Radiant Façade

"RADIANT FAÇADE" depicts a building that I paint often, a recurring motif that I return to often in various lights to convey differing moods.

The title refers to the radiant light glowing off the building façade. The contrast with the dark clouds behind reminds me of how my mom, also an artist, taught me to see the world – noticing beauty and illumination in any circumstance. This memory captured in paint in my adulthood gives me a sense of familiarity through reminisced experience, offering me comfort in dark days.
