Their goal is to commission an artist or artist team to create a sculpture that will become a vibrant addition of the sculptural fabric of their town. The Selection Committee will consider entries in all durable media worthy for outdoor installation, and will consider all stylistic variations, including realism, figurative, multi-media, kinetic and environmental works that push the boundaries of sculpture itself. The Yavapai College Art Gallery in Prescott, Arizona seeks solo-exhibition proposals for its occasional series One Gallery/Two Exhibitions. All mediums will be considered. The YC Visual Arts Department Gallery Committee will select two exhibition proposals, and both solo exhibitions will be featured at Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus Art Gallery from June 11 to August 25, 2025. Each artist will fill about half of their 2,332 square feet of exhibition space (1792 sq/ft of gallery space with a 540 sq/ft movable wall system). The exhibitions will be separated with distinctive titles, labels, lettering and signage. The public exhibition at the YC Prescott Campus Gallery will include a joint opening reception and artist talks, as well as online and print-media promotion.

Arts Letters & Numbers is a year-round Artist Residency providing a creative sanctuary in the historic Faith Mills Complex in rural Upstate New York. The residency fosters an environment of creative urgency and collaboration, offering inspiring spaces like a warm Victorian home, a white barn, and textile mills turned into studios, all surrounded by woods, lakes, and opportunities for connection. Residents have the freedom to shape their workspace and rhythms while engaging in shared meals, bonfire conversations, and community programming, including open studios, workshops, exhibitions, and more. With seasonal residencies lasting 1 to 12 weeks, the program welcomes artists to explore their work and contribute to the inclusive dialogue through proposed projects such as performances or lectures. 

Applicants will usually have completed a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art or a related subject, but this is not essential; relevant experience or qualifications will be taken into account. Applicants are expected to show a strong portfolio of work demonstrating a commitment to drawing and a level of artistic professionalism appropriate for study at postgraduate level. Being outside is so engaging and transformative that people have invented numerous ways to access it. Activities like hiking, biking, climbing or skiing are experiences that are life-giving to many. It is no surprise that these inspiring experiences are also the activities of some artists due to the exposure to the wonders and beauty of the natural world. Artists are also attuned to the rewards that come from pushing past creative boundaries, which is not unlike the physical boundaries that are often needed to be pushed when playing outside. “bildingship” is a working fellowship for young artists aged up to 31 years, to use bilding as space for their own artistic work as well as actively engaging in the regular workshop programme from July 1st 2025 until February 7th 2026 (prolongation to one year is possible), including part-time employment (500€ per month). The (In)Organic, a PH21 Gallery exhibition in Barcelona. The organic and the inorganic shape the world, forming the essence of both natural landscapes and human-made environments. Their dynamic interaction – whether in harmony or contrast – defines visual and conceptual experiences. The (In)Organic exhibition invites photographers to explore these dualities: the natural and the artificial, the living and the inanimate, the spontaneous and the constructed. Through photography, they seek to reveal the aesthetic, symbolic, and conceptual dialogues between these realms. From the human body to vast landscapes, from architectural structures to intimate interiors and still lifes, the exhibition welcomes both representational and abstract works that challenge, redefine, and reimagine the boundaries between organic and inorganic forms.

For this exhibition, they seek photographs that embody the spirit of dreaming—images that are deeply personal, ethereal, mysterious, or even unsettling. They invite work that captures the blurred line between reality and fiction, bringing forth the magic, wonder, and complexity of the mind’s eye. All photographic processes and interpretations are welcome, from surreal digital composites to dreamlike film captures and abstract experimental works.

The juror will select up to 35 images for exhibition in their Middlebury, Vermont gallery and another 40 images for their Online Gallery. The Wrangell Mountains Residency Program aims to support artists of all genres, writers, and inquiring minds. Their organization and community will provide a unique and rustic workspace located in the heart of the nation’s largest national park. They invite applicants with creative and inquisitive minds who will both add to and benefit from the interdisciplinary efforts at their community hub in McCarthy, Alaska and the surrounding Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve. The Alexey von Schlippe Gallery at the University of Connecticut Avery Point (AVS Gallery) seeks proposals for sculpture/installations, video works/projections, or light-based works for Open Air 2025.
