Presenting the 2025 "Emerging Artists" international competition and online exhibition. Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their preferred media and style. The competition's theme is "Emerging Artists,". Only artists whose works are selected as finalists will be required to pay a $35 participation fee. Finalists will have their artwork showcased online and advance to the final round of judging, where they will be considered for cash prizes, including the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000.

Music is an art that awakens emotions and imaginative imagery. Many textile makers find a correlation between the notation of musical scores and textile drafts or patterns and use these similarities by blending fibers, patterns, and textures to evoke a feeling like a favorite melody. ALRI invites fiber artists to create works inspired by music for the new exhibition.
In conjunction with Symphony in Fiber: Harmony in Color and Texture, Art League of Rhode Island is excited to present Weavers Duet: The Works of Norma Smayda and Laurie Carlson Steger. Smayda’s and Steger’s works, both independently and collaboratively, are inspired by music.

The LUX Center for the Arts, located in Lincoln, NE, will be hosting its third bi-annual EMERGE mural festival in September of 2025. Three (3) new murals will be created in the University Place neighborhood, Lincoln’s first certified Creative District. This call for artists outlines the details or application.
Three artists will be selected and each will create a mural at a designated location within the UNI Place Creative District. Each artist will receive $4,000 in compensation for their work, as well as a design honorarium. Supplies and materials will be paid for by the LUX Center for the Arts, along with additional administrative coordination assistance.

The 10th Horse and Art Research Program offers an intensive program designed for artists interested in combining equine studies and visual arts. It seeks artists with an interest in horse culture as well as riders with an interest in art. The work includes daily practice and lessons in horsemanship, equestrian archery, and riding. Discussions and lectures focus on fine art research, with each year centered around a different research theme. Now in its 10th year, the program will emphasize body language and communication with horses. Guest lecturers will be invited, and excursions will be organized. The residency concludes with a public exhibition in the Riding Arena Gallery. It welcomes artistic practices from both Western and Eastern traditions. To mark this special anniversary year, a surprise show featuring works by previous participants will be included.

Elf's primary mediums are book arts, casting, cooking, drawing, jewelry, music, lapidary, paper arts, photography, printmaking, weaving, welding, woodworking, and writing. Residencies at Elf run from 1 week up to 3 months. You can apply to experiment, produce a body of work, use specific equipment, or expand on an idea. Because CWA does not own a gallery, each of their three annual exhibitions are held in different noteworthy Connecticut art venues. The Yavapai College Art Gallery in Prescott, Arizona seeks solo-exhibition proposals for its occasional series One Gallery/Two Exhibitions. All mediums will be considered. The YC Visual Arts Department Gallery Committee will select two exhibition proposals, and both solo exhibitions will be featured at Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus Art Gallery from June 11 to August 25, 2025. Each artist will fill about half of their 2,332 square feet of exhibition space (1792 sq/ft of gallery space with a 540 sq/ft movable wall system). The exhibitions will be separated with distinctive titles, labels, lettering and signage. The public exhibition at the YC Prescott Campus Gallery will include a joint opening reception and artist talks, as well as online and print-media promotion.

The University Gallery offers 900 square feet of space with 120 linear feet of wall space. The Harry Krug Gallery has approximately 100 square feet of wall space. The goal of the 2025 Macon Mural Festival (MMF) is to brand Macon, GA as a vibrant and creative destination. This year, they are looking for artists to participate in this 3-day event. Each participating artist will be given a prepped wall to complete their mural and a $1,500 stipend plus $500 for supplies. The Festival will also provide lodging for all artists. Murals can be open theme but must be approved by the business that sponsors the wall. To kick off the festival, artists will arrive in Macon, GA on Thursday, September 11th. The festival will host a kick-off breakfast on Friday, September 12th, and then artists will have all day Friday and Saturday to complete their murals.

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit complete applications to the Manifest Artist Residency program (MAR) located in the vibrant historic urban neighborhoods of East Walnut Hills and Clifton in Cincinnati, Ohio. Applications will be reviewed on a competitive basis. Awards consist of 24/7 use of a private studio, free programming at Manifest Drawing Center, teaching consideration, public exposure, free entry to Manifest calls for entry, potential inclusion in a final showcase exhibit and end of season Manifest Exhibition Annual publication, as well as the presentation of a public artist talk at or near the conclusion of the Residency. Highlights in the wider surroundings are megalithic monuments, abandoned marble quarries, dreamy villages and Évora: a university town with UNESCO world heritage status. They offer professional artists an inspiring residency in a peaceful, rural environment, with good working spaces and support for specific activities (such as open studio and other public events). There will be some seven artists. Each works individually and has all privacy; collaborations are on your own initiative.

The Indiana University Kokomo Art Gallery presents the juried exhibition “Uncanny.” When something has an unordinary or eerie quality, it may be referred to as “uncanny.” Something that evokes a strange and unexplainable aura makes the viewers question reality. When something feels “uncanny” it may resonate as an indescribable experience. They are inviting artists to submit their own artwork that represents an unnatural or otherworldly essence. This exhibition will be on display from June 04 – 25, 2025. The IU Kokomo Art Gallery is located on the Indiana University Kokomo campus.
