My interdisciplinary practice investigates the social and linguistic constructs that shape identity, history, and collective memory in the United States.
MessageThe work stages a clash between domestic calm and political intrusion: a floral frame is pierced by a metal clamp compressing a bottle of Tylenol, encircled by frantic coils of wire. Quoted warnings about acetaminophen, delivered with certainty, become part of the sculpture’s pressure system, exposing how fear-driven health messaging can distort public understanding.
The object becomes a proxy patient, caught within a vise of rhetoric, uncertainty, and manufactured alarm.
