Clouds over the high desert mountains of Far West Texas create such complex patterns of light and shadow across the land, it's easy to ignore the intricate landscape they create across the heavens. While it didn't rain on our spot of ground that day, the distant curtain of rain reminded me that it did-- and would-- happen. (You should never begrudge another man's rain, by the way.)
