Business for the Arts Broward (BFA) is partnering with Florida Purchasing Agency on a mural mentorship for their building. The mural mentorship project in Lauderdale by the Sea, FL aims to create a vibrant and visually striking mural under the guidance of Lead Artist Lori Pratico in partnership with BFA, funded by Wayne and Lucretia Weiner, Florida Purchasing Agency and BBX Capital. Lori Pratico brings over 30 years of experience and creativity to the initiative. This collaborative endeavor will involve five mentee artists, providing them with the opportunity to build their mural skills and gain valuable insights into the process of creating murals. Throughout the project, the mentees will work closely with Lori Pratico, their mentor, participating in brainstorming sessions, design development, and the execution of the mural itself.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR A LANDMARK SCULPTURE AT COVINGTON CENTRAL RIVERFRONT. The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center (Carnegie) and The Center for Great Neighborhoods (CGN) seek proposals for a new landmark public art installation to anchor Covington’s newest development, a 500-million-dollar mixed-use project in the heart of the downtown riverfront area. The Covington Central Riverfront (CCR) site, a 23 acre site that was once home to an IRS processing facility, is being transformed into a neighborhood with a restored street grid, office, residential, retail, and public spaces. Preference will be given to Artists living or working in Covington, surrounding areas, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, or with strong ties to the region.

The Larch Creative Fund, in conjunction with the Spruill Center for the Arts, is seeking project proposals for innovative projects that encourage creative and critical thinking through the arts, with a focus on having fun and encouraging community participation and related activities. A total funding of $50,000 in grants will be awarded to artists or organizations. Grant funding amounts will be awarded commensurate with the project scope and impact, in amounts determined at the discretion of the jury committee.

The Dover Prize is a biennial award that supports opportunity and experimentation in the visual arts. Open to UK-based visual artists, partnerships and small collectives, the Prize offers a £10,000 bursary paid across two years to provide space and time to think, research, reflect and/or experiment with new ideas. A final work must premiere in Darlington, with support available to help the successful applicant identify a suitable location or venue.

Seward Park Clay Studio Resident Artist Program offers a variety of opportunities to clay artists to develop their skills and establish a community of support and professional connections. The program is designed to fit a variety of people’s needs with residencies from one to three years. These include one-year project residencies, 3-year community residencies, and 3-year work/study residencies. All resident artists share a communal space where work and tools can be stored. Residents have 24/7 access to the studio, the kilns, and the support of a seasoned clay-artist group.

The City of Subiaco is seeking artists creating functional or utilitarian public artwork. This might be lighting, seating, shade, art utilising living plants – or any artwork serving both a practical and aesthetic use. It is important the artwork be robust, able to endure outdoors long term in WA’s high UV, windy conditions. The City of Subiaco is undertaking a number of laneway upgrades in the coming years and would like to identify a pool of artists who may wish to collaborate with their landscape designers and staff on relevant projects as they arise. They are open to working with artists based nationally, where budget allows.

The Working Artist Project (WAP) is a year-long fellowship program facilitated by The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA). The program was created by MOCA GA to champion established visual artists of merit who are based in the Atlanta metropolitan region. Each year, a guest curator selects three of our best and brightest to receive a solo exhibition, promotion, a studio apprentice (in support of emerging artists in the Atlanta Community), a full-color catalogue, and a $15,000 stipend to create work over the course of the year.

The Town of Windsor invites sculptors to submit applications for the inaugural season of the SoL of Windsor, Sculpture on Loan Program, located on the west end of scenic Windsor Lake. The works selected for this public art exhibition will be on loan to the Town for a period of twelve (12) months and must be available for sale on commission during that time.

The Town of Ashland, Virginia, invites artists or artist teams to submit proposals for the design, fabrication, and installation of functional public artwork at the northern trailhead of the Fall Line Trail. A to Z Wineworks, located at their REX HILL property in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, seeks an Artist in Residence for a term beginning in Fall 2025 with a harvest experience and ending in Fall 2026.

The A to Z Artist in Residence immersion program follows the natural cycle of a vintage from pre-harvest through bottling, observing and participating in the art of winemaking. The artist begins as a paid harvest intern. After harvest, the Artist in Residence works on their individual art while remaining involved in the life of the winery as the wine moves from grapes to glass. The residency concludes with a public showcase of some of the artist’s work through a gallery showing, lecture, reading and/or performance.

With a specific focus on site-responsive projects, the Residency provides an immersive space for creative inquiry, fostering connections between the artist(s), environment, and community. The purpose of this call is to develop a pre-qualified list of mosaic artists for potential public art projects within the Town of Addison.
Scope of Potential Projects:
• Large and small mosaic panels designed for outdoor walls or building facades.
• 2D and 3D mosaic sculptures of animals, flora, trees, or other landscape features for placement along trails or within parks
• An initial project is for a 3-section wall approximately 6 ft. high (the “Initial Project”). Each wall section is approximately 8 ft. wide with an available area of up to 4 ft. x 5 ft. for each mosaic panel. There is a pond, walking path and landscape area near the wall. Selected artists would have the discretion to propose designs appropriate for each panel.

Film London and Arts Council England present The FLAMIN Fellowship, a major development programme for early-career artist filmmakers living in England. Part of Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network (FLAMIN), the Fellowship aims to support the most exciting, innovative and challenging moving image practices, with development and £2,500 funding for new work.

The City of Tamarac, Florida is seeking to commission an artist or artist team to design seven (7) sculptural benches to be located at the City’s Sportsplex located at 9901 N.W. 77 Street, Tamarac, Florida 33321. The benches should serve both functional and artistic purposes and incorporate the city’s brand and various sports themes. Three artists /artist teams will be selected as semi-finalists to develop and present design proposals. Each will receive a $1,500 stipend. The winning artist will be awarded a $50,000 contract to include permitting, artist fees, production, materials, insurance, travel, delivery, and other incidental expenses. Deadline: June 3, 2025

Emerging artists are invited to apply for the 2025 British Ceramics Biennial Fresh exhibition, taking place in Stoke-on-Trent. Each exhibitor will receive a £300 exhibition payment and £50 towards the transportation of the work to and from the exhibition venue. The Fresh Talent Prizes seek to recognise artists of significant emerging talent exhibiting in Fresh. Four early-career artists will be awarded a Fresh Talent Prize, comprising a cash award and a residency through partnerships with Guldagergaard International Ceramics Research Center in Denmark, Grymsdyke Farm in Buckinghamshire, University of Staffordshire and the BCB Studio, both of which are based in Stoke-on-Trent. Fresh Talent Prize winners are also invited to show their work at the next Biennial, taking place in autumn 2027.

Over the past two years, Artville has awarded over $320,000 to more than 50 artists to create temporary public art, gallery programs, activations and immersive experiences in Nashville as part of its first city-wide art festival. In its third year, Artville expands into downtown Nashville with Walk of Fame Park which will host Artville as well as the iconic American Artisan Festival—a contemporary craft festival that will be hosted as part of Artville. Brashnar Artist-in-Residence (BAiR) is an artist owned and operated urban artist residency program located in the neighborhood Hrom on the west side of Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. BAiR is a multi-faceted residency program allowing resident artists the freedom to explore the potentials of their practice while experiencing Macedonian culture through group related activities. As an artist led project, Brashnar Creative Project aims to directly influence the process of decentralization of the arts and culture in Skopje. While residing at BAiR, residents live in an open, communal style environment situated in a family-oriented neighborhood. During their residency, residents are encouraged to embrace the local culture and to engage the surrounding community while living at the Art House.

The Greater Augusta Arts Council, on behalf of Augusta University, is requesting proposals from qualified sculptors or artist teams to create a unique, durable, low-maintenance, safe to touch sculpture. This will be placed on the grounds of the Augusta University Summerville Campus. Artists are asked to conceive sculptures symbolizing innovation and community. The sculpture is intended to last for 50 years minimum in good condition. Selected artists will receive a stipend of $15,000 to cover all expenses associated with the envisioning, creation, transport, insurance and installation of the sculpture, and any and all other expenses the artist might encounter, including a concrete pad if needed.

The Trenton Artwalk Project is a collaboration between Artworks, the City of Trenton, and the New Jersey Department of Transportation. This project is dedicated to improving and beautifying the pedestrian/cycling route between the Trenton Transit Center and Downtown Trenton. The “Artwalk Corridor” is the series of sidewalks, crosswalks and the Route 1 underpass between the train/light rail station and Stockton Street. Images are provided on the next page. The intention of the project is to add a safe and beautiful walking/biking route from a major transit hub to the heart of downtown. This call focuses on a large mural on the wall of the Route 1 underpass.

BigCi is an independent, artist run, not for profit artist residency program focusing on artists’ professional development and facilitating their projects. Because of their location on the edge of Wollemi National Park within the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Greater Blue Mountains, many of their resident artists are particularly interested in projects that explore environmental or ecological issues, while others use their natural surroundings as a source of creativity. All residents have opportunities to take part in bushwalks conducted by Yuri Bolotin, an experienced mountain guide and author, and to learn first-hand about the unique natural environment of the area. Artists-in-residence are able to present their work during a BigCi Open Day that usually takes place at the end of their stay.

MANGO Residencia para Artistas (Buenos Aires – Argentina), in collaboration with Moku Art Studio (Los Angeles – U.S.), proposes a program where the objective is: a shared virtual exploration with and among artists to create a personal project that will have a virtual exhibition, connecting with the ocean. This program has been recently incorporated by UNESCO – Ocean Decade as an official activity. The creative process is enriched through shared experience. Opened to all artists disciplines! The program has a duration of 5 virtual meetings (1 per week) + 1 “Virtual Open Studio” which will also serve as the opening of the virtual exhibition. During the program, the artist must develop an artistic project. It should consider, in some aspect (whether technical, conceptual, reective, or experiential), the theme: “Ocean”.

City of Melbourne’s Annual Arts Grants and Residencies Program is now open. Artists and arts organisations are invited to apply for one of the following opportunities. Annual Arts Grants – Up to $20,000 is available for arts projects that deliver a public outcome, either online or at a venue within City of Melbourne in 2026. Open to individual artists, groups, and small to medium arts organisations. Art Residencies – These grants provide studio spaces and facilities for artists and small to medium arts organisations to support the development of their creative practice. Residencies are available in 2026 for six or 12 months and include up to $5,000 funding for artists.

The Vilcek Foundation will award six Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in the amount of $50,000 in two categories: Fashion & Design and Fashion & Culture. In each category, three young immigrant fashion professionals who demonstrate outstanding early achievement in their field will individually receive an unrestricted cash prize of $50,000.

The Menokin Foundation is seeking artists to propose & create an outdoor art installation to be temporarily displayed for 1 year on Menokin’s grounds that revolves around the theme of self-emancipation. Proposed artwork meant for indoors will also be accepted, but indoor space is limited.
Menokin defines “self-emancipation” as an act where one exerts autonomy over their lives under oppressive circumstances.
Many identities and histories are housed on Menokin that the artist may use as inspiration to explore the theme of self-emancipation. Menokin’s natural landscape and built environment should be considered in the artist’s proposal. The artist may also reflect upon their own identity, personal history, & connections to America and what liberty, equality, & sovereignty means to them.
