Beyond the Edge explores the tension between what can be seen and what lies just beyond perception. Through layered oil and acrylic paint, textured passages, and intuitive mark-making, I build a surface that feels both grounded and elusive. The work moves between restraint and release, allowing color, form, and texture to emerge gradually as the painting reveals itself.

I’m drawn to that space where certainty gives way to possibility — where the known begins to dissolve and something quieter, deeper, and more mysterious comes forward. In Beyond the Edge, I use vibrant color relationships, tactile texture, and shifting layers to create a sense of movement, depth, and emotional presence. The painting invites the viewer to linger, to move closer, and to experience the unfolding conversation between surface and spirit.
