My art practice challenges social and linguistic constructs in the United States through precisely crafted artworks organized into collections.
MessageHomage to WSPU (Women's Social and Political Union) transforms domestic and decorative materials—pipe insulation, vacuum hose covers, parasols, cords—into a sprawling, looping assemblage that recalls banners or ribbons of protest. The green and white palette echoes the historic suffragette colors, signaling resilience and the demand for rights. Yet the work resists tidy order; its knots and tangled curves suggest the messy, unfinished struggle for gender equality. This piece reclaims domestic objects, historically tied to women’s containment, as tools of defiance and solidarity
