Residual Bloom is a projection-based installation in which a hand-painted glass slide, marked with viscous strokes of oil and carbon pigment, is cast against a bare concrete wall. The composition suggests petals caught mid-shed, or ink dissolving in water. Marlow’s process preserves the immediacy of the painted gesture while making it fleeting; the image exists only in the interplay between pigment, lens, and wall surface.
