Pillars of the New Sun is a large-scale, site-specific installation composed of over fifty tall glass columns, each infused with a gradual transition of color from deep gold through rose and lavender into pale blue. Arranged in precise rows, the work creates a visual corridor that shifts with the viewer’s movement, producing moments of alignment and dissonance. As light passes through the glass, it refracts into the surrounding space, creating a wash of chromatic shadow that changes throughout the day. Korrin’s arrangement recalls both a horizon line dissolving into atmosphere and a forest of refracted light, merging architectural discipline with ephemeral color play.
