“Limbic Loveseat,” crafted out of velvet, silk, foam, 70 cubic feet of recycled soft plastic film, recycled shipping foam and wood, is a three-dimensional tribute to our brain's limbic system: the seat of our emotions, behaviors, long-term memories and smell. Weeks has reimagined this important center of our emotional and behavioral life woven with memory as a sturdy, and softly textural cushioning sculpture of support.
