If this looks familiar it is because I painted a similar piece from the same location a couple years ago. I have always loved that original piece so I thought I would try again from a slightly different perspective. This time the painting is only 7" x 5", smaller than the 8" x 6" original. Something about small paintings that creates an intimate feeling for a work like this.
