Ucross strives to provide a respectful, comfortable, and productive environment, freeing artists from the pressures and distractions of daily life. Each year, they provide residencies to approximately 115 individuals. Residencies range from two weeks to six weeks in length. At any one time, there are up to ten individuals in residence, typically four writers, four visual artists, and two composers. Ucross provides each artist with living accommodations, meals, work space, and uninterrupted time so that the artists can focus on their creative process. Residents are responsible for providing their own working materials and for their travel to Sheridan, Wyoming. There is no charge for a residency. The residency program is open to visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, interdisciplinary artists, performance artists, and collaborative teams.

The Jentel Artist Residency Program offers dedicated individuals a supportive environment in which to further their creative development. Here artists and writers experience unfettered time to allow for thoughtful reflection on the creative process in a setting that preserves the agricultural and historical integrity of the land. Solitude is balanced with opportunity to form a community. Jentel awards residencies to artists and writers who are focused and serious about their intent, who may have proven themselves by publication or solo exhibition or who may not necessarily be well known, but who have developed a personal vision or personal voice in their work. The program welcomes visual artists in all media and writers in fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry.

The Bryn Du Art Show is an annual juried exhibition held at the beautiful Bryn Du Mansion. Just east of Columbus, this historic Federal-style mansion has dominated the landscape of the 52-acre estate in the charming Village of Granville, Ohio since 1905. This year’s 21st Annual Art Show will be held from March 7-29, 2025 featuring current works of visual art. The Blake School in the Twin Cities, MN, welcomes proposals for its 2025-2026 McGuire Visiting Artist residency. Established in 1993 by Dr. Bill and Nadine McGuire, the biennial program seeks a teaching artist to collaborate with visual art faculty and students in grades Pre-K through 12.
Their most successful McGuire visiting artists enrich Blake’s visual arts curriculum with their cultural diversity, hands-on learning experiences, and community-driven art projects. The program’s structure is flexible and a residency will be scheduled between October 2025 and April 2026. Minimum residency length is two weeks. The typical budget range is $4,000 to $6,500. Travel and lodging expenses are typically covered for resident artists from outside the Twin Cities Metro Area.

The Art Colony provides artists with independent work space in professional studios amidst the backdrop of a stunning landscape. An environment of creative freedom supports the process and development of new works, allowing for a combination of aesthetic inquiry, creative risk-taking, experimentation, and artistic development. The Art Colony has two application periods for self-guided residencies. This application is for artists who are looking to schedule a residency from January - June, 2025. Self-guided residencies are fee-based residencies. Artists can work with outside grant sources to fund their time at the Art Colony. The Art Colony also has scholarships available through the Belvo/Jorgenson Scholarship Fund.

The Don Bachardy Fellowship at the Royal Drawing School enables a gifted and dedicated post-graduate artist from outside the United Kingdom to join the Royal Drawing School during the Summer Term each year. The fellowship gives one artist the opportunity to join London’s vibrant art scene, with the School’s Shoreditch campus and artists' studios located in the heart of East London’s art, design and fashion scene.
The next Don Bachardy Fellowship will take place during the Royal Drawing School Summer Term 28 April – 5 July 2025. The Don Bachardy Fellow will spend 3 full days per week for ten weeks, drawing alongside postgraduate students studying on the Royal Drawing School's MA level programme, The Drawing Year.
To assist with travel and accommodation costs, the Don Bachardy Fellow will be awarded a $5,000 stipend.

The Hambidge Center is situated on 600 forested acres in the mountains of north Georgia and offers miles of nature trails, meadows, waterfalls, a swimming hole and an abundance of wildflowers.
The oldest residency program in the Southeast, Hambidge provides a self-directed program that honors the creative process and trusts individuals to know what they need to cultivate their talent, whether it’s to work and produce, to think, to experiment or to rejuvenate. Residents’ time is their own; there are no workshops, critiques, nor required activities.
Each resident is given their own private studio which provides work and living space with a bathroom and full kitchen. The studios are designed to protect residents’ time, space and solitude.

Bighorn Canyon will be taking applications for the 2025 season. The park is looking for four artists to participate in 2025. Applications will be taken from November 15, 2024 to January 31, 2025.
Artists in this program will be able to discover and interpret Bighorn Canyon through their own creative projects. Writers, sculptors, musicians, composers, photographers, painters, culinary and performing artists are all welcome to apply for this program.
To apply, artists must submit a resume and a letter of intent via email to Christy Fleming, Interpretation and Education Division Lead ([email protected]). The letter should include why the artist is interested in helping to preserve Bighorn Canyon’s resources through their work, a rough idea of when the artist is available, one reference, and photos or online links to their work."

The Untitled Space invites artists to apply for a Solo Exhibition to take place at the gallery in Tribeca, New York in 2025. The selected artist will be awarded a solo exhibition that will be presented as an in-person solo show at the gallery on Lispenard Street located in the Tribeca Arts District of New York City. The solo exhibition will be supported by an online exclusive of the exhibition on Artsy, as well as special coverage of the exhibition on a variety of media outlets including The Untitled Magazine, Art Forum, Art Week, and Widewalls, among many other publications. The exhibition will be promoted online on the gallery’s websites, social media channels, and on a variety of publishing platforms.

Calling all artists – SWELL’s indoor autumn exhibition is back! Local, national, and international artists working in 2D and 3D multidisciplinary mediums are invited to apply. Incinerator Gallery and Moonee Valley City Council invite expressions of interest from First Nations artists for a playable public art sculpture commission. The artwork will be temporarily installed at Incinerator Gallery to coincide with a major exhibition in mid-2025, before being permanently relocated to the neighbouring Maribyrnong River in Aberfeldie, Victoria, on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country. For over 40,000 years, the Maribyrnong River has been a site of significant cultural connection for the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung First Peoples. Drawing on the diverse histories of the river, artists are encouraged to design a sculpture that explores themes of childhood, play, togetherness, and renewal. The design will reflect the river’s cultural and environmental significance, creating a public art sculpture that fosters inter-generational exchange.

In honor of the WNBA All-Star Weekend, to be hosted in Indianapolis July 18-20, 2025, the Indy Arts Council will commission a new portrait mural depicting former Indiana Fever player and WNBA All-Star Tamika Catchings. Artists are invited to provide their interest and qualifications for this project. $60,000, covers artist fees, labor, and materials for a site approximately 45 ft. h. x 30 ft. w. (approx. 1350-1500 s.f.). With each mural the Arts Council commissions, Indy Arts Council offer the opportunity for an emerging Indianapolis-based muralist to serve as an apprentice to the lead artist. Apprentice artists spend approximately 100 hours working with the lead artist from design development through completion, learning how to design, plan, and paint a major civic-scale artwork. Apprentices are paid between $3,500 and $5,000 depending on the nature of the site.

Chadron State College's Art Program and Galaxy Series are accepting exhibition proposal submissions for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years. The exhibitions provide the educational and regional communities with visual art experiences that are aesthetically stimulating and engaging. Exhibition Proposal: Proposals for all forms of visual art, including new media and installations, are encouraged. The exhibition proposals should be professional and cohesive, demonstrate innovative concepts, and be conceptually engaging. Each art exhibition will last approximately four to six weeks and be on display during the academic year. Workshops and gallery talks are also available in conjunction with the exhibit.
