Art Ave began as an initiative of the Daybreak Arts Council in 2019 and is a yearly rotating outdoor public art display. FEED Media Art Center, in partnership with Erie Art Company, invites digital artists from around the globe to participate in OPEN FEED 2025, an exhibition and residency program exploring the vast landscape of digital art. The Open FEED 2025 Onsite Residency is an opportunity for media artists to prototype and finish artworks using FEED’s unique resources. David Roche Gallery is excited to announce the inaugural Best in Show 2025: Australian Photographic Dog Prize. Established as a biannual prize to celebrate Australian dogs and pay homage to the legacy of their founder, David Roche AM (1930-2013). From David’s famous Fermoy Kennels in North Adelaide his dogs won awards nationally and internationally from the 1950s to the early 2010s. Particularly known for his Afghan Hounds and Kerry Blue Terriers, David holds the record for having won more Best in Shows at Royal Shows than any other Australian. Best in Show 2025: Australian Photographic Dog Prize is open to amateur and professional photographers with a first prize of $5000. The Young photographer category offers a first prize of $500 and the People’s Choice Award $500.

Trieste Contemporanea is pleased to announce that the 2025 edition of the Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea Award YEATCA is now open! Sanchez Art Center (SAC) invites California artists (18+) to submit an entry to participate in the 50|50 Show. This annual event — in its 17th year — is a renowned celebration of artist creativity and perseverance. Artists create 50 small works (6” x 6”) over the course of 50 days. The exhibition of the artworks will run Sept 5 – Oct 5, 2025. Each artist chooses a (10 word or less) theme for all 50 pieces. Creation of works by participating artists will begin Mon, June 23 and end Mon, Aug 11, 2025. Entries must be submitted online by 10:59 pm Pacific Daylight Time.

Presenting Art Collide’s "Open Theme”, Summer 2025, international competition and online exhibition. Nested in the heart of a dynamic city, Tirana Art Residency – Vila 31 x Art Explora aims to support contemporary creation in all its forms, within a transdisciplinary and transgenerational perspective. Opened in January 2025, Vila 31 x Art Explora runs a dynamic cultural programme in collaboration with local stakeholders, institutions, schools, and associations, including exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, discussions, and festivals open to all. Each resident benefits from: A 3 months residency in Vila 31, in Tirana, a studio-apartment (only one double bed), fully equipped and furnished, a grant of 800 euros per month, a production grant of up to 1,500 euros, and a round trip to the residence.

The Painting Center is seeking submissions for the juried group exhibition Turned and Turning Still curated by Kellie Lehr, Jamie Powell and Lisa Petker Mintz. The exhibition will be on view from June 24 - July 19, 2025, and will be featured on Artsy. Turned and Turning Still invites work that honors transformation and material experimentation, exploring the act of becoming, where materials, techniques, and subjects are always in motion and always turning still. All visual art styles and mediums will be considered for this exhibition. The deadline to apply is May 30, 2025.

Echoes of Ice is an international exhibition exploring Iceland's glaciers through diverse creative expressions. To be held online and in Skaftafell National Park throughout the summer of 2025, it responds to the UN's International Year of Glaciers' Preservation by inviting creatives and scientists to show case work that reflects on the past, present, and future of these landscapes.

Currently seeking 2025 Visiting Artists! Sloss Furnaces Foundation hosts three, 8-week Visiting Artists throughout the year, typically in the Summer (June-Aug) and Fall (Sept-Nov). This program is designed for artists interested in developing their studio practice and honing technical skills. Visiting Artists will be provided with a furnished apartment near Sloss Furnaces, casting materials, and 24-hour studio access in Sloss' historic casting shed. Visiting Artists are expected to have a final exhibition at The 600 at the conclusion of their residency. The majority of the work is to be displayed for up to a year, with the option to sell throughout the exhibition. Artists are expected to donate one piece from their residency to Sloss Furnaces' permanent collection.

In this grant program, the Jonathan and Barbara Silver Foundation’s goal is to encourage and support sculptors as well as writers on sculpture, both emerging and established.

The JBSF offers one $20,000 grant per year.

The JBSF grant program operates on a 2-year cycle with alternating grants that support writing in even years and sculpture in odd years. Applications are now open for the sculpture grant. The next writing grant application will be available in 2026.

Funds will go toward creating a work or a body of work that is essential to the artist’s development and a contribution to sculpture as a field.

The sculpture grant is specifically for an artist who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to sculpture that includes an informed and imaginative engagement with its materials, histories, and situation.

The writing grant is specifically for a writer who generates fresh writing and thinking on the history, aesthetics, purposes, imagination or situation of sculpture.

The grant recipient is expected to complete the project within one year of receiving the award.

DVAA is now accepting applications for our 2025 Fellowship program. Inspired by the vision of DVAA’s founders to provide a creative refuge for marginalized artists, the DVAA Fellowship Program was created in 2018 to better serve the DVAA Membership and the arts communities of Philadelphia. They annually support underserved artists with innovative ideas through four distinct Fellowship tracks. Fellows accepted into the program are encouraged to develop and pursue experimental concepts and themes within their exhibition with the support of DVAA staff and resources. Must be Over 18 and planning to live in the greater Philadelphia region during the full year of the program.

The Olympic Heritage | Artists in Residence programme provides artists with a unique experience and unparalleled access to museum collections, mentorship, expert support and resources to create innovative, boundary-pushing digital art inspired by Olympic history.
Two artists will be selected by an esteemed and prestigious international jury for a two-month residency. The resulting artworks and artists’ digital diaries (films) will be selected and accessioned into the permanent collections of QOSM (Doha residency) and the Olympic Museum (Swiss residency), as part of a growing body of Olympic art in each institution.
Their international jury will assess artists' proposals based on their creativity, technical skill, and the strength of their ideas to redefine sports culture through digital innovation.

This exhibition seeks to merge Afrocentrism—a worldview that recenters people of African descent in historical, cultural, and artistic narratives—with eclecticism, an approach that embraces diverse influences, styles, and mediums. Inspired by Molefi Asante’s philosophy of reclaiming African diasporic identity, this exhibition creates a space for BIPOC artists to explore, celebrate, and challenge perceptions of Blackness across time, space, and artistic expression. Artists working in all mediums are invited to submit works that reflect the depth and multiplicity of Black diasporic identities—seen and unseen, shared and personal, historical and futuristic. This exhibition encourages a dialogue on how Blackness is experienced, imagined, and expressed across different cultural landscapes.

The 8th Annual PROUD+ Exhibition will be held July 3 - August 2, 2025, during San Diego Pride Month, showcasing the work of LGBTQ+ artists from across the country. Produced by The Studio Door, this national exhibition celebrates the unique perspectives and voices of the LGBTQ+ community through contemporary art. For nearly a decade, PROUD+ has provided a vital platform for LGBTQ+ artists to express their creativity, identity, and lived experiences. From bold declarations of self to quiet explorations of inner worlds, this exhibition seeks to highlight the richness and diversity of LGBTQ+ life and culture. Artists are invited to submit works that reflect their own interpretations of pride, resilience, and community.

In 2021, DVAA expanded their Fellowship by adding a Studio Residency program. This program was created to support underrepresented artists from a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and experience levels at pivotal stages in the development of their artistic practices. Each Resident receives one month of 24/7 studio access in the residency space at DVAA, support from the DVAA staff throughout their residency year, and a year of professional development opportunities alongside the rest of the Fellowship and Residency Cohort. Hands OFF – Hands On Art will be a juried exhibition of small works to be shown at Kehler Liddell Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut taking place in Summer 2025. c.r.e.t.a. rome organizes artist residencies for periods of 4 weeks in the spring, summer and fall. The 2024/25 residencies include a shared equipped studio, some technical assistance, access to several electric kilns, advice on museums, galleries and sites in Rome and beyond. The residency fee does not include accommodation. A second residency site in the countryside of Rome is a particularly good option for collaborative projects and/or artists who want to bring their spouses/companions and/or young family (supplemental fee). Housing is included. Residents have a private studio and one-bedroom house. For ceramic artists, there is access to electric and gas kilns, with options for reduction firing. 

Artist and Researcher in Residence Guiniguada is awaiting guests who have projects or would want to get a deeper understanding of the following issues: Ecology & society: ecological art, food chain, carbon and nitrogen cycle, recuperation of ecosystems. The Rothko Museum invites artists to apply to the “Mark Rothko 2025” International Painting Symposium – a vibrant creative forum organised in the museum’s residency framework. Held annually in September for over twenty years, the symposium commemorates Mark Rothko’s birthday in his native town and puts Daugavpils in the spotlight as an inspiring hub for contemporary artistic practices where creativity can truly thrive. This internationally popular symposium is an inclusive platform for discussion and an opportunity for seeing and discovering a place with links to Rothko’s childhood, learning about Rothko’s background and experiencing his originals in the museum’s Rothko Room. 10 professional artists will take part. The selection will be competition-based, with the jury assessing submitted materials.

A to Z Wineworks, located at their REX HILL property in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, seeks an Artist in Residence for a term beginning in Fall 2025 with a harvest experience and ending in Fall 2026.

The A to Z Artist in Residence immersion program follows the natural cycle of a vintage from pre-harvest through bottling, observing and participating in the art of winemaking. The artist begins as a paid harvest intern. After harvest, the Artist in Residence works on their individual art while remaining involved in the life of the winery as the wine moves from grapes to glass. The residency concludes with a public showcase of some of the artist’s work through a gallery showing, lecture, reading and/or performance.

Fusion Art announces the Figures & Faces 2025 Art Competition.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography depicting the human form - both figures & faces.

All artists, regardless of location or experience, are invited to submit their best representational and/or abstract art and photography. This is the 11th annual Figures & Faces art competition that gallery has held.

Sculpture in the Valley submissions now open, closing 1 June. $25K+ in prizes. Arts in the Valley is a community organisation, umbrella for three types of events conducted in the historic village of Kangaroo Valley – music, Visual Arts and Sculpture in the Valley. It typically shows off some large-scale and thrilling sculptures viewed against a scenic backdrop. Small scale works are also on show, this time within a re-purposed heritage cow shed. There is a competition with non-acquisitive prizes. The sculptures are available for sale and: “yes, commissions occur”. Sculpture in the Valley 2025 will be held again on private acreage. Two adjoining properties have been chosen and they sit alongside Barrengarry Creek with marvellous views of the soaring sandstone escarpments for which the valley is known.
