The $10,000 acquisitive Beckett Local Prize is open to artists who demonstrate a connection to the municipality of Bayside or the work entered is of local subject matter. There is also a 1,000 People’s Choice Prize.
The Bayside Painting Prize is the only annual painting prize held in Melbourne. Established by Gallery Directors Isobel Beauchamp and Elinor Olisa, the Signature Art Prize was founded to identify and celebrate the unique ‘Signature Style’ of early-career artists. With their extensive experience in the contemporary art market, Beauchamp and Olisa are dedicated to nurturing artistic individuality and supporting new talent.
Selected finalists will be invited to participate in the Signature Art Prize Gala Exhibition in June 2025, where they will have the opportunity to present their work in a prestigious gallery setting. In addition to gallery representation, winners will receive prizes generously provided by their sponsors and the opportunity to take part in a month-long artist residency in a central London studio.

The Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation is excited to announce the fourth in a series of open calls, giving curators, academics, and art historians a platform to stage an exhibition at The 8th Floor, our gallery and event space, at 17 West 17th St. near Union Square, NYC. The foundation is searching for emerging researchers and cultural presenters to realize their pre-existing, and as-yet unrealized exhibition concept. The Access/VSA Emerging Young Artists Program, a Jean Kennedy Smith Arts and Disability Program, showcases the work of visual artists with disabilities, ages 16-25, who reside in the United States. This program is funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) Grant #H421F240164, however, the content does not necessarily represent the policy of the U.S. Department of Education. Fifteen winning artists are selected by a jury. Each winning artist receives a $3,000 award and has one of their submitted pieces selected for an exhibition at the Kennedy Center. Winning artists are required to attend virtual workshops (May 3, May 17, June 14) and an all-expenses-paid series of professional development workshops at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. June 17-21, 2025. Artist must reside in the United States. (Includes 50 states plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Northern Marianas Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and U.S. Virgin Islands.) Artist must have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Artist must be comfortable publicly identifying as an artist with a disability. Artist must be between the ages of 16 and 25.
