My interdisciplinary practice investigates the social and linguistic constructs that shape identity, history, and collective memory in the United States.
MessageThe assemblage fuses a coded plea with the stark symbol of a hanger, collapsing past and present. By invoking the Jane Collective’s clandestine care network of 1969–73, the work warns how today’s abortion limits resurrect the dangers they fought to undo. The layered frames read as legal cages, while the hanger becomes both threat and testimony.
