist. Emerging artists, curators, and theorists aged 25–40 working in the visual arts, including digital, traditional, new media, video, and photography.

Hotel ACTUAL will be a small-scale contemporary art fair in which the rooms of a hotel will be transformed into exhibition spaces, each one intervened by selected artists. The initiative, part of the ACTUAL 2026 Festival programme, aims to open a space for the art market in La Rioja by offering a platform where artistic creation, innovation, and dialogue with the public converge. The main objective is to bring high-level art closer to the local community, showcasing both national and international artists, as well as local creators who, despite having external recognition, remain under-appreciated in their immediate surroundings.

The Art in Public Places program enriches New Mexico's public spaces through an innovative and diverse art collection. Since its inception in 1986, the program has placed more than 2,500 artworks in all of New Mexico's 33 counties. Their goal is to reflect the diversity of the arts in New Mexico, the Southwest, and the nation while building a dynamic public art collection for the State of New Mexico. The objective of the Large-Scale Purchase Initiative is to diversify the state's public art collection by purchasing artwork from artists at all stages of their career. All media in all genres, suitable for both interior and exterior display, will be considered. Artwork must be durable, permanent, low-maintenance, and in compliance with ADA guidelines upon installation.

The Illuminations Grant for Black Trans Women Visual Artists is an annual $10,000 grant awarded to provide critical support to Black trans women whose work has often been under-recognized in the visual art field. Now in its 5th year, the Illuminations Grant was developed and named in partnership with Mariette Pathy Allen, Aaryn Lang, and Serena Jara. Winning artists and finalists will receive additional professional development resources and further guidance to bolster their creative development in the field.

VisArts invites applications and proposals from local, national, and international artists for one of two six-month residencies at their studios in Rockville, Maryland. Studio space is provided free of charge. Artists receive a $3,000 stipend. Gibbs Street Artists in Residence present their work in culminating solo exhibitions. Each year, VisArts’ Gibbs Street Artist Residency provides a unique opportunity for two dynamic individual artists or collaborative artist teams to create a new body of work, evolve an existing body of work, or develop a project in a stimulating, supportive environment over a period of six months.

The City of Flagstaff is seeking statements of qualifications (“SOQs”) from artists or artist teams to create a 3D artwork to be installed in the center of the Switzer Canyon roundabout located at the intersection of N. Switzer Canyon Drive and N. Turquoise Drive. The City of Flagstaff, through its Beautification and Public Art Commission (BPAC), advocates for the beautification, arts and sciences in Flagstaff and supports this project. This is an opportunity to contextualize, design, fabricate and install artwork within the project scope. An initial design services contract will be offered to the selected artist. Once City of Flagstaff approvals are met and all design documents created, the selected artist will be offered a second contract for fabrication and installation of the artwork.

Blue Space Gallery presents the 4th "Open Theme" international competition and virtual exhibition. Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their medium and style. All subjects and themes are welcome. Entry is free; only those artists whose submissions are chosen as finalists will be required to pay a $35 participation fee. Finalists will have their artwork showcased in the online exhibition and will advance to the final jurying round in consideration for cash prizes and the opportunity to win the grand prize of $1,000. Awards will be granted to those whose work demonstrates the greatest level of creativity and artistry.

Art Ability is dedicated to creating community awareness of cognitive and physical disabilities, encouraging people with disabilities to reach beyond their limitations and find fulfillment and inspiration through art. Art Ability provides positive role models for people with disabilities while increasing their access to the arts. The program successfully develops new markets for artists with disabilities where they can gain recognition for their technical skill and artistic vision. The annual exhibit and sale will be on display at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, Pennsylvania, from November 9, 2025 to February 1, 2026 and will be open to the public during the hospital's visiting hours. The event will kick off with a ticketed preview party and fundraising dinner on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

The residency program is aimed at artists from Baden-Württemberg and offers them the opportunity to integrate into new artistic communities and present their work to a wider audience in Namibia. For 2026, the program will award two six-month residency grants from February to July in Windhoek to artists from Baden-Württemberg. The residency will give two artists the opportunity to travel to Namibia together and mentor each other during the residency. In return, two artists from Namibia will have the opportunity to travel to Baden-Württemberg for six months in 2026. These residency grants will be announced in a separate call for applications. The program organizes events such as readings, exhibitions, panel discussions, and workshops to disseminate the results of the residency to a wider audience in Namibia. Applicants are free to choose the thematic focus of their project.

The MSU Museum CoLab Studio invites bold and innovative proposals for their upcoming exhibition, Singularity. This exhibition and public programming series unravels the enigmatic and transformative concept of the technological singularity, a point in time which artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence, leading to rapid technological growth and unpredictable change in human civilization. Specifically, this exhibition will examine the singularity through the following subthemes: 1. Humanity Redefined, 2. Artificial Minds, Creative Souls, 3. Democracy through an Algorithmic Lens. Through these lenses, the exhibition aims to illuminate the myriad pathways of society might traverse in the shadow of singularity, prompting profound reflection on the collective destiny. 

"Mother Dearest: External Bond" — Children and Youth Edition

The Zsuzsi Roboz Scholarship is intended for a committed figurative artist who have a developed artistic vision, but who need assistance or support with the next steps of their career.

The mural should embody Orlando’s iconic landmarks, culture, and diversity, offering a dynamic and inviting visual experience for travelers. Concepts should incorporate the following: Orlando’s iconic destinations, such as Lake Eola Fountain, Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World, Camping World Stadium, Kia Center, and Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts ; Scenes of community and outdoor life, including families, pedestrians, and nature or “Welcome to Orlando” lettering.

The Lanyon Art Prize 2025 invites artists from the ACT and region to submit works that respond to Lanyon Homestead. Through their response, artists can explore what Lanyon Homestead means within the broader context of Canberra’s past, present and future. The Lanyon Art Prize has a prize pool to the value of $20,000. The purpose of the selected works is to inspire contemporary views and storytelling about Lanyon and its surrounds – its landscape, local and regional context, the First Nations and non-First Nations people who have lived and worked here, tangible and intangible heritage, the collection of objects, and the living heritage of the gardens and its pastoral setting which is still a working farm. Finalist’s works will be exhibited in select locations on the property to create an immersive experience.

The City of Sarasota Public Art Program invites experienced muralists to apply for a public art commission as part of the Florida Legacy Arts Mural Series. This project will result in a large-scale mural on a multi-family residential building at the corner of 10th Street and Osprey Avenue, a prominent intersection adjacent to Gillespie Park and near Sarasota’s downtown core. The mural must reflect the theme of Florida Flora and Fauna, with a focus on local and native bird species found throughout Sarasota. Artists are encouraged to propose original, nature-based designs that may include species such as the Osprey or Monk/Canaday Parakeet, alongside native plant life. The mural should celebrate Sarasota’s natural environment while enhancing the identity of the surrounding neighborhood.

STILL: National Still Life Award is Yarrila Arts and Museum’s national biennial acquisitive art award. Established in 2017, STILL aims to recognise excellence, diversity and innovation in contemporary still life practice while broadening the interpretation of this enduring genre. STILL: National Still Life Award is open to artists at all stages of their practice and working across all mediums, including but not limited to painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video and installation. STILL 2025 has a prize pool of $36,000.

Gosford Regional Gallery is pleased to present the 2025 Gosford Art Prize. This year the prize pool has increased in all categories. The acquisitive Gosford Art Prize winner is awarded $25,000. The Gosford Art Prize started as a community-driven project in 1970 that has grown to become one of the highlights of the exhibition calendar and an important part of the cultural landscape of the Central Coast. The 2025 iteration is the 26th time the prize will be presented at Gosford Regional Gallery, and it continues to grow in size and popularity every year.

The sculpture should be vibrant, colorful and impactful to pedestrians and passerby traffic both day and night.

Established in 1997 in memory of the artist Penny Meagher, the emphasis of the Windmill Trust Scholarship is to support visual artists from regional NSW to take up career development and/or presentation opportunities for their work. The Windmill Trust Scholarship supports artists in various career aspects, including independent artistic research or practice, professional development, exhibiting and presenting work in new ways. Financial support encompasses studio rental, materials or labour costs, framing, space rental, promotion, artists’ fees, freight, installation, and documentation.
