This international competition welcomes visual artists of all styles and backgrounds to submit their artistic creations to earn grants, enhanced exposure, and reach art professionals, collectors, and enthusiasts in more than 150 countries worldwide.

Fusion Art announces the Light & Shadow 2025 Art Competition.

For this competition, both 2D & 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best artwork depicting light and shadow. Whether color or black and white, the artwork should focus on the dramatic placement and effects of light and shadow over the canvas or through the lens.

The Arroscia Residency an artist run, 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation open to all emerging and mid-career artists who’s focus is on one or more of the following disciplines: painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, fiber art, photography, installations, and/or mixed media work.

This is an invitation for artists, cultural workers who are descendants of the African Diaspora to apply for resources to support periodic facilitated spaces that support Black inquiry, multi-valent learning and expansion. Black Spatial Relics is a convening space for and supporter of Black radical performance, community care, collective research and transformative gathering. Founded in 2016, Black Spatial Relics has championed new performance work about slavery, justice and freedom through its residency, microgrant and convening programs. As a continuation of that work, Black Spatial Relics team is excited to launch its new flagship program - Conjure Council Funds.

The Material Works Art Award supports artists through a one-time $2500.00 grant in exchange for an original artwork that will join their growing contemporary art collection. This award recognizes artistic excellence and aims to promote career advancement through increasing visibility and exposure.

They are currently accepting applications from artists with contemporary art practices. Visual artists working worldwide in painting, photography, installation, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, mixed-media, experimental, and conceptual art are eligible to apply. Please note that submissions for music, writing/poetry, and time-based media are not being accepted at this time.

The House hosts the Envelope Art Contest every year in honor of Edward Gorey’s prodigious legacy of envelope art. It is a tradition beloved by House staff and patrons alike — and deeply feared by their local postal workers.

You may submit multiple entries for different projects/works, there is no limit.

The deadline to submit all works is December 10th, 2025. Please note that submissions may close prior to this date if capacity is reached. We encourage artists to apply early, as space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Artists may submit up to 3 artworks per project submission

You can enter multiple times and in each submission you will have the opportunity to upload 3 items

Artists must ensure high quality of images, at least 300 dpi jpeg recommended.

Artwork images and bio must be uploaded directly ( we will not be accepting any works via email)

Bio must be under 300 words.

FALL 2025 OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS — Innovate Grant is thrilled to introduce their newly increased award amounts of $1,800.00.

Innovate Grant awards (2) $1,800.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition, (12) honorable mentions (6 in art and 6 in photo), will be featured on their website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Innovate Grant's commitment extends beyond the grant cycle by promoting the work of selected winners and honorable mentions into the future.

Innovate Grant supports artists and photographers through quarterly grants. They've simplified the grant process, so that artists and photographers can focus on making their innovative work. The work should speak for itself and their application reflects that.

Seeking Tri-State Area artists who investigate nature with the curiosity of a scientist and the eye of an artist. Oglebay Institute's Stifel Fine Arts Center, in partnership with historic Bethany College, will host a national exhibition of collegiate ceramic art in February and March 2026. This exhibit will celebrate and honor the college ceramic artist and run in conjunction with Earth & Fire 2026. The juror will be Earth & Fire 2025 best in show artist Ruth Douzinas.

UNTITLED 20: SooVAC’s 20TH Annual Juried Show

SooVAC is now taking submissions for Untitled 20, one of their flagship exhibition series. SooVAC invites guest jurors with local, national, and international reputations to select work from open submissions. Untitled offers artists the opportunity to work with a professional art space and influential art figures toward producing an exhibition with a highly regarded reputation. The work will be selected from the submitted work samples, so make sure that the work is available for exhibition.

GUEST JUROR: Tamara Khasanova, an independent curator, researcher and writer based in Brooklyn, New York originally from Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards is a major program providing exceptional opportunities for creators and filmmakers. The shortlisted filmmakers are flown to Los Angeles for an exclusive four-day event to gain unparalleled insight into all aspects of the filmmaking process to advance their careers. After the workshop program the filmmakers will attend an awards ceremony at Sony Pictures Studios.

Artists of all disciplines creating in any media are welcome to apply. Farm Studio International Artist Residency is located in a rural community in India. Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Farm Studio residency provides three types of working spaces where artists can explore their art and ideas in the rural Rajasthani environment; at the Farm Studio indoor studios, the outdoor desert and farm environments, and in Andore Village. Collaboration and experimentation is encouraged. Relationships form between the artists coming from different countries and varied social, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. Many exciting exchanges and dialogues among artists take place, including scheduled artist talks, presentations, works in progress showings, etc.

Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA) is central to Northern Arizona’s vibrant creative culture, fostering an engaged, equitable, and imaginative community. Managed by Creative Flagstaff, CCA serves the arts, science, and cultural sectors of Flagstaff. CCA’s facilities include a 4000 sq ft Main Gallery, an adjacent 215 sq ft Project Gallery, and an intimate 200-seat Theater. CCA is located on US 180 in route to the Grand Canyon. CCA invites exhibition proposals from artists, curators, and cultural organizations for rolling review by the CCA Exhibitions Selection Committee. The Main Gallery hosts 3-4 major exhibitions annually, with a rotation of 4-6 exhibitions in the Project Gallery. Interdisciplinary proposals that include digital media or installation elements are encouraged.

The Gallery at Graphite is seeking proposals for high quality art exhibits for their 760 sq ft gallery space in downtown Edmonds. Curators and established art groups (societies, associations, clubs, leagues, etc.) are encouraged to apply with a proposal.  The Gallery at Graphite is a program of the non-profit organization Art Start Northwest.
