Chadron State College's Art Program and Galaxy Series are accepting exhibition proposal submissions for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years. The exhibitions provide the educational and regional communities with visual art experiences that are aesthetically stimulating and engaging. Exhibition Proposal: Proposals for all forms of visual art, including new media and installations, are encouraged. The exhibition proposals should be professional and cohesive, demonstrate innovative concepts, and be conceptually engaging. Each art exhibition will last approximately four to six weeks and be on display during the academic year. Workshops and gallery talks are also available in conjunction with the exhibit. Their 10th edition of the All About Photo Awards invites photographers from around the world to submit their best work for consideration. In reference to Henri Cartier-Bresson’s photo essay, The Mind’s Eye investigates the depth and thoughts behind each image. Winners will receive $5,000 in cash awards, extensive press coverage and global recognition. The grand prize is $2,500, the 2nd prize is $1,000, the 3rd prize is $750, the 4th prize is $500, and the 5th prize is $250! Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency aims to promote the production and dissemination of Printmaking done in a large format. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, among others. In addition, $1,000 will be awarded to the artist who is the recipient of the annual “People’s Choice Award.” Artists will receive substantial recognition and opportunity to sell; therefore, all pieces must be for sale. They are honored to have Wendi Schneider as juror for Monochrome. She will select up to 35 images for exhibition in our Middlebury, Vermont gallery and another 40 images for their Online Gallery. It refers to the hierarchy of dependencies between core countries and the periphery that lead to cultural self-colonization and perpetuate this division of the world. Here, import and export allude to the exchange of culture-forming artistic phenomena. The competition is addressed to artists from all over the world, aged 18 to 40 years. The Town of Carbondale, CO Public Art Commission is seeking 15 outdoor street sculptures for the annual rotating "Art Around Town" show. Each artist is allowed the opportunity to display up to four original sculptures with a $1,000 honorarium per sculpture awarded, upon selection by the Selection Committee. A $250 travel allowance for out-of-town artists will also be awarded.
This highly recognized and esteemed show is located in downtown Carbondale on Main St. and the Rio Grande Trail. An Artist Reception and Community Art Walk takes place on June 5, 2025, and offers every artist an opportunity to market and speak about their sculpture.

La Porte Peinte is an international arts centre located in Noyers sur Serein, a medieval village in Burgundy that is recognized as one of the 100 most beautiful villages in France. Alderworks welcomes writers and artists every summer to work in cabins on the edge of the wilderness in historic and stunningly beautiful Dyea near Skagway, Alaska. Applicants are screened in the winter for the following summer's two residency periods. Residency fee applies.
