My interdisciplinary practice investigates the social and linguistic constructs that shape identity, history, and collective memory in the United States.
MessageThe work stages a clash between domestic calm and political intrusion: a floral frame is pierced by a metal clamp squeezing a bottle of Tylenol, encircled by frantic coils of wire. The quoted warnings about acetaminophen—delivered with theatrical certainty—become part of the sculpture’s pressure system, exposing how fear-based health messaging compresses public understanding. The object becomes a proxy patient, caught in the vise of rhetoric, uncertainty, and manufactured alarm.
