Art Ability is dedicated to creating community awareness of cognitive and physical disabilities, encouraging people with disabilities to reach beyond their limitations and find fulfillment and inspiration through art. Art Ability provides positive role models for people with disabilities while increasing their access to the arts. The program successfully develops new markets for artists with disabilities where they can gain recognition for their technical skill and artistic vision. The annual exhibit and sale will be on display at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, Pennsylvania, from November 9, 2025 to February 1, 2026 and will be open to the public during the hospital's visiting hours. The event will kick off with a ticketed preview party and fundraising dinner on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Sarratt Gallery at Vanderbilt University is pleased to announce this call for Celebrating American Craft 2025.
This exhibit is open to all professional craft based artists that are 18 years and older and residing in the United States. All work must be original designs from the artist. All craft art made with clay, metals, wood, fiber arts, and glass will be considered. Works may range from functional to sculptural and should be made primarily of one of the craft mediums. The jury panel will be tasked with finding the best examples of each medium and for strengths in techniques as well as creative expression. Invited Artists are responsible for expense of shipping their work to the Gallery and the Gallery will pay return shipping costs. Invited artists may also deliver and pick up their work but this is at their own expense. All works must have been created in the past five years and may be for sale or from collections (NFS).

Artists are asked to submit an artwork that reflects what makes Brisbane and its surrounding attractions unique. Tell the story of what you love about Brisbane and your connection to it through your art. All entries must be accompanied by a statement further describing the connection of the artwork to the Greater Brisbane area. The finalist exhibition will open at Petrie Terrace Gallery on Wednesday 3rd September, and will be on display at from Thursday 4th September to Sunday 28th September. Artwork must be 2D and a painting or drawing in any medium. For works using collage or mixed media, the painting or drawing must be the predominant technique displayed.

Whitelock Art Center in New York, USA, is issuing a global call for entries for the “2025 New York International Art Competition – The Light from the Other Shore.”
The announcement of award winners and the online exhibition will take place from July 27 to August 27, 2025.
The competition will present the following awards: Grand Exhibition Prize, Gold Prize, Silver Prize, Bronze Prize, and Excellence Award. Winners will be selected by the Academic Committee Jury of the Whitelock Art Center. Award recipients will receive official honor certificates and be featured in major mainstream and art media outlets both in the United States and internationally, in addition to an online exhibition.

Salt Lake County plans to contract with an artist or artist team to create one or more unique exterior artworks that will be installed on the site of the new Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Arts Center. In addition, each semi-finalist will be required to present their proposal in person to the Selection Committee on October 14th, 2025. The meeting will take place in Salt Lake City, and each semi-finalist will have up to one hour to present their proposal. Semifinalists will receive a $2,500 honorarium to prepare and present their proposals. This honorarium is inclusive of any expenses incurred for the creation of their proposal, including travel expenses, hotel, shipping, etc.
