This is one of those pieces that came about only due to familiarity. Having passed this place 100's of times over the years, and painting a person of this location a couple of times, I wonder what it would be like to see this from a slightly higher perspective looking down on the mature corn fields and the sun settled in the western sky. Launching my new hobby drone I took a number of shots and found one that really appealed to me. This is the that shot, interpreted and painting on a panel.
