Chadron State College's Art Program and Galaxy Series are accepting exhibition proposal submissions for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years. The exhibitions provide the educational and regional communities with visual art experiences that are aesthetically stimulating and engaging. Exhibition Proposal: Proposals for all forms of visual art, including new media and installations, are encouraged. The exhibition proposals should be professional and cohesive, demonstrate innovative concepts, and be conceptually engaging. Each art exhibition will last approximately four to six weeks and be on display during the academic year. Workshops and gallery talks are also available in conjunction with the exhibit. Solo or group show submissions will be accepted.

The Australian Monoprint Prize is open to Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Their 10th edition of the All About Photo Awards invites photographers from around the world to submit their best work for consideration. In reference to Henri Cartier-Bresson’s photo essay, The Mind’s Eye investigates the depth and thoughts behind each image. Winners will receive $5,000 in cash awards, extensive press coverage and global recognition. The grand prize is $2,500, the 2nd prize is $1,000, the 3rd prize is $750, the 4th prize is $500, and the 5th prize is $250! L’appartement 49C is excited to announce an open call for its upcoming collaborative exhibition, In Tandem, opening Sunday, March 9th, 2025. This exhibition celebrates the magic of partnerships in art, inviting submissions from artist duos, trios, or collectives working in any medium. Fusion Art announces the 2025 Into the Wild Art Competition.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography depicting wildlife. The wildlife theme includes any undomesticated animal species including any wild mammal, wild fish, wild bird or wild reptile.

Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency aims to promote the production and dissemination of Printmaking done in a large format. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, among others. The program is customized according to the participating artist’s goals regarding duration, outcome and focus. They offer the conditions to test possibilities and materialize ideas. The duration of the residency can be from 2 weeks up to 6 months. The residency has to happen between June 1st and November 30th, 2025.

The Anna Maria Island Feed the Peeps Art Show is scheduled for February 7-8, 2025, at Roser Church on Pine Avenue, located on the north end of Anna Maria Island, Florida. The event is situated near restaurants and shops, providing a vibrant setting for artists and vendors to showcase their work. Participants are required to submit five images, including a booth shot, as part of the application process.

The annual Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year competition calls on photographers from around the world to celebrate the fauna, flora and natural formations of the Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and the New Guinea region. Submitted entries capture incredible moments in time, bearing witness to the unique beauty of the world around us.
The competition, owned and produced by the South Australian Museum, results in a stunning collection of images that provoke us to explore and understand the changing nature of the natural environment and appreciate the wonder.
Entries in the 2025 competition are open until 5:00pm (ACDT) on Thursday 6 February 2025. Winners will be announced on Thursday 28 August 2025.

The SCG ART program brings established artists to Placer County for the purpose of teaching and sharing their artistic talents and experience to the greater community. The program was lovingly established at the Placer Community Foundation (PCF) in memory of a local artist, Susan Cooley Gilliom, by her family. This is a national call for artists to apply for this annual residency opportunity. This residency offers a large studio space, funding for projects, and the opportunity to teach workshops in a formal setting.

Queen City Clay invites ceramic artists to submit works for the "Feathers, Fins, and Fur" exhibition, celebrating the diverse world of non-human animals. Submissions should feature animals as the primary form or integrated into decorative elements in sculptural and functional pieces. The exhibition will be juried by Sara Torgison. Selected works will be displayed at Queen City Clay from February 28 to April 10, 2025, with an opening reception on February 28, 2025, from 5–8 pm. Artists are responsible for shipping their work and must ensure pieces are for sale; the gallery takes a 40% commission on sales.

TRAILS invites artists to submit contemporary sculptures to a multi-location interior exhibition, totalling up to 50 finalists. They encourage all artists, established and emerging to participate. Works may be submitted to one of two categories, Large Form and Small Form. Large Form works may be up to a maximum size of 1800mm x 800mm x 800mm, a maximum weight of 30kg. There is no minimum size requirement for Large Form works. Small Form works may be up to a maximum size of 400mm x 300mm x 300mm, a maximum weight of 30kg. Visions Museum of Textile Art (VMOTA) is proud to announce the call for entries for Interpretations 2025, the museum’s 26th international juried exhibition, is open now through February 7, 2025. Exhibition jurors, Holly Brackmann, Luisa Gil Fandino, and Paula Kovarik, will select innovative textile art that explores form and technique of 2D artworks, 2D art quilts, and 3D wall hanging and free-standing work that highlight fiber. Selected works will be featured in a full-color exhibition catalog. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Northglenn Arts is conducting an open entry competition to select six sculptures ─ valued at no more than $35,000 each ─ to be part of Northglenn’s “Art on Parade” on-loan outdoor sculpture program. Each of the six finalists will receive a $1,000 honorarium to help offset their expenses. In addition, $1,000 will be awarded to the artist who is the recipient of the annual “People’s Choice Award.” Artists will receive substantial recognition and opportunity to sell; therefore, all pieces must be for sale. The placement of selected pieces will begin in May, 2025 and will be on display until May, 2026.

The Marblehead Arts Association invites artists nationwide to participate in "Variations 2025," an eight-week juried exhibition showcasing diverse 2D and 3D artworks. Submissions will be evaluated for acceptance and judged for prizes in Fine Art, Photography, and 3D categories. The exhibition runs from April 19 to June 14, 2025, with an opening reception and awards ceremony on April 20, 2025. Artists aged 18 and older are eligible to apply.

The McNeese State University Department of Visual Arts invites artists nationwide to submit entries for the 38th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition. This juried exhibition seeks original artworks completed within the last two years that incorporate paper as a primary element. Selected works will be displayed in the Grand Gallery from March 20 to May 2, 2025, with an opening reception and awards presentation on March 27, 2025.

The Local Contemporary Art Prize 2025 is a highly anticipated annual exhibition at Caloundra Regional Gallery, showcasing the breadth of contemporary arts practice from emerging, mid-career and established visual artists residing on the Sunshine Coast. Caloundra Regional Gallery, in partnership with The Gallery’s Friends, invites artists living within the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions and working across all mediums to submit 2D and 3D works for the Local Contemporary Art Prize 2025. Wild or cultivated, plants of all kinds define landscapes, provide a sense of place, and connect to the natural world. Whether captured in the landscape, a garden, or a studio, they are looking for images that reveal the spirit and character of plants as well as intimate connection to them. All photographic styles and processes are welcome.
They are honored to have Wendi Schneider as juror for Monochrome. She will select up to 35 images for exhibition in our Middlebury, Vermont gallery and another 40 images for their Online Gallery. The Graphic Arts Biennale, established in 1999, is a cyclical review/competition presenting the works of young-generation artists working in the area of graphic arts. IMPORT/EXPORT is the theme of the 14th Graphic Arts Biennale, which will take place in Poznań in the spring of 2025. It refers to the hierarchy of dependencies between core countries and the periphery that lead to cultural self-colonization and perpetuate this division of the world. Here, import and export allude to the exchange of culture-forming artistic phenomena. The competition is addressed to artists from all over the world, aged 18 to 40 years. In stage one, preview files of original graphic works together with a short description of the idea and technique used shall be sent by 10 February 2025 using the online Application Form.

The 24th Annual Gardendale Magnolia Festival, scheduled for April 26, 2025, is an award-winning, family-friendly event held at the Gardendale Civic Center Complex. The festival features over 150 vendors, two stages of live entertainment, a pooch parade, car show, free kid zone, petting zoo, pony rides, and more. Admission and parking are free. Alderworks welcomes writers and artists every summer to work in cabins on the edge of the wilderness in historic and stunningly beautiful Dyea near Skagway, Alaska. The purpose of Alderworks is to enhance the creative process. They host residents in three cabins for 4-6 week summer residencies. Artists also have access to a studio building. Applicants are screened in the winter for the following summer's two residency periods. Residency fee applies.
