An individual may be known by his character. In "Cobalt Character", I believe a painting can have a character that defines it, and maybe it reflects my own character. That is a sobering thought as it may show something that I might not want to show. I often struggle to let my creations run free as a flow my own creativity. It seems easier to paint someone else's character or maybe what I think the viewer's character might be. Maybe it comes all with all three - others, my mental control, and free spirit. I hope this painting is my expression with my favorite color, cobalt blue.
