Presenting the 2025 "Emerging Artists" international competition and online exhibition. Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their preferred media and style. The competition's theme is "Emerging Artists,". Only artists whose works are selected as finalists will be required to pay a $35 participation fee. Finalists will have their artwork showcased online and advance to the final round of judging, where they will be considered for cash prizes, including the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000.

The Emerging Artists competition celebrates fresh talent and new perspectives, providing a platform for up-and-coming creators. Open to all mediums, it highlights originality and innovation, encouraging artists to explore their unique voices and push creative boundaries.

Innovate Grant awards (2) $1,800.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition, (12) honorable mentions (6 in art and 6 in photo), will be featured on their website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Innovate Grant's commitment extends beyond the grant cycle by promoting the work of selected winners and honorable mentions into the future.

Innovate Grant supports artists and photographers through quarterly grants. They’ve simplified the grant process, so that artists and photographers can focus on making their innovative work. The work should speak for itself and their application reflects that.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 16th Annual “Abstracts” Online Art Competition. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s April 2025 online group exhibition. The gallery invites artists (including photography & digital art), regardless of where they reside, to apply to this competition by submitting their best non-objective and/or non-representational art. Artists should submit their best work in any media before the deadline of March 27, 2025.

Music is an art that awakens emotions and imaginative imagery. Many textile makers find a correlation between the notation of musical scores and textile drafts or patterns and use these similarities by blending fibers, patterns, and textures to evoke a feeling like a favorite melody. ALRI invites fiber artists to create works inspired by music for the new exhibition.

In conjunction with Symphony in Fiber: Harmony in Color and Texture, Art League of Rhode Island is excited to present Weavers Duet: The Works of Norma Smayda and Laurie Carlson Steger. Smayda’s and Steger’s works, both independently and collaboratively, are inspired by music.

The LUX Center for the Arts, located in Lincoln, NE, will be hosting its third bi-annual EMERGE mural festival in September of 2025. Three (3) new murals will be created in the University Place neighborhood, Lincoln’s first certified Creative District. This call for artists outlines the details or application.

Three artists will be selected and each will create a mural at a designated location within the UNI Place Creative District. Each artist will receive $4,000 in compensation for their work, as well as a design honorarium. Supplies and materials will be paid for by the LUX Center for the Arts, along with additional administrative coordination assistance.

Now in its 45th year, Summerfest is a juried fine art and craft festival known for attracting a dedicated art-buying audience. Hosted by the nonprofit Center for the Arts Evergreen, the event takes place on July 19-20, 2025, at Buchanan Park Field in Evergreen, CO. Artists selected through the jury process will showcase gallery-quality fine art and crafts while benefiting from top-tier vendor services. Proceeds support the Center’s year-round art programming.

The 10th Horse and Art Research Program offers an intensive program designed for artists interested in combining equine studies and visual arts. It seeks artists with an interest in horse culture as well as riders with an interest in art. The work includes daily practice and lessons in horsemanship, equestrian archery, and riding. Discussions and lectures focus on fine art research, with each year centered around a different research theme. Now in its 10th year, the program will emphasize body language and communication with horses. Guest lecturers will be invited, and excursions will be organized. The residency concludes with a public exhibition in the Riding Arena Gallery. It welcomes artistic practices from both Western and Eastern traditions. To mark this special anniversary year, a surprise show featuring works by previous participants will be included.

The D Contemporary Open Call and Award is designed to provide emerging and early mid-career artists of all ages and nationalities with the opportunity to showcase their work while receiving support to develop and enhance their practice within their contemporary art gallery in London.​ Finalists of the open call will participate in a group exhibition at their Mayfair gallery and benefit from press exposure. The 2025 Milburn Art Prize for Landscape reflects the evolving nature and aims of BIA to honour Paul Milburn, a much loved and respected tutor who began teaching in 1989 at BIA until his death in 2011. They offer a prize of $10,000, along with approximately 5 highly commended awards of $1,000 each, awarded for a 2d artwork addressing the spirit of Paul Milburn’s legacy and John Peart’s musings on landscape. Accepted media includes painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media and photography. The Milburn Art Prize creates an opportunity for both established and emerging artists to bring a sense of surprise and openness to their interpretation of Landscape, while fostering an enriched dialogue between artists, community and arts industry.

The Denver Chalk Art Festival is an award-winning event that will transform Denver's historical museum district into a colorful street museum. Over the course of two days, 200 professional, amateur, and student artists captivate audiences as they take to the pavement armed with vivid soft pastels and spend hours drawing on their hands and knees. Thousands of festival attendees enjoy food and live music as they watch beautiful chalk pieces come to life. The event is produced by Denver Chalk Art and CherryArts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting arts awareness and education in Denver.

Elf School of the Arts is a nonprofit artist residency in Hayesville, NC. Situated beside the Appalachian Mountains and Lake Chatuge, Elf was originally an elementary school started in 1928, but has been renovated from 2022-2024 into an artist residency and concert venue. Elf's primary mediums are book arts, casting, cooking, drawing, jewelry, music, lapidary, paper arts, photography, printmaking, weaving, welding, woodworking, and writing. Residencies at Elf run from 1 week up to 3 months. You can apply to experiment, produce a body of work, use specific equipment, or expand on an idea. A private bedroom and studio are provided during your stay. The residencies are free, however consumables, materials, food, and travel are not included.

The SRO Photo Gallery at the Texas Tech University School of Art hosts an annual open call for six to eight exhibitions of still photographic artwork to be exhibited between August 2025 and May 2026. Beginning in Fall 2025, we will also be presenting four solo moving image exhibitions to be presented during the same academic year. Portfolio submissions will be reviewed by a committee consisting of the Digital & Narrative Arts faculty and students of the School of Art and the Landmark Arts staff. The SRO Photo Gallery seek portfolios that utilize lens-based art in all styles, techniques, and aesthetic approaches which speak to the ever developing and shifting landscape of contemporary photographic art practice. Consistency in the work as well as creative vision is important in the selection process.

The Olin Art Gallery on the campus of Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, PA is now accepting exhibition proposals in any medium for the 2025/2026 academic year. Proposals may include solo or group exhibitions. Part of Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network (FLAMIN), FLAMIN Productions aims to support the most exciting, innovative and challenging moving image projects with development and production finance. FLAMIN Productions is the only scheme of its kind in the UK. It commissions new, important and substantial moving image artworks that are ambitious in premise and approach, with an emphasis on projects that have strong potential for national and international exhibition and distribution. In 2025, FLAMIN Productions will be investing production funding through an award of £40,000 for one project.

The Phipps Center for the Arts invites artists to submit work for Human x Machine: Exploring Art in the Age of AI, an exhibition that examines the intersections of creativity, technology, and humanity that will take place in the Phipps galleries, September 12-November 2, 2025. This exhibition will include a wide range of perspectives on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the artistic process, from the full embrace of generative AI to artwork that pointedly rejects any AI interventions. The show will explore themes of collaboration, innovation, ethics, and identity.

CWA was founded in 1929 when 20 women artists planned exhibition opportunities for women artists at a time when there were none. They first exhibited in Hartford, CT. at the nation’s first art museum founded in 1842: The Wadsworth Atheneum. CWA is one of the oldest continuing women’s art organizations and is still going strong and growing toward its upcoming centenary. Because CWA does not own a gallery, each of their three annual exhibitions are held in different noteworthy Connecticut art venues. This year’s National Show will be at the spectacular William Benton Museum of Art on the campus of the University of CT.

For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography using a concentration of colors. One color or a multitude of colors meets the criteria for this competition. This is the 9th annual Colors art competition that gallery has held.
This is an international open (no theme) competition so any subject matter and any media are acceptable. All artists, regardless of location or experience, are invited to submit their best representational and/or abstract art and photography.

The Yavapai College Art Gallery in Prescott, Arizona seeks solo-exhibition proposals for its occasional series One Gallery/Two Exhibitions. All mediums will be considered. The YC Visual Arts Department Gallery Committee will select two exhibition proposals, and both solo exhibitions will be featured at Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus Art Gallery from June 11 to August 25, 2025. Each artist will fill about half of their 2,332 square feet of exhibition space (1792 sq/ft of gallery space with a 540 sq/ft movable wall system). The exhibitions will be separated with distinctive titles, labels, lettering and signage. The public exhibition at the YC Prescott Campus Gallery will include a joint opening reception and artist talks, as well as online and print-media promotion.

CACE (Center for Art and Community Enrichment) Gallery of Fine Art is a privately funded initiative of Morgan Community College. Now in its thirteenth year, the Gallery hosts juried art exhibits featuring local, regional and national artists. Admission is free and open to the public Monday through Friday during regular business hours. In addition to regular business hours, the Gallery has extended hours on scheduled Third Thursday Art Walks, artist receptions, and other special occasions and community events throughout the year. Art objects are to be of original concept and design. Both 2D and 3D original art is acceptable and may represent all kinds of art mediums: painting, photography, fiber, charcoal, pastel, ceramic, clay, printmaking, pen & ink, glass, pottery, metals and mixed media.

Arts Letters & Numbers is a year-round Artist Residency providing a creative sanctuary in the historic Faith Mills Complex in rural Upstate New York. The residency fosters an environment of creative urgency and collaboration, offering inspiring spaces like a warm Victorian home, a white barn, and textile mills turned into studios, all surrounded by woods, lakes, and opportunities for connection. Residents have the freedom to shape their workspace and rhythms while engaging in shared meals, bonfire conversations, and community programming, including open studios, workshops, exhibitions, and more. With seasonal residencies lasting 1 to 12 weeks, the program welcomes artists to explore their work and contribute to the inclusive dialogue through proposed projects such as performances or lectures. 

The Department of Art at Pittsburg State University welcomes Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals for the 2025-2026 academic year. Pittsburg State University Department of Art, located in Porter Hall has two galleries, University Gallery and Harry Krug Gallery. The University Gallery offers 900 square feet of space with 120 linear feet of wall space. The Harry Krug Gallery has approximately 100 square feet of wall space. Qualifications are requested from artists interested in creating an artwork for the Colorado 150 Pedestrian Walkway. This project, led by the Office of Governor Polis, is a visionary project connecting the Capitol Complex to Lincoln Veterans Park in Denver, CO. The project is dedicating up to $2 million for the commission of multiple artworks. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2025.

The goal of the 2025 Macon Mural Festival (MMF) is to brand Macon, GA as a vibrant and creative destination. This year, they are looking for artists to participate in this 3-day event. Each participating artist will be given a prepped wall to complete their mural and a $1,500 stipend plus $500 for supplies. The Festival will also provide lodging for all artists. Murals can be open theme but must be approved by the business that sponsors the wall. To kick off the festival, artists will arrive in Macon, GA on Thursday, September 11th. The festival will host a kick-off breakfast on Friday, September 12th, and then artists will have all day Friday and Saturday to complete their murals.

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit complete applications to the Manifest Artist Residency program (MAR) located in the vibrant historic urban neighborhoods of East Walnut Hills and Clifton in Cincinnati, Ohio. Applications will be reviewed on a competitive basis. Awards consist of 24/7 use of a private studio, free programming at Manifest Drawing Center, teaching consideration, public exposure, free entry to Manifest calls for entry, potential inclusion in a final showcase exhibit and end of season Manifest Exhibition Annual publication, as well as the presentation of a public artist talk at or near the conclusion of the Residency. Each application must be accompanied by a $50 non-refundable submission fee.

Grants are offered to American painters aged 45 or older who demonstrate financial need. The primary emphasis is to promote public awareness and a commitment to American art, as well as encouraging interest in painters who lack adequate recognition. A jury made up of three art historians, artists, curators, and critics will review the applications in the late spring. Applicants will be notified no later than July 1, 2025.

The Photo Trouvée Artist Residency is a 10 week virtual program led by Juliana Naufel & Twiggy Boyer--founders of Photo Trouvée Magazine-- in which artists are invited to set goals, carve out time for their art practice, focus on a project and connect with like-minded artists from around the world. Only 9 slots will be available and there is an application process to join the Spring 2025 cohort.

Ten Moir Gallery invites artists and photographers to explore the timeless beauty of "Still Life" in their upcoming online art exhibition. This call for entry celebrates the artistry of arranging everyday objects into compelling compositions that capture the essence of stillness and storytelling. Submissions are open to artists worldwide. The Best in Show winner will receive a cash prize, complimentary entry into the prestigious Blu Sky Artist Award, and have their artwork featured as the official poster for the exhibition. OBRAS-PORTUGAL has a residence in a beautiful rural area. You will have your private apartment with kitchen, bathroom and terrace. The rent is 115 € per week. Several artist studios are available. Highlights in the wider surroundings are megalithic monuments, abandoned marble quarries, dreamy villages and Évora: a university town with UNESCO world heritage status. They offer professional artists an inspiring residency in a peaceful, rural environment, with good working spaces and support for specific activities (such as open studio and other public events). There will be some seven artists. Each works individually and has all privacy; collaborations are on your own initiative.

The Project Studio Program is a one year private studio rented to professional fine artists residing within the New York City metropolitan area. Students are not eligible for the program.
At the conclusion of the studio year, there is a group exhibition of the Project Studio Artists in PS122 Gallery.

The studio term starts Friday, August 1, 2025 and ends Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Art In the Orchard is a walking sculpture trail which winds through Park Hill Orchard's productive fruit gardens. The self-guided trail is about a half-mile long. A walk through the labyrinth adds about a quarter mile. Estimated viewing time might be 2-4 hours. Open all daylight hours from August 12 until Thanksgiving weekend. Please wear sturdy shoes.​ The call for the 8th Biennial Art In the Orchard Sculpture Show is open to everyone, novice or seasoned. Each of the thirty-four selected artists will receive a $750.00 Honorarium. For 2025, 30,000 or more visitors are expected.

The Indiana University Kokomo Art Gallery presents the juried exhibition “Uncanny.” When something has an unordinary or eerie quality, it may be referred to as “uncanny.” Something that evokes a strange and unexplainable aura makes the viewers question reality. When something feels “uncanny” it may resonate as an indescribable experience. They are inviting artists to submit their own artwork that represents an unnatural or otherworldly essence. This exhibition will be on display from June 04 – 25, 2025. The IU Kokomo Art Gallery is located on the Indiana University Kokomo campus. The gallery displays artwork by students, faculty, alumni as well as local, regional and national artists.
