Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) is seeking 10 artists to participate in the 2025 Plein Air Festival as “Select Artists” based on the merit of their portfolio.

The total 2025 prize amount is $15,000, with an exciting $10,000 first prize, newly named the Edmund Craig Memorial Award. The award includes $10,000 to the award recipient and the opportunity to exhibit at Artspace111 in a separate solo or group exhibition in 2026.

2025 marks the 29th presentation of the Parkside National Print Exhibition over thirty years since the first show opened at UW-Parkside. For three decades, the PNPE has shown some of the finest examples of original prints from artists nationwide. It is one of the longest-running competitive print exhibitions in the Midwest; founded at UW-Parkside in 1987 by printmaking professor Doug DeVinny. This tradition continues without size limitations in the Emile H. Mathis Gallery in the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts & Humanities at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The exhibition will take place Aug 19- Nov 21, 2025, including a public reception, announcement of awards, and juror’s remarks on Wed, Sep 10, 4-6 PM. A full-color catalog will accompany this exhibition.

Get ready to bring your zaniest, spookiest ideas to life! They’re calling all artists to apply for a fully funded 1-5 week residency to participate in the 2025 Wassaic Project Haunted Mill! The Haunted Mill will be open to the public 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on October 24th, October 25th, and October 26th, 2025.

Haunted Mill artists will have access to housing in one of their residency houses for 1 - 5 weeks between October 1st to November 3rd, 2025, private studio space in Maxon Mills, and additional space in the Luther Barn. They’re offering $500 - $800 honorariums (depending on the scope of the project) to participating artists and artistic teams for your hard work and creativity.

Film London and Arts Council England present The FLAMIN Fellowship, a major development programme for early-career artist filmmakers living in England. Part of Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network (FLAMIN), the Fellowship aims to support the most exciting, innovative and challenging moving image practices, with development and £2,500 funding for new work.

The City of Tamarac, Florida is seeking to commission an artist or artist team to design seven (7) sculptural benches to be located at the City’s Sportsplex located at 9901 N.W. 77 Street, Tamarac, Florida 33321. The benches should serve both functional and artistic purposes and incorporate the city’s brand and various sports themes. Three artists /artist teams will be selected as semi-finalists to develop and present design proposals. Each will receive a $1,500 stipend. The winning artist will be awarded a $50,000 contract to include permitting, artist fees, production, materials, insurance, travel, delivery, and other incidental expenses. Deadline: June 3, 2025

Emerging artists are invited to apply for the 2025 British Ceramics Biennial Fresh exhibition, taking place in Stoke-on-Trent. Each exhibitor will receive a £300 exhibition payment and £50 towards the transportation of the work to and from the exhibition venue. The Fresh Talent Prizes seek to recognise artists of significant emerging talent exhibiting in Fresh. Four early-career artists will be awarded a Fresh Talent Prize, comprising a cash award and a residency through partnerships with Guldagergaard International Ceramics Research Center in Denmark, Grymsdyke Farm in Buckinghamshire, University of Staffordshire and the BCB Studio, both of which are based in Stoke-on-Trent. Fresh Talent Prize winners are also invited to show their work at the next Biennial, taking place in autumn 2027.

Salem Art Association (SAA) invites artists to apply for and participate in the 76th annual Salem Art Fair & Festival in 2025. This honored 76-year-old event is one of the largest of its kind in the Pacific Northwest and draws artists from around the country. Art Fluent’s grant cycle is now open to individual artists through an international open call. The Evolution Grant will provide unrestricted funding to an individual artist with recognized artistic excellence in fine art media and a demonstrated commitment to their art.

Brashnar Artist-in-Residence (BAiR) is an artist owned and operated urban artist residency program located in the neighborhood Hrom on the west side of Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. BAiR is a multi-faceted residency program allowing resident artists the freedom to explore the potentials of their practice while experiencing Macedonian culture through group related activities. As an artist led project, Brashnar Creative Project aims to directly influence the process of decentralization of the arts and culture in Skopje. While residing at BAiR, residents live in an open, communal style environment situated in a family-oriented neighborhood. During their residency, residents are encouraged to embrace the local culture and to engage the surrounding community while living at the Art House.

Enter your made-from-paper 2D or 3D artwork during the month of June 2025. The artwork for Paper Made II must be made primarily from paper or a paper product or created using a paper-making process. Juried selections will be featured in the fall 2025 issue of Fiber Art Now and will be eligible for the on-site exhibition at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art in Fort Wayne, Indiana, November 8, 2025 through February 1, 2026.

Tattoo is one of the oldest, most personal art forms, blending bodily ornamentation with a deep-rooted expression of identity and community. From the traditions of Polynesia (the word “tattoo” deriving from the Samoan word Tatau) celebrating ancestry and life events, to symbols of gang affiliation or naval service, tattoos carry shared meanings and stories that are taken with a person for the rest of their lives. In the Circumpolar regions of North America, tattoos are a female rite of passage that marks important events in a woman’s life, such as the transition from girlhood to womanhood, or the birth of a child. Many indigenous cultures are making efforts to destigmatize tattoos in colonized regions of the world, as in New Zealand, as a way for Māori to reclaim their cultural identity.

Art Through The Lens 2025 is open to all without restrictions on content. It provides photographers an outlet for their art, encouragement for growth in their vision and presentation and cash rewards for works of exceptional merit. Each year from the works submitted, 50-70 images are selected for exhibition by a highly qualified juror. $1,000 in cash awards will be given to works of high merit. Art Through The Lens 2025 will be on display from July 29th – September 13th.

Viridian Artists Gallery is having its 33rd international juried exhibition. It will be Juried by Jim Kempner of Jim Kempner Fine Arts. Thirty artists will be selected with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes awarded. Also, included will be a Director's Choice digital exhibit to be on view during the exhibition. The Joyce Spencer Textile Awards are to support regional NSW textile artists or collectives to deliver new artworks or exhibitions. Named after the textile artist Joyce Spencer (1928 – 2019), the awards are made possible with funds from the Spencer family and Western Riverina Arts, in partnership with the Cad Factory. One Fellowship of $4000 will be awarded to a mid-career artist or group to assist in achieving their outcome. A $1500 Highly Commended Award and a $600 Prize will also be awarded. For projects delivered between July 2025 and December 2027. Round 5 Expressions of Interest will open on 30 April 2025 and close on 11 June 2025.

Calling all photographers! Enter the Mullins Conceptual Photography Prize 2025 for a chance to win $30,000. The Australian Photographic Society’s Mullins Conceptual Photography Prize is a national $30,000 acquisitive prize that seeks to find Australia’s best conceptual photographic works. Finalists of the prize are exhibited annually at Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre with the prize-winning work joining the Muswellbrook Shire Art Collection, and a collection of contemporary photographic works acquired through the Muswellbrook Photographic Award (1987 – 2014). Small Works: 47th Harper College National Juried Exhibition

Small Works is a national juried show of artwork no more than 24” in its largest dimension (including frame). All media are eligible except jewelry, film/video. All entries are judged from digital files. One $30 nonrefundable fee entitles each artist to submit up to three entries. Purchase awards may be available for accepted work. Accepted artists may be selected for a solo show at Harper College. A color catalog will be published in conjunction with the exhibition.

The Ferrara Showman Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit works for the 29th Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS International Juried Exhibition. This exhibition aims to showcase emerging talents in contemporary art, providing a platform for artists to gain recognition and gallery representation. Selected works will be exhibited from late August through mid-October 2025, with opening receptions coinciding with the Arts District New Orleans’ First Saturday Gallery Openings in September and October. The Grand Prize winner will be awarded a solo exhibition at the gallery in the following year.

Applications are now open! This year they are asking you to reflect with a theme of remembrance. Your artwork could be inspired by a memory of a person or a place, a recollection of something past or present, or simply a feeling of nostalgia, but it is entirely up to your personal interpretation - what does memory mean to you?

OPEN OPEN 2025: Wish You Were Here will be on display at The Chapel Gallery from Thursday 3 July until Saturday 26 July. The gallery is free to visit, and will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11am - 4pm.

Artists can submit up to 2 artworks for £15, and £10 for a third entry. There is a concession for CAS Associate Artists: £10 for up to 2 artworks, and £5 for a third entry. (You can submit a maximum of 3 artworks). All artists must be over the age of 16.

The In Between Gallery is a temporary exhibition platform for Fabrica’s picture window in central Brighton. This exciting initiative is now in its eighth year. Fabrica is partnering with Spectrum Photographic, Photo Fringe and Jane & Jeremy to present excellent photographic work by UK-based artists who consider themselves to be early to mid-career. The image would be exhibited from December 2025 – April 2026, though may be occasionally removed for very short periods around Fabrica’s venue hire commitments.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their “Summer 5 for $10” 2025 Online Art Competition.

For this competition, all 2D and 3D artists, from around the world, are called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s “Summer 5 for $10” online group art exhibition.

This is an “Open” (No Theme) art competition and the gallery invites artists, regardless of where they reside, to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational and/or abstract art.

The artwork for this competition does NOT need to be “Summer” themed. Any subject matter and any media are acceptable for consideration.

Giertz Gallery at Parkland College seeks exhibition proposals by solo artists, collaborative groups, or curators in all genres of contemporary approaches to art-making. Preference will be given to artists with an established exhibition record. Giertz Gallery is a professionally designed gallery devoted primarily to education through contemporary art. It hosts seven exhibitions annually, including one student exhibition, one Art and Design Faculty Show, and a National Invitational. Other shows vary depending on applications and the vision of the Director and Advisory Board.

Giertz Gallery is more than just an exhibition space. It's a dynamic platform that brings contemporary art to the forefront. Our teaching gallery hosts programs featuring professional artists, allowing faculty to use the gallery as an instructional resource. This setup benefits our students and the community, who get to experience the artwork firsthand, and the artists, who can share their creative process and artistic journey. 

Submitting a proposal to Giertz Gallery is a simple and straightforward process. Our exhibits run for approximately six weeks, and the artist is responsible for expenses and insurance during the artwork's transportation to the gallery. We provide return shipping or an honorarium to cover return travel expenses. Additionally, we offer an honorarium for participating in visiting artist activities such as lectures, gallery talks, and workshops. To apply, please submit 20 images (including at least one installation image if possible), a list of titles, sizes, dates, and media, a resume or CV with an exhibition record, and an artist statement related to this body of work.
