Knitting needles pierce its chest—one for each sculpture in the series—counting acts of misogyny and experience. The iron and cord anchor the scene in domestic labor, where objects from lived experience challenge a purist aesthetic hierarchy that privileges one set of materials over another based on gender association. Each needle represents a needle of history, politics, and lived life.
