When I was in high school the Crests put out a song titled “Sixteen Candles” which became a movie about a teenage girl’s birthday. Now late in life it reminds me of all those pivotal moments that happen to us in our lifetimes. Some of those moments can determine and have determined some of the twists and turns in our lives, and possibly the entire course of our life. Thus came the title "Nine Candles”.
