Dianna Anderson
Dianna is energized by capturing the essence of light en plein air with oils expressing subtle color shifts creating interpretations of those ethereal moments.
MessageWhen I arrived on location to paint 'Rush of the Tide', Marginal Way, Ogunquit, Maine, a dense fog covered everything. Poor visibility and the sound of the surf crashing on the rocks encouraged me to think I would paint the fog. With my painting gear set up, I began drawing with oil paint. Within minutes, the fog lifted enough for the sun to shine on the rocks but not on the sea beyond. Right then my idea of what to paint had totally changed.
