These two small pale-headed wildflowers weren't quite twins, but certainly looked like sisters when we hiked up on them. The larger bloom, straw-colored, took the lead in greeting the sun, while the slightly smaller, whiter flower on the same plant stayed in her sister's shadow as if to make certain it was safe to come out in the open that morning. Both were perfectly lovely, each in its own unique way.
