Dorland Mountain Arts Residency is a beautiful retreat where artists can create in a secluded and protected natural setting. Dorland is located near Temecula Valley Wine Country, about 100 miles south of Los Angeles and sixty miles north of San Diego. The Residency Program provides a secluded working retreat for national and international visual artists, writers, musicians and composers. Residency stays may be as short as one week or as long as two months, based on requests and availability. Individual cottages are complete with WiFi, window AC, good cell phone reception, kitchen, bathroom, workspace, and a covered porch with magnificent mountain, canyon and Temecula Valley views. One cottage includes a Steinway baby grand piano, and another has a Kimball baby grand.

Indiana University Kokomo invites you to participate in their 2023-2025 juried, on-loan, outdoor sculpture exhibit on the Kokomo, Indiana campus. Selected artists must be willing to enter into an Art Loan Agreement with IU Kokomo and will be awarded an honorarium of $2000 per piece. IU Kokomo is a regional campus of Indiana University with a vibrant arts program and extensive art collection. They have installed sculpture pads on our beautiful Kokomo campus to display public sculptures on a rotating basis. The third installment of this exhibit will be from July 2025 through July 2027.

The Sacramento County Department of Airports is soliciting Statements of Qualifications And Experience (SOQ&Es) from qualified artists to design, fabricate, and install permanent artworks at the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) as part of the Department’s large-scale capital improvement program known as “SMForward.” SMForward, which includes six major construction projects, represents a historic opportunity to integrate art into the traveler’s experience while reinforcing and contributing to the Sacramento region’s identity. This RFQ&E is a call for multiple artwork opportunities under SMForward’s Concourse B Expansion project.

Fairytale Town invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit their qualifications for the Fairytale Town public art project in Sacramento, CA. The 2025 Abbey Mural Prize is juried by members of the National Academy, including both artists and architects. The Abbey Mural Prize supports projects with grants typically ranging from $10,000 to $40,000. Grants are awarded to create or restore public murals, especially those that promote accessibility and serve local audiences. While murals are conventionally defined as paintings or mosaics on a wall, the prize also encourages proposals that broaden and challenge the definition of what a contemporary mural can be.

Be-Part and rhizome_ are offering a residency spot this summer for artists who want to focus on developing interdisciplinary work from 1 July until 14 September 2025. The residency will be hosted in the exhibition space of rhizome_, located in Kortrijk's station district. This unique workspace offers a direct connection to both the surrounding environment and the city. The studio is seen as a space for encounters, dialogue, and exchange. They encourage proposals that actively connect with the urban context and engage audiences in innovative ways. To support this, one or two public presentation weekends will be scheduled during the residency. The residency will be culminating in a public showcase on the weekend of 13 and 14 September.

“Are you a friend of Dorothy?” is a queer camp-themed show embodying the energy of queer safe havens/oases, including (but not limited to) Fire Island, Palm Springs, Saugatuck/Douglas MI, Val Kill, etc. It serves as a heartfelt reflection on the complex tapestry of summer and summer camp experiences that may have shaped queer youth, whether boldly out or quietly finding a way. A residency spot has become available at Hakoniemi Residency for the following periods: March 14–March 30, 2025: The entire house (also suitable for families or workgroups). April 1–April 27, 2025: A smaller room. Artists applying individually can also extend their residency period by combining these dates. Founded in 2019 in Oravisalo, Rääkkylä, Hakoniemi residency is a peaceful and inspiring working environment, located and inspired by the beautiful lake-side nature of Northern Saimaa archipelago. They would like to offer a residency place for sustainable work plans of different kinds, and an interest to the natural environment.

The Lennox St. Gallery Art Award celebrates contemporary visual art, providing a platform for artists to showcase exceptional Paintings and works on paper. Open to artists under the age of 35 and living in Australia, the award invites submissions of original paintings and works on paper created within the last twelve months. The aim of the award is to recognise excellence in artistic practice while fostering the development of new and diverse artistic voices.

Exterior, public-facing site near a busy intersection. The goal of this mural project is to improve a retaining wall at the southwest corner of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Swope Parkway. This is the former location of Neighborhoods and Housing Department offices.

The retaining wall measures approximately 20’ high x 130’ wide. The city will prep and prime the wall to receive a mural. 2-5 semifinalist artists will be asked to advance to the RFP phase and propose designs. Semifinalists will be paid a design proposal stipend of $1,000.

The Yéigo Action Grant provides support for the growing landscape of Native artists and culture bearers who need financial assistance with a professional development opportunity or towards a hardship that is hindering their creative practice. This program offers grants between $100 and $5,000 for individual Native artists and culture bearers. First Peoples Fund (FPF) finds it essential to support artists in their times of need, especially when their work is impacted by sudden hardship. This grant’s name incorporates the Diné word yéigo, often used as a phrase of encouragement that can mean “keep going” or “don’t give up.”

The 6th Tamworth Textile Triennial will launch in 2026 at Tamworth Regional Gallery before embarking on a two-year tour across Australia. The Southern Arts Recovery Fund provides financial support to artists residing in the FEMA disaster areas of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia; impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Artists working in craft/traditional arts, design, literary, media/film, performing, visual, and interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary arts may apply for a grant to replace supplies and equipment lost due to the hurricanes. This opportunity is open to professional artists 18 years or older whose artistic practice generates any portion of their income. This recovery grant is for individual artists only.

They offer a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment for creatives to come and spend time in their Cortijo in the Andalucían mountains. They provide a large, light, communal studio, a ceramics workshops and woodworking and metalworking tools. Each of the 5 bedrooms, spread across 3 floors, also have their own dedicated workspace. The Cortijo is set within 2 acres of land, which residents are also free to roam; they are sure you will find much tranquility and inspiration here, providing you with all that you need for a new body of work, research project or indeed, make new friends and develop your international network.

The five-week hybrid residency will engage 12 visual artists whose artistic practice includes land-based themes, environmental sustainability, Indigenous narratives of the land, and/or use of natural materials. Artists can apply with a personal project to explore, experiment and research, or complete their final project work. The online portion equips artists to arrive on campus ready to create in a supportive environment with access to a studio and Visual Arts facilities. The residency features workshops, on-the-land engagement, faculty guidance, knowledge exchange centered on integrating Indigenous ways of knowing into the artistic process and the opportunity to showcase works at Open Studios.

ALA Art Prize was started in 2021 with the aim of supporting, enhancing, and promoting contemporary artists. Through a free open call, artists are invited to create an original site-specific project for ALA’s premises, a not-white cube which will get them to interact with the work environment and its community, thus establishing a space for discussion between art, business and contemporary creativity. The awarded artwork will become part of the permanent art collection housed in the headquarters of the Company, within the Teatro Mediterraneo of Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples.


LGBTIQA+ artists and curators are invited to apply for a solo or group exhibition at the Eltham Library Community Gallery. The selected exhibition will be put forward for Midsumma Festival, Australia’s premier queer arts and cultural festival, bringing together a diverse mix of LGBTIQA+ artists, performers, communities and audiences. Open to local artists and nonprofit organizations in the visual and performing arts, Telluride Arts’ Art for Art’s Sake Grants are awarded to support artistic projects that will enrich the Telluride community through public display or performance.

At Studio Luce, they give artists and writers the freedom to manage their own schedules, trusting them to use their time as they see fit. They believe artists know how they work best, and their role is to support that. This is a very hands-off residency where you, as the creative, determine how best to use your time. ​They don’t require a finished piece at the end of your stay, understanding that this residency is a small part of your process. Deadlines can stifle creativity, but they’re always there for check-ins and conversations, offering insights into El Paredón and Guatemala. ​While the work is up to you, they encourage collaboration and meals with fellow artists and interaction with the local community.

The Waverley Art Prize has been running since 1986 as a painting and drawing prize. This year the Waverley Art Prize is returning to the Bondi Pavilion Gallery as Bondi’s staple event in the local and national art prize calendar. The Waverley Art Prize is aimed for early to mid-career artists. The Open Prize and Mayor’s Prize-winning works are acquired in the Waverley Council Collection. The funds raised through the art prize support Waverley Woollahra Art School and help them sustain their role as the longest running artist run initiative in Waverley. This year is the 39th anniversary of the Waverley Art Prize. The Waverley Art Prize 2025 is open to painting, drawing, print and mixed media.

For Eye to Eye 2025, they are seeking installation proposals with a strong artistic voice and feasible timeline which invite collaboration from other artists. Submitted art samples will primarily be used to give a sense of an artist’s creative voice and ability to follow through on artistic projects.

They will assign teams of 3-4 artists to work together to fabricate the installation. Each team will include at least one artist represented by Fresh Eye Arts, a progressive art studio supporting artists with disabilities.

The Public Art Program is interested in commissioning an artist or artist team to create a site-specific, large scale permanent sculpture or series of sculptures at Big Bull Creek Park, 20425 Sunflower Road, Edgerton, KS 66021. With Kansas City being one of the hosts of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this installation presents a unique opportunity to reach a broader international audience. The installation of this permanent art is scheduled for May 2026 with World Cup games and special events occurring across the Kansas City region in June/July 2026. Applications are due 5/11/2025.

King's Lynn is looking for experienced artist/s, creative practitioner or an arts organization with experience of community engagement or socially engaged practice to develop and deliver a series of art works in partnership with communities in King’s Lynn which will feature as part of the towns HANSA20 celebrations. The works will be projected on to three historic buildings in central King’s Lynn using the existing infrastructure of BrightSign Media Players along with the option to use two mobile projectors on different sites/locations. The technology will allow for projection of static images, slide shows, animation, film or potentially interactive works using gaming technologies but not sound.

SUAVEART invites artists, researchers, and creative practitioners to participate in an upcoming offline exhibition on Hainan Island, exploring the evolving relationship between humans and nature. Through observation, collection, gamified exploration, and participatory engagement, this exhibition seeks to foster deeper ecological awareness and reconnect audiences with the land.
