Lunar Field transforms the gallery into a living fragment of landscape beneath a suspended celestial event. A soft mound of soil, seeded with native wildflowers and meadow grasses, stretches across the floor, evoking a fragment of untouched hillside. Overhead, a perfect black disc edged with a narrow white corona floats within a recessed ceiling aperture, simulating the stillness and gravity of a lunar eclipse. Visitors recline on floor cushions and wear soundproof headphones that block all external noise, immersing them in an auditory void that heightens the perception of light, shadow, and subtle movements of the earthbound elements. The work brings together the tactility of the land with the immensity of cosmic time, collapsing vast distances into a single, intimate encounter.
